this is the first time that we are going to celebrate his birthday together so i would like to make it special. You see, i just got here last May 09 and i dont have job and i dont know how to drive yet.

i was thinking of making him a cake but in all honesty, this is going to be my first time to bake a cake,if ever (so i doubt if i can nail it) plus with the ingredients im sure i will still ask some money from him.

so im asking all your suggestions my friends for a bday gift

from what i observed usually the parking here are more slant or forward..they say its not really necessary for the parallel parking (they say).

i still am practicing driving..when we go out,i always do the backing out from the garage..once you get used with backing out..forward driving will be fine

can we process the AOS even if my vaccine is not yet completed? I had my first shot before i got here such as Tdap,HPV and MMR when i had my medical back in Phils or should we finish the vaccination then we can process the AOS?

As of 24 hours ago (last update I saw on the news), 68 in Mexico had died from what they believe is the swine flu, with another 2,000 or so infected (again, presumably swine flu). In the US, only a couple dozen or so were believed to have it. Considering the populations, this is currently very small for both countries. But it is causing concern because it has evidence of spread person-to-person. I live in a border state (Texas) and I'm not personally concerned about it (yet, anyway). The media has been reporting it because they all want to break a hot story and not be accused of not alerting the public. Border states would be more likely to be affected (Texas, Arizona, California, New Mexico). What state will you reside?
