  2. What's the hold up?

Around 6,000 cases backlogged rumored. USEM is no longer scheduling interviews for Nov/Dec.

OPs! I've got one friend she will be having her interview on Dec 9. 2008. Take note they just scheduled it last NOv 11...hehehe

  3. CONGRATULATIONS GIRL!!!!! :luv: As Bheng said, for the nth times

I wanna thank you also for all the words of encouragement!

    Visa coming so sooon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Cheers!!!! sana ako din :D

    Medical:

i went to SLEC about 1:30pm to get my medical exam done last november 6 and 7 even without an appointment letter, i just brought with me the letter from NVC and had no problem with it,

the guard gave me some forms to fill up and told me to give it at the US receptionist, after that, i was told to pay to the cashier, i forgot what floor was that, then i got my x-ray done, eye exam, vital signs, immunization interview, blood extraction, urine specimen, and i was asked to submit the forms to the US counter at 5th floor, i was able to get out of the building about 3:45pm...

second day, the guard instructed me to proceed to 2nd floor for immunization  which was an indication that i did pass my medical exam, so i waited for hours and hours for my name to be called, and then when it was my turn, i got 4 shots, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, and HPV, hah! that was a lot! then i was asked to wait for my name to be called at the ground floor for releasing... i got out of the building about 6pm...

then i got sick for 2 day...

    Scheduling my interview:

We received the appointment letter on november 10 and we were lucky to have scheduled my interview on the 14th at 7am, it was just so perfect, perfect timing!

    Interview at USEM:

i wasn't able to sleep the night before my interview, i was so excited, so me and my uncle left the house around 4:45am and arrived at the USEM about 5:30am, there were a lot of applicants who were already waiting at the waiting area,

at about 6:30am, those who had an appointment at 7am were told to fall in line at the main gate, the guard checked our appointment letter and identification and told us to proceed to Gate 2 for scanning of bags and things, we went inside they told us to get our DS forms ready, there was a very nice lady who check our DS forms for corrections, after that, the guard told us to fall in line again to get a number, after that, we were told to get back to our seat again and wait... and then wait... and wait again... for hours...

finally, i was called for finger scanning, and the lady at the window told me "good luck on your interview," and then i went back to my seat to wait again... for hours... and another hour...

then  i was called at window 20 for pre-screening, the pre-screener took my bc, nbi clearance, cenomar, I-134, ITR, copy of divorce decree, pictures and emails, the questions that she asked me were:

    who is petitioner?

    how old is he?

    where does he live?

can you tell me how did you guys met? when?

were you able to meet him in person? when? how many times?

does he have previous marriages? do you have a copy of his divorce papers?

do you guys have pictures? emails?

    how do you communicate?

i gave her all of the printed emails and voice call history and pictures hoping that she wont return it back because those were really heavy, and she said, okay, good luck on your final interview,

again, i waited and waited for many hours, i was anxious and hungry and nervous at the same time, plus it was really cold inside the embassy, then after a couple of hours, my number was called at window 31, hehehe...

the consul was a very nice young looking man, he asked me the same questions that the pre-screener asked, while he was checking the evidence that i submitted to the pre-screener, he said, "everything looks good and i dont see any problem with your papers, so please wait outside for your name to be called," i thanked him and went outside, then the man at window 37 (releasing window) called my name and gave me a pink slip  and to my dismay! he gave me back the emails, voice call history, and other evidence that i submitted! but boy! i was just so happy! he said, "okay ma'am, you can go home after you pay for your visa delivery fee,"

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! .

Hello Guys! I am still calling all the September filers for k3.....Just join in this thread..hhehehhe lol

  6. Hey Guys! :) ,

I have a feelings that my I30 will get approve sooner than the I129 f since the USCIS sent back the g325 a of my husband beacuse he forget to signed it. We send the I130 last september 5 then got NOA1 last September 16.

And my 129f was sent first week of Oct then we got the NOA1 last October 16..

Guys, we are not approved yet. But if ever my I130 will get approve first than my i129f is it better to pursue to CR1? If we will do it what will happen to my I129f? After reading some post here about the CR1 it is MUCH BETTER THAN THE K3. But I am still confused

Please give me some advices! Thank you in advance :) . THank you VJ Family.

This site is VERY HELPFUL TO EVERYONE OF US HERE.GOOD LUCK

  12. Hello all,

I have a few questions regarding process

    1. I sent I-130 on 9-16-2008 and received approval via USCIS website 11-6-2008, what happens to the pending I-129F???

    2. Is this normal to receive approval for I-130 and not I-129F, having I-130 approved is the process the same?? Because I checked VJ K3 flow chart and it really only mentions I-129F NOA2 aprroval nothing about I-130

    3. I see on timelines people are able to track visa's to and from NVC? How do I track my visa? I called NVC and was told that it might take 4 to 6 weeks to receive visa packet? and then another 30 to 90 days to review??? I see on VJ most visa packets are received within a few days by NVC and sent out within 1 week, is this correct?

    (L)

    Any help would be fantasic!!!

    Thanks

Hey bbishopop! WOw that was very quick. We filed our I-130 last September first week.. What service center are you?

Congrats!. Just get your documnets ready for NVC so that your case will not take longer in NVC...

In my own opinion just go to I130 if that will happen to me I wil just pursue to my I-130... You will have everything you need when you get to the US. Good Luck
