  1. Did you guys have your I-134 notarized? Is it really necessary? Some VJs are posting that it is not needed. It's quite a hassle to do it so we want to make sure it is really needed before asking him to drive a long way to get this done. He has already prepared the tax transcript from IRS, Employment Letter, and Pay stubs. Thanks!

Good luck to all those who had or are having their interview soon.

My fiance sent me the I-134 notarized.... I think it's necessary.

  3. RDDixon and I set our medical exam nov. 11.

We arrive in Manila nov.10 in the morning. So we decided to start our medical exam in the afternoon.

We a lot of waiting, we finished around 9 in the evening. We were told to go back in the afternoon.

We go back in the afternoon around 1 and another 5 hours waiting just to take a shot.

I got 3 shots of different vaccines and rddixon got only 2 because she already experience chicken fox..

after the vaccine we go home (that's 6pm) because there's a lot of people that's ahead of us waiting for the result to be release. We go back around 7 and got our result after 15 minutes we arrived.

Though we had a lot of waiting, i still advice to have start your medical exam in the afternoon because it not much crowded. And also some who had their medical exam in the morning that we have talked says that it's more waiting time in the morning than in the afternoon.

  4. ok... thanks for the info...

The packet that you are referring to is simply a one page letter with your case number and instructions on how to proceed.

I tried to schedule Izel's interview before she received the letter and I was unable to because the paperwork had not arrived and be processed by the Manila Embassy. I highly recommend that you wait for the letter otherwise you will be spending money needlessly to call the embassy only to have them tell you they can't do anything. If you have waited 4 or 5 weeks after your NOA2 and still have not received the letter, then it is time to start calling and find out what has happened.

  7. There are so many things I am most thankful in our stay in Manila... getting the chance to bond with my kids, passing the medical and interview, meeting fellow vjers, the overwhelming influx of moral support and prayers not only from my fellow vjers in the Philippine forum but also from fellow january filers and other vjer from other countries whose friendship I have gained in the past months since filing I-129F.

And most importantly, I bring back all the honor and glory to God who has never failed me. I have failed Him so many times but he has remained awesomely faithful. Truly "My Life is in You Lord" (F)

    Am happy for you!

    God bless!

Hope and pray that i'll also have smooth processing with you...
