    hey everyone. new year new beginnings! :)

    i am home sick. serious side effects of the antibiotics i am taking. i want to stop taking it already :(

    MQ & Brian and Dona: it's great that you're finally at the final stages of your NVC journey. i hope you get case complete in a week :thumbs:

    andrea: our interview is next month, i am nervous : :unsure: what are the documents you are having your hubby bring with him to the embassy? i am thinking the copies of the whole IV and AOS package, passport photos, evidence (pictures together and with family, phone bills, YMs chat logs, skype call logs) what else am i forgetting?

    it took us a while to decide how to put my name on the forms. i have two first names. but then we decided to just do it the philippine way:

    First Name: Abbie Z****

    Middle Name: ** (my dad's last name)

    Last Name: ******** (my hubby's last name)

    didnt encounter problems with USCIS and NVC so far. but i remember my friend telling me she had to drop her 2nd first name because of the confusion too :lol:

    Police Clearance from where? There's no need to bring it to the embassy if you already submitted it to NVC, you can bring a photocopy of it though, if you want. I had all the photocopies of my NVC documents when I was interviewed. I'm not sure about the AKA on Police Clearance in Philippines. I had mine with my married name and it looked like this:

    First name + Initial of my maiden surname + married name and other details (it's Quezon City PC)

    ..there was no AKA and I was not questioned about it. They're more particular on NBI and you have the right one.

    oh thats great :) *whew* police clearance from laguna. when i got my clearance i asked for 2 copies :) thanks beth. seems like our police clearance are the same ... :D

    OMG!! Abbie!! That is great!! Hmm now everyone is getting interviews that got case complete after me...

    I think I am going to have to call for sure.. :unsure::blush:

    GRRRRRR!!! I called and again they haven't scheduled the interviews for Egypt yet!!! :angry::angry:

    my hubby texted me to go check my email. he said i have a very important email from NVC. i wasnt sure what it was gonna be. maybe a letter saying case complete or the interview. when i saw it i was in shock and couldnt believe it. i was blinking and reading the letter over and over :blush::lol:

    dont worry andrea. you will get yours soon. i guess embassy here in manila are booking the interviews as soon as they come so they can have a long weekend in peace :) without pending stuff to do :)

    this makes me wonder about the police clearance again though. do i still need to bring it in the embassy? i mean i asked for another copy of that and on the AKA part they just put my first name and nothing else....

    i dont understand ... which AKA part? will i have a prob with mine? i mean my NBI clearance is in my married name now like this:

    FATHERS LAST NAME de HUBBYS LAST NAME, FIRST NAME y MOTHERS MAIDEN NAME

    they just put the "de" and "y"

    you are doing good :thumbs: but dont forget to include your 2 pcs 2x2 pictures with white background (write case number, name and date of birth at the back) also i provided photocopies of the MC, BC and police certificates just in case :)
