Application Type: I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

    Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On February 24, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

  2. hi xpa0905... welcome to the thread.... hopefully we ll be celebrating soon!

so what paperwork you have in hand princess?

as i am the beneficiary i printed out ds-230 and ds-3032 so when i get an approval it will be easy for me to file them....i printed out the Lingche's nvc shortcut to study this process very well, for my police certificate and my birth certificate i can't get them now, i have to wait until i get an approval as they have an expiration date...for my husband his documents are ready, he also printed out I-864Z and lingche's nvc shortcut, only one is missing..........AN APPROVAL!!!! :innocent:

thats good.... are you going to choose your husband as the Agent? im still not sure about that yet sine my husband is deployed and his mail take forever to get there.... i didnt know what to answer to these questions on the ds230:

21b. Person(s) named in 14 and 19 who will follow you to the United States at a later date.

21a. Person(s) named in 14 and 19 who will accompany you to the United States now.

Person named in 14 is my husband and he will be in the States already....he wont be accompnaying me and i have no one else to follow me.... shall my answer be N/A?

yes i'm going to choose my husband to be the agent, maybe you can choose someone else as an agent....

concerning the answers i think none is the suitable answer

  3. Hi! I'm a january filer too! Please keep me in the loop also.

welcome to this thread and hope we will get all an approval soon

Thanks, Princess. By the way, I keep coming across Lingche's so-called shortcut, could you please tell me what this is? :)

here is the link to it ; it is really useful.....

  5. hey.. try to get all the paperwork necessary for NVC! dont waste your time on waiting! it will keep you busy!

Today i am going to apply for the police certificate and birth cert.

Instead of reding newspapers I read LingChe's NVC shortcut :) haha :)

sometimes i think that my approval was just a mistake :(

everything will be fine! you will see :)

why you say that??? your approval is the best thing that can happen, i wish i was in your place, maybe your paperwork was not ready but it's not a big deal, as long as you have your approval anything else is easy to handle; you can prepare your paperwork easily and lingche's nvc shortcut is definitely very useful to fly through NVC....

that is what you really need to know princess!! lets pray that we ll get our approval soon!! :)

yeah let's pray, yesterday i saw someone here who got an approval with a noa1 of 31 december so maybe our approval is coming

  6. yes... it was so unexpected that i couldnt believe that!

I am reading linche's NVC shortcut! and I am so lost :)

I just read that one girl finished NVC in 11 days!!! oh god! :)

    isnt it amazing!?

i also feel lost when i read NVC shortcuts, too many things, i'm trying to understand this step very well to finish it quickly; if you have all your papers ready, you can finish it quickly, just follow the shortcuts !!!!

  7. Well if you're from Morocco, your chances of getting put into AP are like 99% anyway...so in the end, the month or two you saved aren't going to make a difference

it can be true for moroccan husbands but i've never heard of a moroccan wife put into AP; If approved the visa is issued the following day after the interview or within a week  my husband is USC and i'm moroccan

  8. ONLY during the petiton approvals When you get to the Visa part the rep told me it could take 6-12 months longer than the K-3.

who said that???? check the timelines of VJ members and you will see the difference, it's not a big time difference and with shortcuts available in vj you can finish with NVC very quickly; compare your timeline with a vj member who filed only I130 and with same NOA1 date as yours, they might be already approved and probably out of NVC and you are still waiting for an approval ......wish you good luck and an approval soon

  9. January filers, can you check your status online or not yet??? I can't :crying:

    hey buddies,

we filed my I-130 January 6th and we found out that the NOA1 was dated 16th January since we never got the hard copy. and yes Princess, I did check it just now before i opened VJ.

Good Luck to All January filers... may God be with Us and help all of us!!

Lucky you!!!! i think the problem is in vermont center, they are not updating their system

i dont consider myself lucky.... just tracking that nearly everyone can do right? :) i had seen in other threads that they are sending VSC cases to CSC... dont know about the latest filers though

not everyone can track his case; i can't and it's unfair :crying: ; i don't know what's going on; even people who filed in february in vermont center could check their status online and we can't.....what if we have a wrong reciept number????

I check USCIS.GOV every damn day :) still nothing.... i am trying to be patient but its so hard guys!

I am so scared that we won't get approval from them....so scared!!!

But i have faith in them as well...

    gosh....

good luck to all of us!

keep hope, i saw a case filed in january 2009 and already with a noa2!!!!! so everything is possible

    We've just got NOA1.

And now I cant wait to get NOA2.

I miss my husband in Tennessie too much.

thankyou, i'm ready to be on hold as long as i can talk to an operator

I suggest looking over the guide for going through NCIS I think it was Mimche's guide? we have an entire thread where we all put in our tips and suggestions and what worked and didn't.

    Good luck

thankyou rajaa; i tried to look at nimche's guide but couldn't find where he talks about tips to call USCIS
