How did the interview go? Mine is in a couple of days.

Interview was very good, the guy was pretty nice, There was no small talk but it was nice. It starts with the reading test and then writing, extremely easy if you speak basic English, then they asked me the civic questions. After that he said he was gonna go through the application with me, asked me some questions about my travel history (like if I travel for work or leisure) then he asked if I had back taxes, I said no and he asked if I brought my tax return. I didn't bring my taxes so I said no and he said it was fine, but maybe bring your taxes if you have it. After that, there were a few minutes of silence and I was just waiting, then he said I was approved. The whole interview took like 10 minutes max. Also when you do the interview they take your passport, driver's license, and green card & the guy forgot to give it back to me after the interview and I forgot too so I had to come back to get it and it was a whole thing to get back into the building haha so make sure you take all your stuff after the interview!!! LOL

    good luck with your interview!!

    Wow this is super fast!

    Which office?

yes, I am so thankful but a little surprised it went that fast after years and years of waiting for some of my other visas. Hoping the oath ceremony is scheduled soon. I am not sure of which office, I think National Benefits Center, and I applied online. Hope this helps!

Interesting. I’m only a stone throw away from you. The field office is in San Bernardino. My case takes longer. Even getting to the reviewing now status took 9 days. I assume it’s because they don’t seem to be able to reuse my biometrics after all those year. At that pace I have a feeling the estimated 9 months might turn out to be true for me.

I think it's going pretty fast overall. I have multiple friends who have gotten citizenship in the last few months within 4-5 months. I did my biometrics in 2018 and they have been reusing them since, in case that helps! Hopefully, you'll get yours moved to interview soon! :)

  4. I also applied November this year for n400

    Applied Nov 7, 2024

Case is under review Nov 7, 2024

    Biometrics reused Nov ,7 2024

Interview scheduled December 4th 2024 (for early january)

Today ( Dec 9th) I received an email saying there was action taken to my case and it shows the interview is "completed" and waiting for decision (but I haven't had my interview yet). I talked to an USCIS agent and said it's most likely a glitch.

wondering if anyone is experiencing glitches in the "my progress" tab?
