  1. :crying:

iknow i was crying in fron of the computer.. and cussing those women.,..and doctors damn the doctors... :crying:

They are not a real Doctors if they killed an innocent baby.

Doctor is to " SAVE LIFE" :crying::(

I don't think you can tell that these were 'innocent' babies just from the video. Several appeared to be natural abortions caused by abnormalities in the pregnancy. I saw lots of videos like this when I was in college except the ones I watched were narrated letting us know what was going on

abortion is mortal sin. There are many reasons why women undergo in that way...but we can't judge them becuase of that.

i think real doctor can do that too,if only two options....either the woman die or the baby die....thats is your choice.

Like what i've seen in the story line....the woman have a cancer and she is under chemo and the doctor find that she is pregnant.

The doctor ask,she need to choice. To stop medication or not.

  2. How about Cebu?

Thats an option we have been discussing too. Thanks

How about a donation to the church?

Thanks but I dont understand? What does this have to do with CFO?

in cebu,it is first come first serve and only 15 persons daily..u have to bring everything/documents

about your fiancee or husband.and if you are married they want to see the capacity to marry just like mine and the divorce decree

    of your fiancee or husband.

For me cfo have also rules, they are like an agent who give pre-caution to all who migrate to other places.

To know what u gonna do and don't cuz they are only afraid you might be not in good hand when u come to your

distination without knowing more to whom you go with.

  3. Dear all,

On January 20th my fiancee died of a heart attack related to a congenital disorder known as atrial septal defect (basically a hole in the heart). She was just 24 years old. She was diagnosed with the condition last March, and underwent open heart surgery in Cleveland on January 6th. The surgery was deemed a success and Ally was released from the hospital 6 days later. I had been visiting from England since Xmas Eve and flew back on the 13th January. The funny things was that the day I flew home our visa petition was approved! We were both so excited, as this meant I was looking at being back in the States for good around the end of March. I'd even interviewed for a job as a soccer coach in Cincinnati and been offered the position. Everything was looking perfect until I received a phone call from her mother...

I was wondering if anyone knew what I should do to close the K-1 case? Do I need to call the NVC or the US embassy? Any advice is gratefully appreciated.

I also wanted to thank the people on this forum for the help they provided myself and Ally during the whole process and wish you all luck on your journey.

    Tom.

condolence Tom,just imagine that GOD has reason why she takes away from you...always positive..

  4. This was passed in one of the Philippines Expats groups that I belong to.

MANILA, Philippines- The inability of the Philippine economy to produce

high-paying jobs especially for women has pushed Filipinos to marry

foreigners as a way to provide for their families, the study Country

Gender Assessment by regional lender Asian Development Bank said.

The number of Filipinos marrying foreigners have also tripled in just a

span of eight years from 7,819 in 1998 to 24, 954 in 2006.

It is also estimated that currently, 300,000 Filipinos, 92 percent of

whom are women, are married to foreigners mainly from the United States,

Japan, Canada, the United Kingdom and South Korea.

"(I)n the Philippines (as elsewhere), the phenomenon of 'mail order

brides' is not uncommon. In the absence of employment prospects and with

families to care for, many women view marrying a foreigner as an easy

ticket to an overseas life with steady remittances. With the advent of

the Internet, chat rooms, and text messaging the marriage migration

numbers are on the rise," the ADB said.

Data from The Commission on Filipinos Overseas showed that Filipino

women marrying men from East Asian countries tend to be younger and less

educated. These foreign men also usually are at least 40 years older

    than their Filipino brides.

"Reports indicate that more women apply for 'marriage visas' to Japan as

a result of Japan reducing its official demand for entertainers, " ADB

    said.

In 2005 Japan has imposed a stricter immigration policy following

Tokyo's inclusion in a US watchlist of high incidence of human

    smuggling.

ADB said Manila should undertake measures to protect Filipino women as

those who marry foreigners that they do not know face enormous risks.

"Many of the men live in remote areas and are unsuccessful with women

from their own culture, who they feel are spoiled and have too many

freedoms. Instead, they want women with 'traditional' family values who,

once in the country, have nowhere to turn and are completely at their

    mercy," ADB said.

Among the recommendations of the ADB was to tap remittances from

overseas Filipinos for productive investment and sustainable livelihood

opportunities for women so that migration becomes a choice rather than a

    necessity.

I consider alot of filipina who marry foreigner becuase white guys seeking of this.... filipina have

many aspect that other woman don't have.Filipina can survive in any struggle

cuz we are already trained cuz we live in poor family , filipina are intelligent in everyway and we fight can our rights.

However, becuase of love and much respectful we are defeated.

To help our parents,is not the obligation of the husband.Since we,filipino have a good heart

and can't take our family out their suffering ...thats why we help. It Depend to the husband if he will help or not.

if they will...thats come from the heart.

  5. hello vj...i already sent my papers to my husband and then he will send it to chicago lockbox....its really obvious after that is the affidavit of support....and that my problem cuz my husband dont have a tax return ... he said...he was excempted and he didnt work since year 2002 until now and what pay stub were gonna show?

  7. I bet that most men who read the title of this thread suddenly felt insecure about something. But don't worry, boys, it's not what you think!

My question is this ... if the size of your fiance's wallet is very small, even with his big heart, will this diminish your desire to pursue the dream of going to America to marry and live with him?

Its doesn't matter to me if my husband have a small wallet cuz i love him for who he is and what he is,infact before he committed on you he will tell you thats his status in life.If your only looking a big wallet ..u can't find a true happiness in life.

  8. Its stated in the instruction a completed and signed Form G-325A,Biographic information, for you and a Form G-325A for your wife/husband.Except for your name and signature u do not have to repeat on form G-325A the information given on your form I-130 petition.

I am the beneficiary and im the who make for my husband cuz he want me to do it for himself. Is it a big deal,if I filled up the form to the area where supposed to be not? That can cuz of denial?

    please help me...

  9. I was amused last night that based alone on an opinion veiled with sarcasm that I posted in one discussion thread here, someone already extrapolated about the likes of me using Americans for the purpose of getting a green card and ruining the image of Filipinas. And I am now the enemy, hahaha!

I lost track of what were posted there and well, I am anymore interested to know. It however, made me wonder -

ONE: Why is it that there are SOME USC (read: males who have American citizenship) who easily think, conclude and/or accuse that Filipinas come to the US for the mere purpose of getting a green card? What I find it perpelexing is the fact that they, themselves have either a pending petition to bring their Filipina SO or have been with their SO who came here via K1, K3 or CR1. Is it not that the presumption why they filed their petition for their SO is because they really believe in true love and that when people are in love, they need to be together? Why then this seemingly standing assumption that Filipinas come to the US for the mere purpose of getting a green card? I find it really insulting to us, FILIPINAS!!!

TWO - What really is the image of a Filipina that has been projected to the world, in general and to the USC in particular? Is it the concept of Maria Clara as portrayed in Jose Rizal's Noli Me Tangere or that of Gabriela Silang who was a historical figure in the Philippines? Or should the Filipina image be taken in the context of the present setting or trend that Filipinas comprises about 70% of the work force in the Philippines so much that it could easily be concluded that the vast majority of the Filipinos are working women?

THREE - If the Filipina decided to work and be empowered by being financially independent, does it make her less of a Filipina?

Ah, I leave it to you, peeps. For now, I've got to go and be empowered not necessarily to overpower my husband but only to be what I have always been, an intelligent Filipina who knows my priorities as a wife, a mother and a woman, wink**

Let it be...if they think of that so be it...nothing lost to us filipina.Maybe they only insecure cuz we filipinos/filipina wherever we go we are not left behind we always on top...we can compete to other races in every way.....cuz we our heart and mind....

  14. I don't think it really matters. Send whatever you can. If you can only send copies at this time then send them, but if you have the originals with you, make copies, send them the originals and save the copies with your records.

    Diana

Affidavits attesting to marriage bona fides should be originals. They are for USCIS adjudication, not for the visa interview. Save copies and include the originals. Other supporting documentation should be photocopies.

Thanks VJ's for clarification....hope this year of the OX lots of visas approved or touch...

  19. hello and happy 09 VJ people...

ive read threads here that ask about shipping from US to the PI.

what about the other way around? has anyone ever tried shipping from PI to US?

    how much did you pay?

and for how long did you wait?

do you know of any reliable companies?

DHL? 2go? LBC? or even fedex?

my bf's mom sends me boxes and pays around $80/box with no weight limit. just no oversized boxes.

and takes 3-4 months for the boxes from their doorstep to mine.

so i was wondering... what about shipping from the PI to the US?

if you have any ideas, please do share. your replies will be highly appreciated. thank you.
