    My husband an I went to the court house last week to get married and that's it! Today we sent our AOS .

    No wedding planned is needed. All you have to do is get married within 90 days to fulfill K-1 visa requirement.

    It depends on where the petioner lives.

    The petitioner's state of residence determines which service centre processes the I-129F.

    I disagree with Michaels7 about not applying for Advanced parole. It is only one more form and it is free with AOS.
    The whole thing about advance parole that without it. if you do leave you will probably be denied entry, with it you will be more than likely re-admitted. Advanced Parole exists for a reason. Not just to create paperwork for you.
    Michaels7 is also very wrong about not being able to travel outside of the US with a two year conditional green card.
    The two year green card holder has all the rights and privileges of the ten year card holder.
    Like all green card holders, if you are outside of the US for an extended period of time of over 6 months they may consider you have abandoned your residence.
    The conditions refer to Marriage requirements, and removing those conditions at the end of the two year period.
