  1. Jaycel had a 4 hour layover at LAX for her K-1 POE and her flight inbound was delayed by 45 minutes which put her at passport control with 4 other international flights. While her inspection and admission with the officer only took approx. 10 minutes, it took an hour just to get to him. By the time she made it to her terminal for the connecting flight to Denver, she had about 25 minutes before the flight started boarding, so she had time to use the restroom and get a bite to eat and never felt rushed or panicked . Glad you found a flight with the 4 hour layover
  2. I've been seeing the same for the best part of the last week

  6. We booked Jaycel’s ticket through Expedia. Direct flight from Manila to LAX on PAL.
  7. We just picked up Jaycel's sealed envelope from the civil surgeon for the vaccine assessment to add her Polio vaccine to the record. One more hurdle cleared. LOL
  8. You will not get an invoice # for a K-1 visa application. Those are only given to immigrant visa applicants. Depending on your consulate, when you sign up for the website to schedule the interview, you will either pay the fee there or some places have you pay at a partner site or a partner bank there in-country. I know last summer when we did it in Manila, Jaycel had to go to a specific Philippine Bank and pay in cash there with a receipt generated from the website where we scheduled her interview. Once we paid the fee at the bank, they validated the receipt, we had to wait 24 hours for it to be registered in the system and then and we had to input that receipt number into the website before it would allow us to schedule the interview. The K1-FTP letter should come in your email once the case status changes to "In Transit". I know in Manila we had to bring that to the medical clinic to prove we had an active case.

  11. Yes, right before they ship it the status will change to "Issued". Congrats!
  12. Yes this is normal Glad you got them both done in one shot!
  13. Your fiancé will fill out the DS-160. The K-1 is still a nonimmigrant visa, however since it's one of the few nonimmigrant visas where the State Department obviously allows immigrant intent, they will treat it like an immigrant visa. I do not know the procedures in Morocco but perhaps @Jeanne Adil can assist you in their specific procedures
  14. Which consulate is processing your case? It would help the other members here to help you if you filled out your timeline

  16. Agree with @Aserc on this... you guys are a legit couple and from reading your posts as we have gone along here I know you guys have your stuff together I have been reading a ton of interview reviews recently on Reddit (since almost everyone gets one now, there are a LOT ) and the vast majority (90%+) have been saying that the officers are kind, professional and basically just "checking the boxes" on these interviews that they have to do that would have otherwise got a waiver in the past few years. Let us know how it goes!
  17. Jaycel's took a week between "Approval" and "Card Produced"
