Anyway , have a nice trip , wish you have happy life forever.

  2. Hi there! Thanks for your account! I'll be going to the same doctor when my turn arrives.

Have you ever had chest pains? Any problems before?

I have a valve in my heart that beats slower than the rest, if it has never been a problem they may just dismiss it has the way your heart is. If it is not a long term concern then you'll be fine.

    Hi Angi,

did you bring letter from US embassy? and what picture size you gave for medical test?

For my case , I cant go even to take blood test for HIV and shyphilis test .

and after I get tohose test , then I can go medical check.

  3. Dear All who have interview on OCT.

for everybody who will have interview on OCT.

have you received Interview appoitment mail???

I havent received it yet , neither my husband.

    what about you??????

I was informed that I have to bring those appoitment interview letter to have medical check test and vaccination.

Is it true? or only in Hungary?

My husband is schedule for interview on Oct 9, 2008. When I checked my mailbox today. I got big white envelope from NVC...that is my husband's appointment letter.. I will probably fax it to my husband in Manila. I'm afraid he might get his appointmentt letter after his interview. :innocent:

    Dear All,

    thanks for sharring your info.

I hope by end of this week or beginning of next week my husband's in the US will receive it, then he can scan and email me for medical check up and vaccination. but if I wait the original appoitment letter coming to Hungary may be it will take 3 weeks.

  4. Thanks very much, divi.

One more question. When submitting DS-230. do we need to include 2 photos of each applicant? I could not find the photos on the required document list for DS-230 on NVC website. Did I miss it somewhere?

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Dingc08

Yes, you need to submit 2pcs of passport pictures for each applicant, I think it is 5x5 cm .

You can check on NVC website for detail about picture.

  5. So i have to make a decision and i don't know what to do.

I wrote another post previously about having an interview date for CR1 on the 29th of September. However i've just been sent another interview date for the K3 which is on 26th. It would be better for me to go to the one on the 26th. I have emailed requesting the 26th to be changed to CR1 interview, but not sure if i'll get response.

So if i dont get a response, i'm not sure if i should just go and request it when i am down there. They have all my documents and everything.

Some people have already said just to go, but i would like more of a confirmation.

So if you think i should go.....post go

If you think i should wait....post wait.

    Thank you for your help

    ROCA

My suggestion will be wait for confirmation

    Reason :

you will be sure of your interview date then you will be ready for it in mentally. since you wont have any problem and doubts.

    Good luck

  6. I don't have my Interview Appointment Letter yet, even my husband in the US haven't receive his copy yet. We are scheduled on Oct.23, interview. The NVC told my husband that it would take 2-4weeks to receive the copy, but of course the Petitioner in the US will receive his copy ahead of us.

Yes we do need to show the appointment letter during the Medical & interview, but it is also ok to print the appointment shown in your embassy website, where you need to enter your case # to retreive it. Our Petitioner can email it also to us & we can print it & use this during medical & interview, just in case the mailed Letter will be delayed.

Dear All who have interview on OCT.

Hi! should the case # appear on the appointment letter? mine don't have it from the email, but there got my name of course and my 2 girls.

    Thanks

    Hi mehere,

I cant print it out from US embassy in Hungary website, it is not exist. :innocent:

So I may have to wait mail which NVC sent to my husband.

  7. Hi There,

How important is it to give a notorized copy of my marriage certificate during the first step of the I-130 process? My wife and I were married in China. I read some places where a notorized copy wasn't necessary. The USCIS website just mentioned a copy of the marriage certificate. Anyone can share their experience about this?

    Thanks

    Kejianping

and the USCIS knows what they require for there own petition...........

Hi for USCIS, we only submited fotocopy of marriage certificate and traslation.

But for NVC, we submited original for all documents.

  8. I hope someone with same situation helps with this.

I am preparing to submit DS-230 for my 2-year-old daughter. On Part I for "SIGNATURE OF APPLICANT", either my wife or I can sign it. Question is how to sign it? Can we sign like:

    Child_Name (signed by Parent_Name, Mother/Father)

or is there better or conventional way to sign?

    Thanks a lot.

    Hi ,

I am as mother signed on it , I put my name and signature ( mother) .

she will go to US with me .

  9. even though I don't know what visa you are trying to get--they asked for a CV?! Is this typical? Having read lots of threads here on VJ, I've never heard of that before.

Sorry I'm no help here but I did want to say CONGRATULATIONS on finishing the PhD. That's fantastic!

    Hi Flower cat,

what kind of visa did you apply?

in this forum we are discussing CR/IR Visa or may be some K Visa.

based on the experinace from VJ memeber I have read after intervies they got slip ( there are white, blue and Pink) .

however, you should call again embassy and clarify your interview status and ask when the visa issued.

CV here mean Curriculum Vitae? or what ??

why they need that? if your visa is related with family re-union , I think no need CV.

But it can be, everything depends on local embassy .

if so then it will be the first story I read.

I apply for IR1. They didn't give me any slip and I didn't see any others hold any slip when left the window.

Maybe just because I am a biologist, and I am PhD. Highly educated person in sensitive scientific field

But it seems the interviewer was quite confident, and he even apologized for the delay.

Ok, then dont worry, may be they need to check more detail about Job and your experiances since you are scientic of biology.

If embassy need 1 month to clarify then wait...relax but I cant stop you to stay worry.

May be the slip will you get after they clarify your CV.

    Thanks to share with us.

wish you all the best then you can visit your husband ASAP.

  11. Maybe some of you still remember my story. I was scheduled by NVC an interview in Stockholm, but the embassy in Stockholm didn't want to interview me because I am not citizen of Sweden. After 3 weeks of struggle, finally they accepted me and scheduled me another interview on last Thursday, the day before my PhD defense. Anyway, I know it's crazy but I don't want to bother them anymore, since they are already doing me a big favor.

So I flew to Stockholm one day earlier, slept one night in Stockholm, and reached the embassy on time. At the gate, I only saw one line for non-immigration visa. I asked around, but nobody knew where the line for immigration visa is. Finally I realized I was the only one for immigration visa, that's why there was no line......

I entered the embassy, gave my passport to the window, waited for about 40 min, then my name was called. The consul is a very nice looking guy. I said "good morning" but he said "nihao", which is my language, Chinese. I was surprised. The interview was happy, he didn't ask for any photo or telephone record. I was quite relaxed actually. Finally he told me the documents and the interview were OK. But he wanted me to send the electronic version of my CV to them, so they will send it to Washington. In about 30 days, Washington will approve it, and then they will issue me a visa. He wanted to keep my passport, but later he decided to return it to me, in case I would need to travel during the 30 days. But when the CV has been approved, they will inform me to send the passport to them again. He said he's quite confident I should be able to leave for US in Oct.

It took me about 20 min. After I left the window, I saw two other Chinese waiting for interview. Talked with them for half minute and told them about my story. I don't know if all the Chinese will have the same problem as I had, or it's only for long-term visa application. I just asked them to be prepared......Anyway, they looked kind of nervous and unhappy also......

Then I flew back to my town, where my supervisor was waiting for me, almost had heart attack. I finished the PhD defense on Friday. I sent my CV to them on Sunday. I will call to make sure they got it. I am a PhD of biology. I tried to remove all the words related to bacteria or virus from my CV......I don't want to scare anybody......

Will everything be fine? Will I be able to see my husband in Oct? Maybe I worry too much, but since the PhD defense has been done, I have nothing else to worry......

    Hi Flower Cat,

I remember your story , good thing that you can had interview at Us embassy in Stockholm.

and just wait and pray for the visa, dont worry to much.

did you get pink slip after interview?

  12. After case complete, you need to wait for an interview to be set up for you by the NVC. For appointment consulates only after the interview date is given is the paperwork petitioned (unless of course there a special circumstances, such as an expedite granted). You will probably be at NVC until at least next month until the appointments are once again scheduled.

    Hi Cyber,

    Congratulation.

    check this of DHL tracking

Listen to NVC AVR message, it will clearly say “Your case is completed and forwarded to the embassy or consulate in XXX on MM/DD/YYYY…” Once you hear this message, immediately go to DHL website at http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef and track your shipment.

For example, if AVR says your shipment date is 06/05/2008, NVC actually called DHL one day before this date to pick up the shipment. So your reference date is 06/04/2008. Then enter EXP 04 JUN 2008A as your reference in the above DHL website. Then scroll down to your consulate link.

To be sure you can try a date range between 06/03/2008 to 06/06/2008 in the date range.

    Good Luck

and then , check with your local embassy .

  14. we had an RFE with our DS230.. it was my carelessness and stupidity that did it. :bonk: in the part of the form where it says to write all the places lived since 16, i miscalculated the year i turned 16. so explains the RFE. it's a good thing i took steve y jesica's advise to send a signed but blank ds230 form to my husband in case there is an RFE. It was what my husby filled-out.

what we did now was to write the places i lived since my birth. i hope they won't find anything wrong with it... oh please God! i'm feeling nervous with all these.. i couldn't sleep well at night!

please pray for me you guys... i need to be with my husband soon. we have been away from each other far too long...

    thanks!

    Hi ,

I wrote in the form fom since from I was born until I moved to other city.

In fact I was living in one place since I was born until I reach 16 yo.

But I made separately paper for explanation on this item .

    NO RFE.

  15. Hi All,

For somebody who the case complated between August 18th till August 31th 2008.

I beleive that interview date will be assigned within this week ( 2nd week of September). Correct meif I am wrong.

My case was complated on August 27th.

How to check if our documents will be forwarded to the consulate where we will have interview.

    Please give advice,

    thanks in advance.

YES, they do assign interviews on the 2nd week of each month. my case got approved 15th of august and i'm scheduled for an october 3rd interview. they have already sent the approved documents to some local embassies worldwide. since you got approved before the monthly deadline, there may be a chance an interview was set (but this i'm not sure). try to call NVC and talk to a live operator and inquire about your case. have your NVC case number ready with petitioner and beneficiary's name and date of birth too. i knew my interview schedule when my husband informed me after he called NVC.

to check if your local embassy has recieved any documents from NVC, go to the DHL homepage and track through REFERENCE. key in: EXP 08 SEP 2008A. then press track. a list will appear then see if your country is amongst those that recieved the documents from NVC already.

hope i helped out..PM me if you need any more info and if i can provide it, ill gladly answer them..god bless..TC

    Dear All,

Finally , I know how to check on DHL track ,

but I didnt find country my case forwarded to Budapest from list of DHL .:innocent:
