Mom arrived in the US from philippines last feb and awaiting for the GC to arrive. However, we received a letter from USCIS today and stated that we need to pay $220.  Is this applicable to all?

'my mom went through the sputum culture and she is goinf back there at lukes tomorrow. should i schedule her interview or wait for it? when my sister called shes only due for vaccinations and after they will release the result

my mother did her sputum test last week and today was the pulmonary evaluation. Thank God its negative and we are just waiting for the culture which is after 2 months.

During the evaluation she was told that when the result comes back, we have to schedule the interview by calling the embassy. is this true? I know for sure that slec reschedule the interview or did this change already?

the police clearance is only good for 6 months

in our police clearance, i was confused about the expiration date. i know its only valid for 6 months, however, when i read my moms police clearance, there were 2 dates showing, the first one is the top right corner and the 2nd is on bottom left where it said issued on.

i asked my mom about it and she said the date on the bottom left is the cedula. Which date should we start counting till the expiration the top right or bottom left?

i864 is for the sponsor/petitioner, and the i864A is for the his or her household member

if the petitioner doesn't make enough, the household member can combine income in order to complete the poverty guidelines

why do you ask?

im filing the affidavit of support for my mom now and just want to make sure that i am filing the right one. since me and my husband filed jointly last yr does he still need to file i 864a even though i made above the poverty guideline?

additional question for this; if the wife (petitioner)is making above the poverty guideline. do we still need to use the spouse's income? hence, the i864a? thank you

i received the welcome letter from NVC and i have the invoice # and case #. after receiving this do i need to fill up the ds 261 already? if so, for the principal applicant's name, is it going to be my name or my beneficiary (who is mom)

You send originals of those. If it is expired by the time u get an interview, then u'll have a get another one for the interview. Because I know some countries police clearance expire.
