ManuFred got a reaction from Amhara in BIOMETRICS - WALK IN TUCSON? ANYONE??
Why the assumption that Tucson doesn't have an office? Tucson has an ASC for fingerprinting and also an DHS office for interviews. As a matter a fact I did a walk-in in Tucson as I was not able to keep my original appointment. They can't always do that but they were able to squeeze me in, is what they said.

ManuFred got a reaction from Meen in Interview & Oath Ceremony together?Possible?
1) The fact that an office offers same day oath is not a guarantee you will have one.
2) You can use timelines from other people that went through your office to have an idea how long the average application will take. This is also not a guaranteed timeframe for your husband's case.

ManuFred got a reaction from sciencenerd in Sooo about Dual Citizenship
This is not correct to my knowledge. The US does allows dual citizenship, as well as for citizens of another country obtaining US citizenship as US-citizens acquiring citizenship of a foreign state. Same thing seems to apply for Canada.

ManuFred got a reaction from Kathryn41 in missing husband
The withdrawl of sponsorship is not necessarely gonna lead to this guys' deportation but will protect the OP from financial liabililty for this guy in the next ten years. The chance of this guy not to be deported makes revoking support actually a priority. The others are absolutely right with their advice.

ManuFred got a reaction from Matt & Bing in Marriage certifcate lost
No, you obtain a license from the county in which your wedding is gonna take place. In most cases you don't even have to be a resident of that county. A license is per proposed marriage not per person.

Indeed. A certified copy is ussualy made by the institution that issued you the original certifcate and has this institutions' certification it's an true copy of the original.

ManuFred got a reaction from Nich-Nick in UK Passport
No you don't. You just need to submit copies (back and front) of your current GC. So unless you need to go somewhere you don't need your passport.
