    Didn't lie or anything. I consulted an attorney. He suggested that. According to him, I didn't have police report. So my case is weak. I had proof in the form of medical report. Had letters from friends and family. However, he made me scared.

    Hi, I have a question people. Once you got your VAWA approved and you get your green card. Can you get married or you will have to wait for your citizenship? I heard there is a rule that you cannot get married while your VAWA is still being processed? Does it apply on the green card obtain by VAWA?

    I was going to. However, the current administration and their tactics are causing so much panic. I am not sure what evidences I should bring now? Do I have to gather more evidence for my marriage since since I got married again? I had an interview for I-485. However, it was not about abuse. Now I need to prepare myself again to describe about the abuse in N-400 interview?

    Thanks. I should be looking into my case again. I had my I-485 interview and the officer didn't ask any question about abuse and marriage( I get very stressed with those memories). Now, this interview again. I hope if someone went thorough naturalization recently and if they can elaborate the experience, it would be helpful.

    My spouse is on student visa. That is expiring in next year. I just want to start the process before it get too late. The changes in policies are the main problem here.

    Hi, I got my LPR through VAWA. Under the 3-year rule, I am eligible for naturalization. I am ready to apply. However, many questions are coming into my mind. I want to know if I have to prepare for evidence of Bonafide marriage again. I have old evidences that I submitted with my original VAWA application. I do not have any more evidences. Should I be worried? Do I have to get more evidence of my abuse? I do have the old evidence from original vawa application. I also got married last year. Is it going to impact my naturalization process? If someone has gone through VAWA naturalization recently, can they share their experience ?

    I have the attorney. He is fine. However, I am just curious. It should be a smooth process. However, the shift in fundamental changes of immigration policies is bothering me. I got approved. Everything is spick and span. However, a peep into the real world will be better. VAWA is tricky. Even though you got approved, they can still drag you into the mud so they can increase the numbers.

I know the basic requirements. I am concerned about my case. Do I have to prepare for my VAWA case again? 2. What kind of questions can I expect from my VAWA case? 3. I heard about changed and major scrutinizes in leu of recent fraud investigations of VAWA. Is it going to impact naturalization process as well? If someone has gone through this naturalization recently, I’d be very much interested into hearing about their story.
