My best visa dance for you.
FINALLY!

By far, i can be myself in this thread.... unabashed.

No worries, all in good time.

FedEx works best for me. And you can track it. The package never leaves FedEx' hands - from sender to destination.

Alive na alive tayo dito ah!
Thats nice. We were usually nagging in this thread before hehe.

I just want to point out a couple of things.
1.) It is NOT true that most K1 applicants from the Philippines are "bar girls" (whatever that means... someone that works in a bar???).
2.) Cebu is NOT a hotspot with lots of "bar girls". Thats just stereotyping.

Congratulations! Start packing.

We are a little unsure if she will have to pay the travel tax. It might already be included in her ticket. I got the ticket here in the states from my travel agent. The ticket states:
"THIS PRICE INCLUDES AIRFARE, TAX, AGENT FEES AND SECURITY FEES"
so if anyone else has flown NWA, could you let me know if she still has to pay the travel tax.
I know she still has to pay the P750 terminal fee.
Hi there James! I flew with NWA last October. Matt purchased it online in their US website. The tax that was mentioned on the ticket receipt is the sales tax... not the travel tax in the airport. Dont worry, whatever the case may be, they'll be pulling up her record when she checks in the NWA counter. They'll inform her if she needs to pay travel tax and she dont have to fall in line again to get the boarding passes. Its P1620 for non-immigrants or P1750 (i think) for immigrants.
Have a safe trip you guys!

Hmmm we used to follow up by calling IV dept... they just pull up our case using our case numbers... was told they need to look at our record in their database (thru their computer).

Yeah, which lock are you talking about?
If its locked by its network provider like say for example T-mobile? If so, then you can call them ask for the codes.
If its PIN, call the manufacturer.
If you want it hacked. You need a compatible cable and a software. In most nokia phones, you need to push some buttons too (which is some weird combinations). You will lose the warranty in the process.

For the time being, you can visit these links:
http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3204.html
http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3219.html
http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html
You can find there relevant information about the whole process. Its always good to be well informed.
http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfk1en.pdf --> for the requirements updated last November. You have to constantly check the link just in case they'll add additional requirements for the coming months. I suggest you start gathering them.
Good luck on the interview.

Yup, thats true... print screens of video chats with your fiance or husband/wife is a good proof.
You have to put into consideration as well the dates and time of the emails, letters, chatlogs and pictures that you bring with you. So make sure when you print the emails, print it from the webpage coz that proves that you didnt edit the page as the link appears on the upper right hand corner. Dont copy paste it to MSWord... coz then they might think you edited it (as the embassy is always paranoid). Most people do that to save spaces and bond paper. Its entirely up to YOU. But if it were up to me, id eliminate the initial doubts.
You dont have to ask your fiance for the emails you sent him if your log on sent items is enabled in your email account (which it is by default in most common emails like yahoo, msn, hotmail....). Look for Sent Items (or anything similar to that) on the menu.
And of course they would know who is the sender, the receiver and when it was sent. Its on the details.
In most emails, when you click on reply button.... the previous message will automatically be in the text boxt like a recap, right? Im sure you noticed.... if you dont delete that when you reply then the emails you send to each other will kinda like look like a thread... one message after the other.
One tip: Emails are traceable so it IS good proof.
(Just my opinion.)
