Huh? 20 business days for the DS-3032?? really?
I was told from 5 -10 business days for the DS-261 to get approved and I am already feeling like I am waiting for an eternity
Hopefully it doesn't take that long!
I didn't take her words sersiously. You bet, 20 days seems forever. Hopefully tomorrow is our day..(",)

can i use this letter to show to st Lukes?

Dear Principal Applicant:
The immigrant visa petition recently filed on your behalf is now eligible for further processing at the
National Visa Center (NVC). You will need the following identification numbers to carry out the next
steps in the immigration process:
Your NVC Case Number:
Your Invoice I.D. Number:
Your Beneficiary I.D. Number:
Keep this letter in a safe place.
You will need the identification numbers again during the immigration process.
The first stage of visa processing is to establish communication with the NVC by registering an agent
and your agent's contact information with the NVC. Your agent is a person you choose to receive
communications from the NVC on your behalf. You may act as your own agent, or you may choose your
petitioner, a family member, a friend, an attorney, an immigrant assistance professional, or any other
person you trust to represent you.
If you decide to register another person as your agent, the NVC strongly recommends choosing a person
with e-mail capability and a postal mailing address in the U.S.A. because postal mail delivery can be
unreliable in some parts of the world. If you act as your own agent the NVC recommends e-mail as the
quickest and most efficient form of communication.

I'm also thinking for my mom to have an advance medical exam in the Philippines. Have you make an appointment for your mom? I just wanna make sure that this letter you've attached is enough to make an appointment for medical exam. I would be grateful to hear from you. I'm so excited to bring my mom here..(",)
Good luck for our moms journey!

We are in the same boat DenMar_S,I completed the DS-261 (the same as Ds3032) the same day as you sent yours, and I'm still waiting for an approval e-mail
*sigh*
Monday is President's day so I think unfortunately for us, it's a holiday and NVC will be closed
Hopefully by tuesday we get something!!!!
Good luck and keep us updated!
i'll keep eye on you..
hopefully tuesday is our day..
Good luck!
-
I know, even three days seems like an eternity.
But I bet when Tuesday rolls around you'll havea DS3032 acceptance sitting in your inbox! Positive thoughts!
thanks..

Woke up to a DS3032 approval email and a disappeared (aka processing) IV bill.
So happy to get that out of the way before the long holiday weekend!
Congratz!
I emailed my DS3032 the next day you send yours, I wish Monday is not a holiday... 3 days is too long to wait for approval email..
-
I called NVC three days in a row and all I get is a busy tone.
(In particular, I called Telephone number: (603) 334-0700.)
Is anyone else getting a busy tone consistently like this?
I got a busy tone too using my cellphone. But when i try to call over the landline, it went through..
-
trust me soemtimes we get to a point in this process that we forget even answers we have provided others with because it now applies to us and we don't want to mess up.
if the question specifies "intending immigrant" then who is that. since you are the petitioner, it cannot be you .
Hahahah! You're right!!!
I figure it out though.... I just mailed it, hope to finish all these..(",)
-
It sound silly but I'm confused..
Question on Form 1-864A Item 13. "...support on behalf of the following _____ named intending immigrants.." ? - what do i suppose to write on the blank if i only apply for my mom, 13.a.?
second question on the same form Item 15. " ...of support on behalf of the above ______ named intending immigrant: - do i suppose to write my name or my mom's name or 13.a.?
Thanks!
-
I think this is one of the rare cases where you'd use I-864A since you and your husband live in the same house and are on the same taxes...
Thanks! have to do that...
-
Sorry, it was an after your here need. I will delete it if needed to avoid confusion.
I am a Pediatric Nurse, and she is a RN in the Philippines. The papers are not needed for the processing of anything. I just wanted to mention, that if you or your spouse may want to bring prior work information from a current employer, with them to the new country, so they will have it with them to help get employment. Most want a previos employment history. I was puutting it out there, not to confuse but to give the idea to help others. (Maybe for a new topic) Sorry. I copied and pasted a lit of what she said she needed before she leaves the country, and while she has access to the information.
When I moved here, I brought with me my school records (MS & BS school transcript), employment letter & recommendation from my previous employer (i got the recommendation letter from the governor since i was working in the provincial office - that makes a good impression to where i applied). Maybe she'll try to do that too so that when she applied job here she has all the record to show.

I'm petitioning for my mom...
Question on AOS, I stop from working since last year when i had my baby. How will I do the AOS, will my husband & I are filing up I-864? or I'll file I-864 and my husband will fill up I-864A?
another question, am i going to attached our tax 2009, 2010 & 2011 on both I-864 forms since we filed our tax jointly or just my husband?
thanks!
-
They reply to the email you sent.
I see...
thanks Saylin!

Hi Guys! Does the NVC send an email that they received the DS3032? Just wondering... Can't wait for the next step...
-
Guys mine just got invoiced! You might want to go check yours!!
I get so excited every time we move even half an inch closer to the end of this tiring process.
This made my whole day!!
Mine too!
-
Same thing happened to me and DenMar_S. Saylin JUST answered this question in post #298.
Hopefully we'll all be able to pay later this week!
Saylin is right!
I check the payment portal and haven't change yet.. so not to worry knowing that we're on the same boat Sunflower..(",)

*husband
You know, I checked at least four different sites outlining the NVC process before sending the email, and none of them said to attach it... but now, after I've sent it (naturally), I'm seeing some people mention scanning the actual form and sending it along with the email format mentioned in the first post.
I'm not sure if I was supposed to attach it and am doomed for a denial, or am just being paranoid.
sorry, husband i mean..
i guess nothing hurts if we're going to attached the formed signed by the beneficiary... don't worry, that's technical error (surely, they'll understand we're all excited to finish the process).. maybe it's not a bad idea if you're going to send them again from your husband's email...
anybody, advice please...

I searched the first two post and skimmed the FAQ before posting this, so sorry if this info is actually there and I somehow missed it.
Just two quick questions!
1. I accidentally sent the DS3032 from MY email address instead of my husband's. When I got my case numbers, I gave NVC both of our email address, but in the FAQ it says you should send it from the beneficiary's email. Could this result in a denial and subsequent resend?
2. The day I got my IIN, I signed onto the payment portal to see if my AOS bill had been invoiced (wishful thinking, I know). Both bills were there with the "not invoiced" status. However, yesterday morning I got back on and the AOS bill had just vanished. The IV info is still there (my husband's name, "not invoiced", etc), but the AOS info was just gone. I assumed this was because it was being processed, but it's been the same all day today, too. Am I right in thinking this just means the bill is about to be invoiced?
Thanks for any info.
We're on the same boat. My AOS bill was gone too, it was there yesterday with the same status as yours.. Hopefully it will be ready later today or tomorrow...
By the way, when you send the DS3032, did you attached the form which your wife has to sign?
I'm kind of confused if I have to attached the form so that I don't need to file.. If anybody has an idea, please guide me..
Thanks..
-
Absolutely ! If you can see it in the NVC Payment Portal, PAY IT !
Thanks! Hope payment portal will ready tomorrow..
-
I've got my case number & IIN today (after 13 days of every other day calling the NVC since they received the case...
Question: Can I pay the AOS even though I haven't receive the letter or email from NVC? thanks ahead for the replies...(",)
-
yes I put them each in a separate transparent envelop divider with their cover sheet in front of them and then placed both packages in THE SAME envelop. I did the same thing when i filed for my mom two years agao. For me that saves money and also reduces the chances of false checklist for one or the other. I also kind of think it gets my file processed faster( my opinion only).
that sounds smart! really saves couple of $$$ especially i'm planning to ship overnight...
thanks!

paper DS3032 may stall your case unless u r not in any hurry then thats fine.
hi! i'm also applying for my mom. it got my NOA 2 last January 11, '13. And still waiting for the case ###..
iwas looking at your timeline, you sent the AOS & IV at the same time? is that the same packet?
thanks ahead for reply!

Did the SLEC accept it?
