  1. Can I ask you if that denial was logged anywhere? Or if you got an email? Or just the call and that’s it
  2. Oh I’m sorry that happened to you! They could at least be polite! We called the military hotline and three days later someone called my fiancé saying “no additional evidence is required and they will push it through under military expedite”; Our situation is quite unique as he isn’t about to be deployed but I already went through the whole visa process, took almost a year, sold all my stuff, quit my job to move to the United States to my fiancé and then I had to leave the country after 90 days because it was impossible for us to get married due to some problems that had happened to the clearance to marry a foreign citizen. When you leave the U.S. then the visa expires, you can’t refile and so we basically had to start it all again… and then asked for an expedite. And even with those circumstances the civilian channel denied our request and had flagged it as financial hardship only (?), then two months later we tried the military helpline and finally success. But again.. now we’ve already been waiting for an other 6 weeks
  3. Long story short, I already had a K1 and went through the whole process and was approved just for it to expire due to something active duty work-related/ government related/ security related. Unfortunately there is no way to get it reissued, we even had someone call Department of homeland security cuz it’s a uscis related problem. So we had to apply for a new one and trying to get it expedited as this situation was out of our control and is causing immeasurable hardship. For the second part the Consulate already has me noted, I just need USCIS to stop being USCIS. Anyways, thanks for your feedback. We had an officer calling US saying they’ll push it through under military expedite and no RFE needed but no approval (or denial) ever logged into my account that’s why I’m so worried hitting 6 weeks already without any approval whatsoever.
  4. First we asked for an expedite through the normal USCIS channel, around June 4th was when we got a Tier 2 callback and it was mistakenly flagged as “financial hardship”; and we got a denial logged 13 days later. Without any RFE. August 13th we asked for an expedite through the military hotline, got a new “expedite meets minimum criteria” E-mail and that call three days later. “No extra evidence needed, we will push it through”. That call was August 15th. (Note that I sent an extensive expedite package to USCIS on June 24th when I thought I was still waiting for the decision on the first request just in case) Since that second “meets minimum criteria email” and that phone call, neither a denial nor a approval was logged (and as far as I know they don’t necessarily log approvals) and my last status update says “correspondence received”; since June 24th. It’s really confusing and I don’t know what to think as 39 days passed since that phone call. Calling the helpline doesn’t help as those Tier 1 agents don’t really have much insight. For example I never logged into my Status Case Online account as I didn’t know that exists and expected an E-mail (which never came) about the first expedite, so I waited 7 weeks or so before I logged into that account and actually saw the denial and the tier 1’s didn’t even know it was denied. They just kept telling me (when explaining I’m waiting for a decision on the expedite) that it’s under “active review” and I gotta be patient. One tier 1 even flagged my case heavily to “help push the expedite through” and never saw that the expedite was denied.
  5. The expedite is approved, we had an officer calling us three days after requesting the expedite saying: “no more evidence is needed, we will push it through under military expedite”; but 6 weeks passed since that phone call and my petition didn’t get approved yet. My question was if anyone knows how long it takes for the underlaying petition to get approved after the expedite request is approved.
  6. I got my expedite request approved three days after requesting it but now it’s been 6 weeks since then. Anyone has an idea how long it takes to get the underlaying petition approved after an expedite request is granted or has experienced this situation?
  7. We send our I-129F package to the Lockbox January 28th and our check still isn’t cashed. It’s been 6 weeks. Anyone else experiencing delays too? I’m wondering if it has to do with the layoffs or what is wrong. We send an e-mail two weeks ago to inquire about that but still no response. It feels like USCIS is ghosting us. Any ideas what to do or if this is normal?
