  1. Based on my field office’s current processing times, I’ll need to wait about two more months before I can submit a service request. I’m wondering how effective service requests actually are, since I’ve read that the responses are usually generic. Has anyone had an experience where a service request helped move their case forward?
  2. I just chatted with an online agent, and they told me my case is still in NBC. Does anyone know how the process works—does the case first get transferred to the FO and then the interview scheduled, or is it transferred after the interview is scheduled?

  4. Is anyone else here in the same situation as me and still hasn’t received an interview notice.
  5. My interview is not scheduled yet. Last week, the estimated time for my case was one week. This week, it changed to: “Your case is taking longer than we previously estimated, but it is still within normal processing times.”
  6. My case status was recently reworded from 'Case Is Being Actively Reviewed' to 'Case Is Still Being Processed by USCIS.' Is that normal? I’ve been waiting almost six months now, so I’m not sure if I’m overthinking it.
  7. What is the estimated timeline based on USCIS processing times? I haven’t seen any updates on the API or my case status since I applied.
  8. Anyone knows what "subtype: 160A" is
  9. How did you request expedited scheduling?
  10. On the day I applied, I received two status updates: 'We received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, and sent you a receipt notice' and 'Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS.' There have been no status changes since then, and you're right—no new information appears in the API.
  11. The status changed to 'Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS' on the first day, likely because they already have my fingerprints on file.
  12. How are you able to view the API code? I’d like to check mine, as my case hasn’t shown any updates since the day I applied.
  13. When I applied, my processing time was 6 months. After more than two months, I checked again, and it had increased to 7 months. Is that normal?
