I received my visa packet today (December 09, 2008) at 3:35PM!!!! I'm so excited that they send me a message for the delivery.

The visa packet includes the instructions for CFO Seminar.

I was checking delbros and tracking my visa but i see no update since the last time i paid for delivery.

both u and ur fiance can call. if u call from phil, it will cost u 55pesos per minute using ur cellphone..while it is $18 PIn payable if your fiance from US will call...The $18 is good for 3unlimited calls and it is good for 90days. You call USEM from mondays to fridays.

When was ur case forwarded from NVC to USEM? make sure that your case is available at USEM and it is ready for interview schedule...Once not, u will have to call again.

Hi, Angel. My fiance got our MNL case number through calling NVC yesterday, don`t know yet if it is already forwarded in USEM. He just email me earlier that he callled up NVC and got our case number. Is it possible for us to call for interview appointment? and if it is possible ? can i use smart prepaid cell phone to call NVC? If I will be one to call USEM?

1. You can already set an interview appointment at the US Embassy. The numbers given are US Embassy numbers and not NVCs.

2. AFAIK, Smart user can also use the 1-909 hotline.

3. Given the number of applicants, expect that your interview schedule will be on January.

4. Upon scheduling of your interview, you will be then emailed a schedule which you can use to have your medical exam at St. Luke's.

To Jose Rizal, did you just say that I can call the American Embassy for my fiancee's interview appointment even though our NVC case number ain't in the embassy's system yet? Please expound, compadre.

Even if you have MNLxxx case number but your case package is not yet available at USEM, you will be refused to schedule for an interview since your case is not yet processed. It is the NVC who made your MNLcase number but it doesn't mean that when it is given to u, you are now able to set an appointment. You have to wait for few more days or wait until u receive the USEM letter to schedule your interview.

hmm..i think u have to put your permanent residence address with it. same case as mine. MY G325a has CDO address and my I-134 has My present address which is Bacoor, cavite.

why will u be the one to file the affidavit of support? I am not sure with this, but i think, your fiance must file for that. This document is very important and must come from ur fiance and must be notarized from his place. (I am not sure with this but it would be safe if ur fiance will be the one to prepare for it). Tell ur fiance to prepare it and have it notarize from the place he is residing at. then, tell him to scan it and email it to u or u may use private courier to send the original copy to u. I think, scanned documents are acceptable at the embassy.. That is what i presented to the pre-screener.

Congradulations and that was a really nice telling of the events at the Embassy. You should write a letter to the Embassy telling that story to them so they can put that letter in the file of the interviewer for doing such a good job. IM sure they woudl appreicate that.

nice idea, hmmm I just that this post of mine will give some ease and remove some worries to those who will still be having their interview.

My advice to all, just be who u are...wear your smile and greet the USEM personnels..They are good if you are good to them too.

I agree!! i had my interview last December 6, 2007, I greeted Merry Christmas the lady at the finger scanning and she told that "don't worry we are not bad here as what other people say". my pre-screener were and most of all I had a cool and John Travolta look a like Consul .

Don't worry about it. Just wait for your visa to be delivered. I think, once your case is handed to the releasing counter(the last window at USEM), ur case is ready for the visa printing...no worries.. remember, there was 3-day holidays, so, expect that there will be some delays.
