Do NOT email... They will not give you case details via email. Use the public inquiry link below. In that online form, there is a button to attach files. Attach a scan of you I-129F approval notice and in the body of the request, ask them if your case number is available yet. After that, ask them to make sure they have the current email addresses for the petitioner and beneficiary and then give them both your email addresses. This will ensure that the NVC and then the embassy has both of your email addresses going forward. If they say they haven't created your case file yet, you can inquire every 10 days or so. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html

K1 petitioner with criminal record
Edward and Jaycel replied to Hopefull25's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
I would agree with those above that the Spousal Visa is a superior option (This coming from a Phil-Am couple that went the K-1 route ) However, if you do decide to pursue the K-1 route, be sure to disclose your history AND provide court certified disposition of the cases with your filing. It does not seem that any of your past includes violations under the AWA so I would imagine that you will be ok. However, I am not an attorney, this is not legal advice and you may want to pay for a consult with a reputable immigration lawyer and discuss this before filing the I-129F, if you go that route. I had a conviction from when I was a young idiot 30+ years ago. Nothing violent or drug related under the "Special Offenses" listed on the I-129F. I was approved after an RFE for the court docs which I then provided. (I did not read the instructions for the I-129F carefully enough and while I DID disclose my conviction on the petition, I neglected to provide the court documents with the initial filing - Learn from my mistake ) Good luck, stay in the community here at VJ - it's an amazing support group - and let us know how you decide to proceed! -

That won't affect you for this.... Since this medical exam is for your current filing it will be good until they adjudicate the I-485 -

Oh lord.. 2 weeks? Good thing you got right on this. Did they make your wife do the whole exam or did they do just the vaccine assessment? Thanks for reporting back @KoreaninHawaii -
May 2025 AOS Filers

That estimated time to case decision is wildly inaccurate and fluctuates often so you can safely ignore it. You can check the case processing times at your local field office here: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ -
May 2025 AOS Filers
Edward and Jaycel replied to Twililord's topic in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
This happens to everyone's "My Progress" timeline after biometrics... it does not mean your interview is waived. The new policy at USCIS under the Trump Administration is that almost no one gets an interview waiver so it's best to prepare yourself to have to attend one. Best of luck and we hope afor a speedy process for you! -
I'd be lying if I said Jaycel and I didn't think this also 🥹 It's so hard watching people get scheduled for interviews 30-60 days after filing. Don't get me wrong, we are super happy for them but when we see the posts and stats on these ones, Jaycel has asked me on more than one occasion if USCIS has forgotten her case. It breaks my heart

It will be the same cost as the original exam... SLEC does not charge extra for vaccines, they work it into the overall cost

There is nothing in the primary document requirements OR the "Possible Additional Documents" that says you need the Certified Duplicate of the I-129F: A. What are the requirements? The following are the GCP primary requirements: 1. Barcoded Confirmation form of GCP Appointment 2. Original valid passport and additional two (2) valid IDs; 3. Original valid visa and Confirmation of Permanent Residence (for Canada-bound only); 4. Petitioner’s passport copy or one (1) valid ID; and 5. Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marriage certificate in security paper (if married in the Philippines); 6. Report of Marriage in Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) security paper (if married overseas) Additional documents may be required in the event that the counselor / facilitator determines it to be essential to complete the guidance and counseling process. It is advised for all the GCP applicants to prepare the following documents in advance (if applicable to them): ● Divorce decree/certificate of Filipino spouse or foreign spouse (if previously married) ● Annulment papers of Filipino spouse or foreign spouse (if previously married) ● Proof of residency/Alien Registration Card-ARC of foreign spouse ● Proof of relationship (pictures together, e-mails, among others) ● Death certificate of Filipino spouse or foreign spouse (if widowed) ● Certificate of family relations / registration of foreign spouse ● Proof of Civil status or Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) ● Valid no criminal records certification/clearance or any equivalent document to indicate lack of criminal/derogatory record ●Documents in foreign language must be officially translated to English

Oh my Lord.... CFO has just come up with a new requirement out of thin air again. 🤦🏻♂️ Manila embassy does not issue the "Certified Duplicate" that I have ever seen. I honestly don't know what to tell you. Maybe try reaching out to the embassy at the Immigrant Visa Inquiry page and explain what is happening and ask if they can email it to you? You can contact them here: https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visa-inquiry-form/

I am 1000% sure of this... Invoice numbers are only issued by NVC to immigrant visa applicants. Since the K-1 is a nonimmigrant visa, there is no invoice number issued. This is because you do not upload documents to CEAC as a K-1 applicant because they do not documentary qualify you. That is done by the embassy. No invoice number and no uploading docs to CEAC

Is this a K-1 Case? I ask because your timeline is blank and I don't know what case you filed. If it is a K-1 case, you do not have an invoice number. They are not issued to nonimmigrant visa applicants. You will just mail the documents back in according to the instructions. The "invoice number" part of the notice is in there because they give the same paper to immigrant and nonimmigrant (K-1) visa applicants that get 221g refusals. If you want you can put a note in with your mailed in reply saying something like, "Here is the 221g response. We were unable to upload scans of the documents to the CEAC portal because, as a K-1 visa applicant, we were not issued an invoice number."
