I told my fiance to arrive at 5am even though she has her appointment scheduled for 12PM to avoid all the foot traffic for each department and get everything done in one day, including vaccines. FBI records as well? Is that a new requirement? I have a clean record I figured they would be able to pull it on their end.

Yes my fiance immediately scheduled her medical exam for jan 08. I think they raised the medical fee? I paid about $500 US to have her schedule that appoinment

Hi JM, thanks for your response. I managed to secure both slots yesterday!! After virgourously checking every 5 minutes for the past week I was able to secure slots OFC and IV slot 3 days apart !!

So does the K1 Interview slot show up through the USTravelDoc portals after I schedule the biometrics appointment?

I am not understanding this? Me and my fiance is trying to get an OFC slot but no slots available still... I heard embassy automatically issues you an interview date through mail/email to my fiance, regardless if I have the OFC scheduled or not.

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone who has gone through the process can help clarify a few things for me and my fiance (K-1 visa, Embassy Manila). How can we find out whether an interview date has already been assigned for our case, or when we might expect one? We’ve been checking constantly for OFC (biometrics) appointments, but there haven’t been any available slots. Does anyone know when new OFC appointment slots are usually released? What happens if an interview date gets scheduled, but we still can’t book an OFC appointment because there are no openings? What should we do in that situation? Any advice or recent experience would really help ,thank you!

Yes I did. All field filled out and it still says search did not find anything data. Please help, we don’t have an interview date or anything yet

Hi JM, I was able to check on my status by entering our MNL case number, NA, NA for passport and surname. It was labelled in transit on 12.30.2025. However after my fiance submitted DS160 on 12/31/2025. We are unable to check the status of the case, we have checked it this morning and both of us have received Your search did not return any data.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for guidance on my K-1 fiance visa timeline. I wanted to leave this post as a last resort because I have done research throughout reddit/youtube/facebook groups and I get all different answers. My Fiance is in the PH. I am the petitioner in US. I have used this youtube video as a guide for me but then apparently doing more research there are different ways to go about it. One reddit user says for k1 users you will not get any welcome letter/email. you will get K1FTP letter before submission of DS 160, is this true? I am so confused. USCIS/Petition Timeline: NOA1 (I-129F received by USCIS): Jan 21, 2025 NOA2 (Approval notice): Sept 26, 2025 (expires Jan 26, 2026) NVC/DOS Timeline: Case sent to DOS: Nov 18, 2025 Current NVC processing update (as of 8-Dec-25): working on cases received Nov 24, 2025 I have not received a case number or welcome letter yet CEAC portal (IV/NIV), no access because I do not have my case number Current Situation/Concern: I’ve submitted multiple public inquiry requests. Each response says my case has been received by NVC but has not been entered into their system yet. I’m concerned because my NOA2 expires Jan 26, 2026, and there’s a long wait time for NVC to create my case. I want to know if I’m at risk of my NOA2 expiring before my case is created and what steps I can take to avoid any issues. Questions for the community: Has anyone experienced a similar delay with a K-1 where NOA2 was close to expiration? Can NVC still create a case after NOA2 expiration if it was sent within the valid period? Are there steps I can take to ensure my NOA2 remains valid while waiting for the case number? Hi RBV, I am new so I wasn't sure how to label everything correctly. My timeline should read out "Sent to Department of State" status - I considered that sent to DOS/NVC. That is why I am confused. How would I update this correction? I have sent multiple public inquiries and NVC says they have received my case but not entered into their system yet and to refer to their NVC timeframes which is already above the time of case creation time. so I mailed the packet (I129F) out for Texas but it was sent to California Service Center.

DId you hear anything back? I got my NOA 2 and it was sent to DOS a month ago. I still haven't heard anything else. My case is taking longer than others for some reason. It's ridiculous.

Does anyone know in 2025 if shipping the original signed documents (I-134) to my beneficiary in Manila is something I have to do? Or would a scanned, signed document be ok?

How were you able to meet the military criteria? I had requested a military expedite and received a call back from a Tier 2 officer, who was quite rude. She informed me that because I am not being deployed overseas and my activation/deployment was solely for ESAD-related fuel mitigation and fire suppression mission within the state of California, it does not qualify for an expedited request. She also mentioned that if I filed a military expedite for this reason, it would be 100% denied, and then she abruptly ended the call.

Still waiting on my NOA 2. I received NOA 1 on Jan 21, 2025...
