    ~Dream~Love~ I think you should wait one more week. I am sure you will get it next week. If not, just email/call the Embassy & ask them to resend it. And Yes K3 requirment forms r pretty much the same. Have them ready :thumbs:

    b4byd09No website is not gonna send the form automatically. You or you SO need to print this form & make sure you print DS156 twice & also print that barcode page. I went to my city library & got it notarized for free. Bank can also do it(for free). Court can do it(but dont think they will charge you 40$ lol. It will be more like 6 or 7$). They dont look at your bank account. If you have sufficient income. You can simply leave all asset portions of the affidavit blank. As long as your income meet 125% above poverty level, then you really dont need all that. I did send them all my Bank papers(just to be on safe side) like Bank verification letter & deposit and stuff. No, Employment letter & Paystubs are not for interview. You need to send em with your packet 3.5. Employment letter is a must thing IMO.

    I will give you that parents form wheneva I go home(later today). Print & fill out two copies. Send one with your packet 3.5 & the other with your SO interview(just to be on the safe side)

    Do we have to get DS156 notorized? The form's instrustions didn't require it.

    Family,

    I have more news, :reading: I called the State department this morning and spoke to a visa specialist. She told me that our case has arrived at Islamabad embassy and they have already posted our packet 3. :dance:

    Suddenly, I am falling behind schedule. :bonk: We are not ready with our paper work. I guess that's a good problem to have rather then waiting for the stupid packet.

    Hello family, :devil:

    simply wanted to inform you that last night when i arrived home, I had 2 letter of a mirror image waiting for me. :wacko: These were from NVC, simply notifying that they have recieved my case and will forward it to islamabad in a week.

    I hope all is well with the rest of you. Those who haven't recieved your NOA2's yet. I want you to know, i am right their with you and i am keeping you in my prayers. I really hope you guys get your NOA2's soon.

    Ok I can finally stop thinking bad thoughts about all you guys you got approved before us......cause its.....Peanut Butter Jelly Time Peanut Butter Jelly time!!!!

    I checked yesterday at about 3pm and it just updated the date.....then I got an email at 5:45pm from CRIS saying approval notice sent.....So Chicka Chicka yeah! :dance:

    Congrats!!! :dance::dance::dance:

    Ok guys how can I find out if the consulate has received our case from NVC. :unsure:

    Just got back from a trip to Toronto tonight (for work), and went on Igor's list to see who'd been approved. Noticed Harsh -- Also from NJ -- got their approval today so went onto the USCIS website and we got ours too! YAYYYYYY!

    Now the tedious work of filling out all those forms begins! One thing i"m a little annoyed at myself at is that I didn't make a copy of the package I sent to the VSC. Hopefully this won't be too big a deal.... Not sure if I should try to pull all my stuff together again -- but won't they actually have that at the embassy for the interview?

    I hope the rest of you get your NOA2s soon..because it gets exciting and things seem to get better..at least I hope so. I'm telling myself not to be too happy since anything can happen :unsure:

    I must agree with you on this. The grass gets greener after the NOA2's, The waiting deadlines get shorter and shorter, Plus you get busy with collecting more paperwork.

    I wish all my August family the very best :thumbs: and i really pray that everyone who is left, recieve their NOA2's by the end of this week. :innocent:

    And all the vermont filers if you don't get it by the end of this week, don't feel bad because the weather has been really crazy out here for VCS, so hang in there.

    12-09-2008 Chris had an interview with USICS, Forgot to ask for NOA1 *headdesk* found out that his security clearance is messing with their system and so our case has been delayed and forwarded to the US department of defence.

    Chris: what is meant by "messing with their system" please...if I may know....thanks

    Chris's security Clearnce is higher then USCIS is allowed to look at so they couldnt get the background checks done on him they needed.....

    Chris never made it to USCIS today either though, Snow meant they closed for the day. If this is the case in DC all of a sudden I see why VSC is taking so long at things in comparison to CSC...

    What??? :huh: they are closed today??? :o It was not that bad of a snow. <_< I came to work, :crying: even the fedreal government is open.

    I am really surprised to hear this.

    My Fiancé got his package 3 and they put a note saying they need my taxes with notarized affidavit, so that's exactly what I am doing FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS!.

    It will snow tomorrow here in NJ. :huh:

    wait a second, i just remembered. Chris is going to D.C. office today. last tueday didn't work for him. I really hope he has good news today. The weather has been pretty bad all day today but not bad enough to stop the business. You will hear from him soon.
