Awesome. How exciting. That's where we tied the knot. We went to the Graceland Wedding Chapel. It was so much fun and absolutely no stress. We do plan to do something with our huge family but have to save more for something like that. After all these visa fees we just don't have the money to make a huge deal. We just wanted to be together as soon as possible. I am going to be in LV in October also. Hopefully with my sweetie. Anyhow, Congratulations!!!! Vegas weddings are soooo much fun.

We are here for 6 months. And we are not alone... Good luck! Hopefully you won't have to wait that long.
Same here. I think we are at 83 days and not one touch. Well we had one but I think that is only adding our 129f. Keep up the hope.

I am just curious if the information at the bottom of the timelines have been accurate for people. My timeline info says that my K3 should be ajudicated between September 7 and 19th and that my I-130 should be ajudicated between August 30th and September 13th. The dates keep moving up which I am assuming is a good thing, but are these really realistic and have they worked for most people? I keep getting my hopes up but no touches on my case since July 23rd. I know that they are estimates but have those dates worked for anyone?

So...this has brought up a good question. We have applied for both a US spouse visa and an Aussie visa. because We have also applied for an Australian visa so that we can count our 2 year time at the same time because at some point we would like to live there as well. Especially if we ever have children. Is it legal to apply for both? I guess I always assumed that since they were different governments, it would be fine. Does anyone know?
I have agreed to pay for everything having to do with my Aussie visa and he has paid everything for his US visa. I would say that we split everything 50/50 but if he was from a country that was not as lucky to get the income as the both of us, I would most definately pay for him. I could never stand to be without him which is why we want to get both visas. We don't ever want to be apart again. Money or not, I would pay. We are both responsible for each other.

Yes. That was extremely helpful. Thanks. I started thinking that we had to pay another $1000 once our CR1 was approved. Thanks for the clarification.

Now I am confused. I didn't realize that there was a fee with an AOS from a K3 to a CR1. So if you get granted a K3 then you have to pay the $1000 fee for an AOS to a CR1? I thought it automatically adjusted from a K3 to a CR1 once the CR1 was approved. What the difference between a CR1 and IR1?

Yeaaaa!!! Congratulations! Fire your lawyer immeadiately. It almost seems as if he stalled it longer.

Do they really update the website for each individual case as soon as they touch it? Or do people typically get letters before the site is updated?
