So he said the lawyer said they may be referring to his wife's immigrant visa petition (he filed I130 for his wife from outside the US. Her case was approved after a lot of investigation by the embassy. According to him, his wife was interviewed by the fraud department of the embassy before her visa was finally issued. Based on this history, his lawyer is suspecting the file they are referring to is his wife's A-file. Also, he said the lawyer mentioned that she'll confirm if they have all his files before he comes for the next scheduled interview because this is the second time they are rescheduling his interview. He's just wondering if anyone has had issues like this.

I'll tell him to join...😁. No he doesn't have 2 identities that's why he's wondering what they mean by having another Afile. I think i made a mistake by saying 2 A-files. He said the officer said they need to order for his other A-file.

Hello VJ community. I have come with an update on my friend's case. He went for his interview with a lawyer recently but they said he has to be rescheduled because they don't have all his files. He said they said he has two A-files. I wanted to ask... IS it possible for an individual to have 2 A-files... he's confused about that. Also, pls has anyone had a similar experience where they said there are A-files.

@OldUser thank you so much for your response, he said he doesn't have other issues. He's just wondering if the iO will probe him about his former marriage that ended over 6 years ago.

Hi JeannAdil, he said the officer emphasized that the Lease he submitted did not tally with the one with the apartment mgt. I.e, after his friend subleased the apartment to him, he only manually added him and his exwife to the lease without going through the apartment management.

Pls I have a question. My friend submitted a lease agreement that was edited by his friend who subleased a room to him in his apartment when he was filling N-400 the first time. So the leasing agreement he submitted did not tally with the one in the leasing office because his friend added him and his ex wife to the lease manually. After he filed the n400, his application was denied based on lack of moral character. So he has waited for 5 years after the incident to apply again. Do you have any advice for him when he wants to go for his interview? Also we want to know if the ISo would refer to the lease agreement issues that did not tally during his first citizenship application.
