A letter of intent is not intended to be your LOVE story but can be as simple as:
I John Doe, have petitioned for my fiancee Mary Smith, and fully intend to marry her within 90 days of her arrival to the USA on a K-1 visa.

I had my interview today at the Embassy. The consul said that everything is good except for my husband's Affidavit of Support. We submitted Affidavit of Support but my husband's income is not sufficient so we got a co-sponsor who is my aunt and qualifies for the income requirement. We've been told here and also searched online that if sponsor does not qualify then can get co-sponsor and would not be a problem....
The consul who interviewed me said that my husband woul d still need to submit employment letter. Currently, my husband is applying for a job as CNA because he studied the past months. This has confused me and my husband... consul said that the k3 visa does not apply for the co-sponsor? Please we need advice..what should we do?
Are you saying the CO won't allow your aunt to be a cosponsor? Also is your hubby currently working?
Hi Haole... I need advice... this was a horrible news for me and my husband. I told the CO that i have my co-sponsor and i have submitted everything for the co-sponsor. Currently, my husband doesn't have work as he is applying for CNA job... what do you think about this? Please we need help...
Did you only submit one I-134? If so, your husband will need to submit one along with any supporting documentation as well. Manila, sometimes accepts co-sponsors but the petitioner must submit an affidavit of their own regardless.
Did you only submit the Affiavit of support of the co-sponsor? how about your husband I-134? I am very curios about this case. I did not heared that K3 does not apply for co- sponsor. Good luck. Go to Philippines Furom and for sure people there can help you. POST THIS THREAD THERE.

Ok, if I have a good reason, how can I request an expedite? whom should I call? what the numbers? how much should I pay? what forms should I fill out or where should I go?
When my husband request for an expidite he called the USCIS then the lady there filled out the form for him then told him that he will know somthing from them then after 2 days they sent an e mail to my husband but he deleted the e mail accidentally so on monday he will call again to have the e mail from them beacuse you will send the evidence with that e mail from USCIS.
-
Sounds like a perfectly valid reason to me. I would hope USCIS will be sympathetic to your request.Hello VJ members!
,
I have a question we already request an expidite for our papers then after 2 working days the USCIS e mail my husband but he accidentally delete the e mail/he did not noticed the e mail from the USCIS. OUr reason to expidite our papers is that he had a heart attack. we have all the evidence. And he is having a lot of pain from his back from the ARMY. Do you think this reasons can approve our expidite? By the way this monday he will going to call the USCIS again to ask the e mail beacuse you will fax the evidences with the e mail they sent to my husband. I need some advices Or does anyone know if OUR REASON IS VALID??? Thank you Guys.
Good luck to all of us!

I was denied for K-3 visa and the Consular Officer told me that the petition will be returned to NVC for proper disposition and she said that it will be revoke soon, she said that we can appeal directly to NVC but i don't know that we need to have an action right away for an appeal we did it but i think its too late, so if the petition returned to NVC and it will be null and void, somebody knows when we can refile a new one? and its possible to refile? ANY ADVICES WILL BE APPRECIATED..thanks in advance....have a great day!!!
Hopefully you know why they denied your k-3 so you can address it on your next petition to the uscis. I think you need to cancel out your denied k-3 then reapply. Or you can hang tight and wait for your" Notice Of Intent to Deny letter " and send in your proofs then so you won't have to reapply.
who did you get the denial letter from? it should have advised you that you have 30 days to appeal. I agree if it is still at the embassy I would immediately send any and all documentations proving your marriage. we sent copies of wedding cards from family & friends, calling card purchases, bus tickets, reference letters from family and friends, copies of lease when he was living with me, copies of car insurance showing in both names, copies of life insurance showing my husband as beneficiary, copies of joint bank account statements, emails... just to mention a few.. Don't just wait, take action! Good luck!
Thanks a lot, but here in USEM Manila if they need more evidence they will tell you but mine was, they sent me a reusal letter and then with an appointment letter to appear at the Embassy i thought i have a chance to show more evidence but during my appearance with the CO she told me that she cannot entertain anything because it was already had a final decision, she said that all i can do is to appeal in the USCIS because it will be returned to NVC to revoke....during my interview i presented also joint account, insurance that i am the beneficiaries, marriage certificate original from CA, but not from NSO i think that is the question because suppose to be i need to present marriage contract from NSO forwarded by Phil. Consulate, copies of the receipt we used for our honeymoon, pictures etc.... but still they said im not eligible and only immigration purposes only
its unfair!!!
I am sorry to hear this!
. I am just thinking If they think that " Its IMMIGRATION PURPOSE" because of your past relationship. Why dont you get married again in the PHILIPPINES and file for k3? Just a thought
. good luck to you! Just be strong and fight for it.
and YOU WILL BE FINE
. MAY GOD BLESS YOU

If the attorney's office does not work with you to provide the correct case number, then you can always try to contact USCIS directly. I have no idea how much they will help you, though.
You are paying for this attorney's services, so you have every right to call them up and ask for their assistance. I can't tell from your post if the attorney is making an honest mistake or being deliberately unhelpful. How long were you to retain the lawyer? Was the agreement meant that the attorney would take care of the process until the US citizen's spouse enters the US or just submit the paperwork?
You have to be a little proactive here. Have the US citizen (it sounds like it's the husband?) contact the attorney's office and politely explain the problem. If he's being put off repeatedly have him remind the office that he paid for their services. If he thinks that he got scammed (ie, the attorney took his money and sent him a fake case #), then he can state he'll be lodging a complaint with the state bar where the attorney practices.
Edit: I'm not sure what proof they have that their CR-1/IR-1 has been approved if they do not the correct case #. Do they know only because the attorney said so? It seems like they never got a copy of an approval letter since the case # should be on it.
P.S. When I say "you", I am referring to your friend. I just switched to "you" for convenience's sake.
Yes the US citizen petitioner is the husband. And they only ave the case number from the attorney..But I will make sure later if they got the copy of NOA2...talk to you later guys need to ask my friend. Thank you very much.
Their case is already in the NVC they got approved last September 17, 2008. Imagine? and they did not hear anything from their attorney since they passed the papers like the DS-230, I-864, W'2 and the $ 400 to the attorney last october 10

attorney from where? try to ask your friend to call USCIS or NVC they can also e-mail NVC about their case number.
check this website: http://travel.state.gov/about/info/info_308.html that is the NVC contact numbers.
sue the attorney.
Their attorney is from the US her petitioner called the NVC but cannot get a hold. She cannot contact USCIS because her papers is in NVC now but the problem is about the case # and the invoice # that their attorney gave to them they cannot check it online.
Anyone can help her?

they are right
. and also before sending this certain document think of another document that needs your signature for you to save some time, sending it one at a time.
goodluck!
Thank you a lot guys
. This site is very hepful
THANK YOU www.visajourney.com

Hi there!
I did the same way that you do. But you know what for a very small mistakes it takes us like 2 months delayed to resubmit our papers again. The signature should be original. If I were you send it in the snail mail it will only takes like a week or so for him to get your mail. If your fiancee or spouse already send the documents they will send back to you the document and they will asked for a real signature from you. Fill up another g325-a and send him thru snail mail as soon as you can. I hope I help you with this, I know its very confusing. Goodluck!
Thank you very much for the helpful reply 'acidentaly_n_LOVE'. He already sent the paperwork to the USCIS last september. Oh man! so is it stil ok if I will going to send it next week? thanks.
