  1. I hope every one else is having a good time enjoying their approvals.. CAITYROSE! Yours is on its way!! I'm crossing my fingers for you! Are there any other marchies left?????????????????? It seems like they covered a BUNCh of them between last week and this week.

    (F)

    PS- I am such a rambler! :P

Yep, some Marchies left =(....hoping and praying I get a touch soon!!!

    Amy (L) David

    P.S what is NVC? lol

    National Visa Center

    Good luck to you!!!!!!!!

  2. Maria--I don't know what the 18 days at Juarez Consulate means (where they get that data), but the point it--IT'S FASTER THAN EVERYBODY. Yipee for you. I looked at some timelines and some California to NVC took a week to get there. Others took several weeks. Wait until next Wednesday and call the NVC. They are open until 9 pm your time to answer the phone

NVC-603-334-0700, press 1 for English, press 5 to talk to a person.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM (EST).

Best time to call is 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM to 12:00 PM.(Eastern time)

Don't enter any case numbers into their automated system because K1s aren't ever put in that system. They are just briefly passing through there on the way to the foreign Embassy. You have to talk to a live person. You'll get busy signal alot or the menu robot will keep bumping you about saying there's too many calls. Just hang up and try in 15 min.

    Questions to ask the person:

    1. Have you received my K1 petition from the USCIS? (You tell them the receipt number from your NOA1- WACxxxxxxx. They will ask your name, Jorge's name and both birthdates to verify you.)

    2. (If they have it) What date did you receive it and what date did it get sent to the Embassy? (If they haven't sent it out yet, you can call back next day to see if it's gone.)

    3. Can you tell me my new case number? (That's your new Dept of State and Embassy file number. Mine started with LND for London, so I guess yours might be RDJxxxxxxxxx) You will get a letter from the NVC later with that number.

Everybody else on this thread, copy and paste this info somewhere in your notes so you'll have it when your NOA2 comes through.

It doesn't look like he has to wait for an appointment. If you look up there with the Embassy info menu at the top of the page you can find reviews of what people did at their interview. Be sure you look for K1 people, not CR1. Read what they had to say. I read a few and some were rambling, but I got the idea that you don't have to wait for an appointment, but you could wait 8 hours on the day you show up. I didn't take much time to understand them, so you might can figure a few things out if you read carefully.

Yes, Nick's interview is next Tuesday! Very exciting to have gotten this far. Remember our old group on the map I made? Bex already has a visa. Aleena from Romania is on a plane right now to the USA. The waiting doesn't seem so bad now that it's almost done, but we were crazy before NOA2. Good luck figuring your stuff out.

Thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Much for your help Nich Nick! Jorge was about to explode when i told him that he didn't need to wait for an interview date. I'm hoping the shipping of the packets go by quickly! it just gets better and better.

I just got a bill from the clinic for 126.54 :crying: I don't want to pay it! :P I am still in shock that we were approved yesterday. I keep checking to make sure that it is for real!

Josh- have you tried calling the NVC recently? I think you mentioned earlier that they still havent received your packet. Could it be that you are doing the automated dialing rather than actually speaking to a person? Nich-nick mentioned earlier that it is better to actually ask SOMEONE about the case... :)

I sure hope Mexico is as fast as the graph shows. I would LOVE to have my honey bunz here with me !!!!! OMG I am still in shock  oh another thing, jorge finally got his package of e-mails/phone bills and stuff. YAY took 1 1/2 weeks.

I hope every one else is having a good time enjoying their approvals.. CAITYROSE! Yours is on its way!! I'm crossing my fingers for you! Are there any other marchies left?????????????????? It seems like they covered a BUNCh of them between last week and this week.

  3. BINGO! Maria

    http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/immigr...visa-forms.html

You send Jorge the Affidavit of Support Form I-134 with proofs of income like 2007 tax transcript (free from the IRS), recent pay stubs, letter from employer.

    No police certificate from you.

He probably doesn't need your birth certificate. Read those reviews from the embassy and see if anybody had to show one besides the person interviewed. You can order another one...certified copy if your dad doesn't want you to send the one you have. Birth certificates are always available, but I don't know the process in WA. I sent mine just in case.

Read this. You are on Step 4, the red one. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...amp;page=k1flow

Juarez graph is on this page. Short processing time! http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...e-k1-historical

You'll calm down eventually and figure all this out. Enjoy the moment and the party :dance::dance::dance:

You are ALWAYS very helpful. And i greatly appreciate your help. I have some questions after that... the 18 day wait, is that for NVC to send it to the embassy? Or is it for CSC to send it to NVC? I'm not sure if you have an answer to this...but it looks like he doesn't need an interview appointment? Is that correct? Does that mean that as soon as they recieve his completed packet 3 he can go in to Juarez? Or do we still need to have an actual date? Every embassy is different. I have read some other peoples' experiences and it looks like they're walk-in....but I wonder if it's a walk in on a specific date range or what not.

Nick- it also looks like your interview is quickly approaching. OMG I bet you are just excited like a bumble bee! Good luck on that!! Soon you will be with your love! :wow:

Thanks again for your help. :star:

  4. You guys...I have some questions. Now that we are approved, the rest is a big blurr to me. I REALLy don't want to send my Birth Cert...OK My dad told me that I can take a copy of it and have it notarized? I work at a bank, so i have easy access to a notary...my boss :D But i hope that i can do that. Let's see....

NICK! I'm so glad you came in here! Yes, i was actually browsing through this website and found that link. It is quite helpful! I'm starting to get ancy! I want everything so quickly :lol: Do I also have to send Jorge a police certificate of my own? IT's going to be blank page :P AND about that link.. where do I find the CDJ 402 form?

Maybe someone has an answer?--- How much longer is average for Juarez to send Jorge his Packet 3? I WANT MY APARTMENT :P

I guess I'm going ahead of myself....

    :P:P

  5. It's my big boss' birthday

I'm so glad you got yours too!! OMG I'm still in schock. Jorge is speechless. We're on the phone saying "i can't believe it ooh my God jeez. wow that was fast"... :bonk: lol it's funny. I am so excited

I called my fiance in London and it was 2am. He did not answer any of his mobile telephones...he did not answer his landline telephone....so I eventually just gave up and sent text messages to all of his phones, left voicemails, and forwarded the email notice to his email address. He is still sleeping like a baby, and I am running around the house (five hours behind from his time) acting like I am mentally imbalanced :)

So, for now, I have to share my joy with my VJ family and my family here (who are still awake). I can't wait until 2am my time, because he will be just arriving to his job in London. There is no way I will sleep tonight (or maybe I will have the best sleep that I have had in a long time).

Well, I'm going to find something to calm myself down with. Green tea and honey is my relaxation medication, so that is what I will do now. Life is Good!:dance::thumbs::thumbs:

I totally understand. I don't know what to do to calm down. I am shaking! And when I talk i'm like really fast! I thought i was thinking wishfully to get approvals this soon, but it came true! Wow.

I am kind of wondering what our next steps should be. .. ... I know there is 2 packets he gets (beneficiary) but also... I'm worried that I won't be able to have all paper work in to him in time... I don't know!

This was the worst part of it all. From now on it's going to be a breeze  It's the interview and medical and a plane ride! wee! wow.... it's amazing. God is amazing! This is amazing.

  6. Congrats to those who have been approved lately! As per my timeline, I rec'd my NOA1 on 3/10 and the last touch was 3/14. However, I just logged on now and I saw today's date!!!! I didn't get an email of approval, but I hope it's coming very soon. This morning I was #71 on Igor's list and now tonight I'm #68......so good luck vibes to all!!!

OOH Good luck to you!! I really wasn't expecting an approval today; i was thinking in about a week. I;ll cross my fingers for you!! :star:

  7. YAY! It looks like a good bunch of us got touched and approved today. Jorge doesn't believe me!! HE even had me send him the e-mail  we're both amazed!! I am so psyched! He went to a cafe and printed it because he just can't believe it either. WOW!

THanks everyone!! I am still going to stick around, of course. I have a lot left still. And i hope everybody else gets approved real soon.

  8. O MY GOD! I got a touch!! YAY!!

I'll check up on this site later, Lunch is over :P Have a good day everybody!

  9. Hey everyone,

I just got a call from my parents saying they recieved my hardcopy NOA2!!!! It is dated July 15th! But I have been checking my online status checker and have had no touches and no status change (it still says pending!). I go to school out of state but my permanent address is with my parents so they get all my mail... So just make sure you check your mailboxes, dont rely too much on the online status checker. Good luck guys!

    SWEET!!!

  10. Hello everybody. Good Monday. No touches yet. But I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. I went today to buy a baby gift for my good friend Jenny. She's having her first born in Sept. AWW Babies!

I spoke with Jorge last night, and he seems to be getting quite anxious and excited about getting approved soon. He even started to seperate the things he wants to give away from the things he wants to bring here. He's too cute. He talked with his mom about money and his process of getting the visa and things...Sounds like she is going to help him out a lot. Everything happens for a reason, and I met him for a reason.

Jost and Nathalie, what have you gone through since you got your NOA2? Have you called anyone or received anymore letters or anything? I'm curious.

    thanks everybody.

  11. Hi Im a shy Marchie who has just been watching to see where everyone else was and how long it was taking. It was good to see you all coping with the delays and distance, it really helped me deal. My soon to be wife and I met in college here in Montana, she had to go back to Japan after graduation, but we filed the 1 129 on march 17th.

The long story short is WE GOT APPROVED TODAY!!!!!!!!!!! She doesnt know yet, shes at work but Im so excited I just wanted to let everyone know.

So for the mid to late march filers, nows the time!!! Good luck everybody!

  12. Yes, Stay strong. Take it your anger out by typing, writting your thoughts, bike riding or even punching a punching bag!! That helps! Just try not to take it out on the CSC people...Even though you are right that they are very frustrating. I am very sorry that you have been waiting for so long. I don't get that whole security check thing. It's very scary to me. The worst part is that number only gives you general answers. I'm so sorry :( *HUGS FOR COMFORT*

  14. wow, hey everyone! i didn't even know this thread was here...i've been posting (sporadically) on another Mar/April filers board that is seriously neglected, hardly anyone posts there. anyway, i'm on the fence for Mar/April....sent our petition on March 27 but got our NOA1 on april 1, so i guess i'll hang out here with you guys. :)
