I wonder if you know this...when i call NVC the AVR says they are waiting for the Petitioner Biographic Information....i dont know what that means...my husband sent AOS and IV bill package the last Thuesday.

Sometimes the AVR will generate that message if both packages are not scanned at the same time. I wouldn't worry about it give it a day or2 then call again or just call and speak to an operator they will tell you if both have been scanned and what they are waiting for if anything.

Most Embassy s use snail mail.

You will know at the interview of the results. She will be given a slip (pink- approved) white or blue will have explanation on it. If they tell her to p[ay the Air21 fee she is approved.

You need to review the short cuts for NVC on the wiki. It explains the NVC process for CR-1 process and i would suggest gathering the documents she needs now. the petitioner documents are not included in the DS-230 that is about the beneficiary. The petitioner documents are part of the AOS (I-864) for the NVC process. The DS-3032 can be done by email once you have the NVC case number. Start studying the posts on this website and the flowchart and short cuts on the wiki. BEST ADVICE- GET INVOLVED AND INFORMED! You definitely want to finish the IR-1 and use that visa it is so much less expensive to do the IR-1 in the long run and you are not that far from completing that process. A 10yr immigrant visa would much better than a 2 yr conditional non- immigrant visa. Really consider this before you take the K-3. the difference is so vast I can't imagine there is much of a choice involved but that's just my opinion. Good Luck and hope everything works out.

Hi all. Does anybody have an idea or had previous experience like mine when you had chest xray 2 weeks before your medical? I did not know that I could have medical anytime the NOA2 is out. I had fever 2 weeks ago and nodule in my left breast and I had to undergo breast ultrasound and chest xray. I only received my appointment letter a few days ago. I am now scheduled to have my medical this week, only 2 weeks from my previous xray, which was taken in another reputable hospital but not SLMC. Does anybody had the same experience? Were you asked to have another chest x ray?

forever green Mona is at her medical now and has the same situation as you. She had an xray 2 weeks ago and took her result with her as well as the X-ray. When she calls me tonight I'll ask her if they made her do another one and post for you if they did.

I just want to ask if the petitioner ever gets a call from either the service center or the NVC or the US consulate in the beneficiay's country?

This is because I want to get my number changed which I submitted in the I-129f form.

Has anyone ever got a call regarding anything?Also,we got our NOA2 in february and also a letter from NVC.

Please help.Any help is deeply appreciated.

NOPE. I didn't receive any call either from either agency just the e-mail and the snail mail. You can write them letter as of changing ur number for what you already applied for and have it registered so you know they received it by someone in the receiving ends. Because while I was waiting for the NOA2 at the time, I submitted changed of address of my wife 2x but never received any response from them. When NVC finally working with my case ( GLAD IS COMPLETED NOW) they still have my old address there for my wife and her cell phone. Her cell [phone was stolen in the Philippines, mandurukot... pick pocketing thieves, all she know she was buying bread and she got bumped.

MMW, I went and took a chance and bought ticket for my wife. But then my wife told me that lady will sell the ticket to her for 100 dlrs LESS for what I paid for. Its the cheapest ticket I can find out of Cebu in May...@ EXPEDIA or any sites for airfare! I guess it wont hurt to bargain..oh well she got ticket NOW asnd I hope there is no more hiccup in USEM! Wish me luck!!! And of course her..she is the one going to do the interview, my side was completed!

The only other document you need to take if you have it is history of your shot record but if you don't have it don't worry they will just give all the ones they think you need.

just got off the phone with the wife, day one is finished, so far so good. As far as setting the appointment, you will be the one to do it. It is first come first serve basis. All you need is your interview letter or NOA-2 and passport, plus 2 photos 2x2. and any records of shot history you might have etc.
