So, i have an update for y all,

i went to the USPS today and told the clerk that i want my package to be there on Monday and he arranged for my package to arrive at Phoenix, AZ on Monday Dec 6th by 12:00 pm Guaranteed. so if you are in the same boat like me and don't wanna wait until Monday to send your package and wanna send it on Friday, Here is your answer!!!!. Remember this is still USPS express mail.

So, Basically you can just avoid the weekend delivery.

Why don't you just wait till Monday. There is no rush. It's more important to be sure it doesn't arrive before the 90 day limit. Arriving to early will end up in rejection of your file, which is worse than losing a couple of days.

it won't actually be before the 90 day period. it will be within the 90 day period. i will be eligible to file on Friday Dec 3rd, so i wanna send it on Friday but i'm just wondering about the delivery.

i actually just called the USPS customer service and they said that if they tried to deliver it on Saturday and no one was there to receive it, they will attempt to deliver it on Monday which is perfect, i just wanted to make sure.

just heads up to all of you sending their N-400 Package after November 23, 2010, the Fees are not 675$ any more. it's 680$ ( 595$ N-400 filling fees and 85$ Biometrics fees.

Mmm... probably, but it won't hurt the case either. Better too much as too little. Sometimes they just want to know whether you paid your taxes on a regular basis.

So i'm getting ready to file for my N-400 and i just wanted to make sure the i'm not missing anything before i send the package

i'm applying based on a 5 year and i'm divorced, so here is what i'm sending:

• The N-400 form (properly filled out, signed and dated)

• A personal check for 675.00 $ payable to Department of Homeland Security.

• A copy of my marriage certificate from my previous marriage.

• A copy of the original divorce decree.

• A copy of front and back of my Permanent Resident Card

• IRS transcript of 2007,2008,2009 taxes filing.

• Two identical color photographs, with my name and Alien Registration Number (A-Number) written lightly in pencil on the back of each photo.

I would greatly appreciate it if you can tell me if you think i'm missing anything before i send my package!!!!!!! oh, and i don't have any tickets or any problems like that. Also i didn't have any children from my previous marriage and i'm currently not married.

to answer your first question, yes,i used an attorney for my case and i recommend you use one. it saves you alot of trouble and i think it makes them look at your file in a different way. it's difnitly worth the money spent in getting a lawyer and you don't really have to hire an expensive one. just do your research or friends recomendation.

third, the problem with me was that i couldn't send them my divorce papers in time , becasue it wasn't finalized so they denied my case.

Mary, I would say do send the pictures. I've always sent a lot - over 50 - and things so far have gone good for us. The way I see it, "a picture paints a thousand words" and seeing the two of you together in real life situations with each others family is pretty good proof you had a valid marriage.

My pictures are also on the computer. I inserted 2 to a page in a Word document and put captions under them saying who was in them and the event and stuff. I used Christmas with family, at the hospital with my son and his newborn son, us after a coworkers weddding, etc. When you have other family of yours or his in the picture, and coworkers and things like that, it definitely shows more proof that you're living your life together. It's hard to pay over 20 people to pretend to spend a day together for Christmas and act like your marriage is real, especially children. Facial expressions sure say a lot.

Package will go out today via express mail so they will get it tomorrow at least when they see the package they maybe give a second look to my case. I know images say more that thousand words., and I am proud to say that my stepson and i love each other. I remember he told his dad once that he loves me more than him and his mom, if he wanted to know if his dad will be mad for that. I am being part of their life and them of mine for seven years and i love them more than anything in this world.

Hang in there my friend, i feel your pain. i will share my experience with you and i hope you will get something from it and i really recommend you do the same.

the Exact same thing that happened with you,happened with me. and i was freakin out. i would say first of all look at the reason on your denial letter, if it's something that you don't have to go to court and appeal for then that's great. because all you have to do then, is to send in another package with all you can tell them about how good your relationship with your wife is, and then wait. for me it worked out great and in my case it was an I-751 waiver and i got approved without and interview after 3 month of filing the second time. so cheer up and don't worry, it will all be ok. make sure you add the denial letter in your second package that you send out and make sure you pay the fees and everything becasue what's gonna happen is that they will send you an extension letter and you will have to do the biometrics again. Hi,to answer your question you will have no problem coming back from egypt for sure, i went to Egypt last year with my Extension notice and i just had to explain to them that this is an extension for the green card in the airport in cairo but otherwise in the states it's ok, i have been travelling with this paper for a while. so you will be fine. But make sure to have your expired green card with you for sure

Congrats on approval, it's funny how we have the exact same timeline and we got approved on the same day too :-). i have received my approval notice on Feb 11 but i haven't received the card yet, hopefully soon
