wow, I am no longer a junior member.

I have been permoted to be a real "member".

It's tuesday and I really hope the employees at VSC are drinking alot of coffee because my buddy Harsh needs to be approved this week!!! right Harsh?

I am not too worried about my case just yet. We complete our 5 months of waiting time on the 25th of this month and i am expecting my approval to come around that time. However; if i don't receive it by that day, then i will be really worried.

I really hope we get alot of approvals this weeks.

Hello VJ family,

Yes, Yes, Yes, I am back from Pakistan. I was lucky enough to spend 2 months with Irum. However; it was really hard to leave her. I really miss her now.

On a different note, I am really proud of my August family. When I left you guys were on page #99 and now we are on 266, awesome!

In conclusion I would like to say. “Let the Approvals begin!!!”

12 Hours and I am outta here.

Get to see Irum in about 36 hours.

I am gathering the paper work to send to my fiancée for her interview. One of the requirement is to send a letter as follows:

“Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance(e) and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F).”

I would like to see an example of this letter. I am confused about the type of vocab to use to “affirm” my intentions to marry my fiancée.

Any information will be helpful.

5 days till i see my better half.

I will be in Pakistan for next 2 months with Irum, therefore the wait time for my NOA2 will go by much faster!!!

I am a little under the weather today. i really hope i don't get too sick before Friday. I have alot of stuff to put together and pack up for the journey.

I think my clock has grown old and it has slowed down because the time simply isn't passing fast enough. One more week; Next Friday i will be outtaa here!!!

Ummm… r we talking about weight loss??? Well I am under extreme pressure right now because I am going to see my SO on the 14th of this month. Last time when I saw her in April-2008, I was in really good shape, 160 lbs, 5’11”, athletic tone, . However; after getting back to the states, I have been busy with my school (my masters program), my work and also with searching for a house for us to live in when she comes here. Consequently, I didn’t take care of myself and put on 25lbs. I was 185 about 2 months ago when I book my flight for Pakistan.

But now only a week away from my travel, I am proud to announce that I am 165lbs as of today and I am hoping to lose couple more pounds in next week or so.

God; so easy to put on these lbs and so hard to lose them. This sucks!!!

I still can't believe i am saying it. i thought it would never happen. Also, i have lived in Virginia all my life and Virginia is a historicly a republican state. I have been voting Democrats all my life. I simply wanted Democrats to win Virginia once in my life time. It happend last night.

Ok back to NOA2's, I think i have given up hope on recieving a NOA2 before i leave for Pakistan to go and see my SO. However the best part is that i am only 8 days away from seeing Irum.

Hello friends,

As you all know that I am going to visit my SO in mid-November but I am afraid that my NOA2 with arrive shortly after I leave. Therefore, in an effort to eliminate waiting time , I am planning on assigning my brother the duty to FedEx the NOA2 to Pakistan upon arrival. This will allow me to provide the copy of NOA2 along with rest of my the paper work to Irum (my SO) for her interview.

I have researched the list of the document that I need to collect that Irum may need during her interview. One of the document is “affidavit of support”.

One of the requirements of Affidavit of Support is to get a letter from my financial institute (my bank), which should state the following:

• Account open date

• Current balance

• Total deposit amount in the account over the past 12 months.

I have contacted the bank and they said everything else is pretty easy but the total deposit amount requires research (they said they need to take every months statement and physically add all the deposit amounts, inorder to calculate my Total deposit amount over the past 12 monts) The “research” is costing me $25 an hour. It can take up to 3 hours.

Now I need advise from you guys. Is it really required to get that total deposit amount on that letter or can we do without it. I am willing to pay $25 an hour for research if it is a must requirement but I don’t have to pay it. I’d rather save it.

All the suggestion or comments will only help me.

Yes, back at work and back on VJ. Thank you all for the kind suggestions yesterday. I think I need to do more research on, what the next step would be after I receive a NOA2. This will help me prepare better, if the NOA2 doesn’t show up before I leave to go and visit Irum.

I really hope a miracle occurs and I receive my NOA2 before I leave, so I can submit all the paper work before I leave. This will help my cut down on wait time for Interview.

Would you be able to prepare the paperwork in advance and have someone else submit it?

I have given it a serious thought and yes, I am planning on preparing all the paperwork and leaving it with my brother. However; I am still struggling with that idea because I won't have the full satasfaction until I put together the pakage with my own hands. I want to make sure that I have read every detailed and satasfied all requirements because it would be useless if the package goes out incomplete.

Therefore i am really praying that I recieve the package before I leave. If I don't, then i will try to find a comfort level with my brother and have him follow all the details closely.

But from what i have been reading on VJ, it seems like VSC is only getting slower and slower with our cases and i really shouldn't expect my package until early January.

Thank you for those time lines. I couldn’t find them on my own. However; I think the reason their NOA2’s came so quickly was because their consulates is Canada. I have heard that Canada and U.K. usually get preferences over everyone else. They usually are the fastest cases solved. I am not surprised to see them move so fast.
