    Hi All,

    For somebody who the case complated between August 18th till August 31th 2008.

    I beleive that interview date will be assigned within this week ( 2nd week of September). Correct meif I am wrong.

    My case was complated on August 27th.

    How to check if our documents will be forwarded to the consulate where we will have interview.

    Please give advice,

    I cant get through to system without complete filling the informations.

    When my husband will receve the mail from NVC regarding interview , can I use this infor for medical check and vaccination or should I wait mail from embassy ?

    No interview date scheduled yet!!!!! Another day of agony... So sad!!!

    I don't think it's because Nicaragua embassy is busy, I think NVC is too slow and didn't sent a request on the second week of August when our case was completed, that's why they had to wait until September, let's hope that this time they'll do their job like they're suppossed to!

    Hi all,

    My case complated on August 27th , and interview date will be on Oct 29th ..too long.

    AVR system hasnt updated yet , my husband called to life operator, and they told him that documents had sent to embassy and interview date is available also.

    Did you check with life operator?

    Hello every body thanks GOD my wife got her visa today,our visa journey is completed and now it's time for the Happy journey living togther under one roof. I allready forgot about all the stress and time and hard work that we been through once she tolled me she got her visa, I want thank every body and wish all of you guys good luck and a fast completion for your visa journey.

    Here's here experince

    Interview date was at 9:00Am she got their 8:30AM

    At 9:00 she got in side some one gave her number like ID card

    About 1/2hour they called her name on the immgrants window and collected Her Medical,passport,and 2 photos he asked her mostly the same questions that the consular officer asked later.

    Then she waited for another 1hour ,and she was called again to another room where the consular is and asked her:

    Where you know your husband from?

    you ever been to USA?

    You ever been married?

    Do you have kids?

    Does your husband have kids?

    And that was it , he said Mabrouk(Congratulation)

    Note: all of the interview was in Arabic language.

    How can you track the package from NVC To the Foreign Embassy??

    Try not to worry if you aren't able to track the package. Its not a critical part of the process. You can always call the consulate and confirm that it was received. Depending on the country and how quickly they process papers, you may also be able to ask if packet 3 was mailed out to the beneficiary and the date for the interview.

    Hi ,

    I have tried but it didnt work .

    I am still figuring out, how..

    If you know the date the package was sent, then put in the tracking number of "EXP 04 JUN 2008A " but change the day and month to reflect the correct date. If you know the package was sent September 5, then enter "EXP 04 SEP 2008A". I would show the pick up date range as just a few days for example: 09/04/2008 - 09/09/08. I did not count the weekend.

    Using this method will not find YOUR particular package, but it will show packages that have left the NVC and shipped to your country. For those countries that the NVC ships many packages to, you will find it more difficult to know if you're package was mailed. My fiance is in Brazil so when I tracked our package, there was only one package sent to Brazil in a 3 day period so I assumed it was our package.

    Hi!

    The NVC is going to send my Package to de Embassy in the next days!!

    I read the Loto's Guide, but I do not understand:

    Final Step 2 – NVC Case Forwarding to the Foreign U.S Consulate

    Time: 7 to 10 days after above step

    Case is officially forwarded to the U.S Consulate by DHL. All your Originals/Certified copies submitted to NVC along with all your files are mailed to the consulate in this step.

    NVC mails out immigrant visa appointment letter to both the petitioner in the U.S and the beneficiary in the foreign country.

    How to track your valuable originals?

    Listen to NVC AVR message, it will clearly say “Your case is completed and forwarded to the embassy or consulate in XXX on MM/DD/YYYY…” Once you hear this message, immediately go to DHL website at http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef and track your shipment.

    For example, if AVR says your shipment date is 06/05/2008, NVC actually called DHL one day before this date to pick up the shipment. So your reference date is 06/04/2008. Then enter EXP 04 JUN 2008A as your reference in the above DHL website. Then scroll down to your consulate link.

    To be sure you can try a date range between 06/03/2008 to 06/06/2008 in the date range.

    Yes. I called: 9/8/08:no appt yet, 9/9/08: no appt yet, :crying::crying::angry::angry:

    I will be calling them until Friday but I will speak to a Rep on Friday. Did you call them?

    Happyinlove, you probably will have the interview date set for early Oct, looking at others who were completed mid Aug.

    I wonder why they wait almost 1 month to schedule, and then schedule 15-20 days ahead of the date, kind of close call.

    On the other had, last month I did see a lot of interviews scheduled 3rd week, even end of Aug some. And Roca was scheduled early Sept.

    So I am not really sure anymore. Operators told me too that they schedule on 2nd week, but does it mean they do not do it other times really?

    Hey guys.

    If i have only one birth certificate is the notarized copy is good enough? It will need translation regardless. So if i get a copy of my birth certificate and get it translated, and then get it notarized should that be enough? I don't think in my country we can get another original birth certificate.

    Also what they mean by certified documents? is there a difference between certified and notarized? Because I'm a little confused.

    In case of my birth certificate, I sent original birth certificate with original translation and the translation was not notarized but ( i choosed sworn translation agency)

    I only have one brith certificate in my country they only issued one.

    certified copy here means certified from the office which issued your birth certificate. but notarized birth certificate is not accpeptable so I didnt do this.

    If you can get certified copy , you can send it to NVC but you have to show the original when you are interview with CO.

    I am still waiting interview date available from NVC , but when my husband sent all original documents to NVC he wrote the letter to request all original back to me after interview.

    So I wil only bring the foto copy of the original .

    Okay so when I filed my I-130 i send bunch of stuff..

    I sent I-864, I-864A..bank statements, employment letters, 2 photos of my wife, her biographic passport page, marriage certificates, birth cirtificates, marriage ceremony pics, other stuff I dont remember.

    Any of you guys did this?

    oh and if you did and you're approved, also if ur case is at NVC are you following LOTTO'S AND JAMES shorcuts ?

    Hi ,

    When my husband file the petition for us IR-1 & IR-2. the documents were

    Form -130

    Copy of Marriage certificate with traslations.

    Copy Birth certificate with traslation of me and our daughters.

    Copy pasport of Us

    He didnt need to show pictures and relationship evidences.

    All of them only copy , but for NVC all documents which we sent are originals except passport.

    Dear VJ members,

    I may have interview on October ( case complated on August 27th and waiting interview date).

    We married in my original country but I will have IR interview in my present residence country, (different with my original country).

    If you have same experiance that you are living in different place where married took place , Please gather here for the interview experiances and if someone is going to have interviews, lets gather what's will be prepared .
