  1. *** UPDATE *** I have been emailing the email address for the DFA every month to get the transmittal details to the PSA for our ROM since January and every time they have been replying that they do not have the December ROMs from the San Francisco Consulate yet.... Yadda Yadda. Finally this month we received this update from DFA: Dear Ma'am/Sir, Greetings from the Civil Registry Division - Americas Desk! We apologize for the delay of the transmittal of your Report to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Please be informed that we are still waiting for the new original sets of registered reports from the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco as the initial reports we have received were photocopies. Thank you for your understanding. So it looks like the consulate was supposed to send the original filings to the DFA and keep a copy for themselves and they did the opposite. They sent the copies to the DFA and kept the originals there. 😆😆 Good Lord the Philippine bureaucracy never fails to entertain 🤪
  2. It appears that they have suspended the Enumeration Beyond Entry (EBE) program for I-765 & N-400 applicants which was what triggered the SSA to issue the card. You will likely have to make an appointment with your local SSA and do it in person now.
  3. Today's stats: May 22, 2025 22:35 MDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 5,941 (+173) • Denied: 955 • FingerprintScheduled: 95 • InterviewCancelled: 255 • InterviewScheduled: 10,713 (-5) • Processing: 22,937 • Received: 613 • Rejected: 103 • RFE: 427 • Terminated: 164 • Withdrawal: 23 • Others: 40 Interesting stat day
  4. Good deal... and the reason I say "Become an A+ student of the instructions" is because of personal experience. I did not read them carefully enough when I applied for Jaycel and it caused us to get an RFE which delayed our case by God-knows how long. Good luck on your journey and be sure to thoroughly explain the circumstances of the previous filing as described and I'm sure all will be good! Hoping for a speedy approval for you both!
  5. You request the waiver right in the I-129F application (See the screenshot below) I highly recommend reading and becoming an A+ student of the instructions for the I-129F. The instructions in Part 3. state the following (I have Bolded and Italicized the part that would apply to your case, assuming the petitioner has no restraining orders in their history or specified criminal offences): Item Numbers 5.a. - 5.d. Multiple Filer Waiver Request. You must request a waiver of the International Marriage Broker Regulation Act (IMBRA) filing limitations if: 1. You are filing this petition on behalf of your fiancé(e) and you previously filed Form I-129Fs on behalf of two or more fiancé(e) beneficiaries; or 2. You are filing this petition on behalf of your fiancé(e), you have previously had a Form I-129F approved, and less than two years have passed since the filing date of your previously approved petition. Select the box that indicates the waiver you are requesting. You may request and support your waiver with additional information and/or explanation in Part 8. Additional Information, or by attaching a signed and dated letter according to the instructions for Part 8.
  6. I would also explain in the additional information section that you selected "Yes" because you filed but it got rejected and note that you are including the rejection notice (As @MalloryCat suggested)
  7. Your post title says, "US Embassy in Haiti Current Message". Are you saying this is on their website? If it is, have your mother absolutely go. This could very well be the first step in getting her an interview appointment.
  8. Today's stats: May 21, 2025 22:45 MDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 5,5768 (+191) • Denied: 907 • FingerprintScheduled: 96 • InterviewCancelled: 253 • InterviewScheduled: 10,718 (+54) • Processing: 23,163 • Received: 615 • Rejected: 103 • RFE: 418 • Terminated: 163 • Withdrawal: 22 • Others: 40
  9. My wife did her CFO in Cebu in August 2024 - She said the counselor was very strict. (the Filipina definition of "strict") If you know, you know She brought all the relevant required documents and 115 or so pages of proof of relationship. The counselor went through all of it. The certificate is issued right at the end of the session at the checkout. It will come to the email that you used to register for the session. Make sure your fiancée checks it for accuracy before she leaves. Tell her to save the email with the attachment as Philippine Immigration asked Jaycel to see the actual email on her phone with the certificate attachment. They actually opened the attachment from the email to input the data during her exit processing.
  10. This is because the DS-260 information is what will be use by the IV Section in issuing and printing the visa which has to match the name in the passport into which it is placed. For the I-864 you should have no issue using her married name as that is the name you used in the I-130
  11. I think it means where before the SSA would automatically update your citizenship status on your SSA account, now you have to go in and do it at a local office. I believe @OldUser just had to do this after naturalization
  12. @sys187 Good catch! I hope that they are still processing as normal for I-485 and thus also immigrant visa entrants!
  13. Are you planning to file for citizenship under the 3 year rule or the 5 year rule?
  14. This immigration process makes us all practice waiting 🤪 Jaycel and I are now practicing our wait for her AOS next step (Interview / Approval) Hang tough
  15. This is great news! Please let the others of us still waiting for an interview know what the experience was like for you both
  16. Some great advice from the other members here... I chimed in to say that if they kept her passport, I think that likely means that the consular officer thinks this is an issue that can be easily and quickly resolved. Please keep us posted of developments
  17. You will not get an invoice number in the K-1 process. This is reserved for immigrant visas. Since the K-1 is technically a nonimmigrant visa and is only treated like an immigrant visa, they do not give you this. So take this off your list of worries
  18. @Dashinka is correct… there will not be a USCIS biometrics appointment for the K-1 process. Your fiancé will have one by the embassy in whatever manner they do things at that particular embassy. Some have gone to offsite visa application centers where this will be done, some still do them at the embassy itself. Bringing a copy of the submitted I-129F package is good practice in case the consular officer conducting the interview requires something from it for some reason. Best of luck!
