scenario:

while the wife is looking for something in the mall the husband saw some filipinas who were talking in our dialect. the hubby smiled at them and passed by and so the wife followed the husband and smiled at them as well.

Filipina: Nurse ka ba?

Wife: Hindi po. Bakit?

Filipina: Asawa mo puti?

Wife: opo.

Filipina: Okay..Sige..Bye..

i have a friend who would like to know more about canadian immigration. I have searched in vj about this but i cant find any topic or maybe i was not trying so hard.

anyway, going back to my question.. after marrying with a canadian..what are the papers needed for them to start with the visa process?

Because of the recent terrorist attack, expect that it will be more strict than before. You dont have to be nervous upon arrival coz basically all they are going to ask is about you and your purpose of being here, which of course is to be with our fiance.

when i got here it was spring but coming from a hot country even if its 50-60F is already cold..i was always shivering..then came summer which was really,really hot that we even have a temp of 100F..

now its winter, it is really cold and on top of that, i have to wear lots of clothes which makes it heavier and sometimes i can breathe. oh well, if i dont wear lots of clothes, i will be freezing..hehehhe

Anybody that applied for a SSN, how long did it take to get it in the mail? I know it's about two weeks or so but some get it early. 3-5 days the earliest.

hi Djohn, i got my ssn after a month because i applied in my married name already which they have to verify first in their database. The guy who catered me said that it will take 3 months but i got mine after a month..

others, got theirs less than a week though
