  1. as of today, what are the patterns youve recognized for who gets issued the ds5535?
  2. ok. i wasnt sure if they would want to update our travel history in our ds260 at our interview since it hasnt been updated since 2021
  3. it isnt asked on the interview checklist, but i was curious if my mom and i should bring our i94 to our interview, seeing as we spend most winters in america.
  4. would it be a good idea to mention that we now have a home in america? we have our petitioner and a few joint sponsors, but after all of these years we decided to buy a house in america. we only spend the winter there (and ofcourse we will bring i94 to prove that) just wondering if its worth bringing up, if the interviewer asks what we plan on doing in america once we get there.
  5. it is a violent user name, (i thought it was goth and egdy at that age) but i seriously wouldnt have given it in my ds260 if i thought the content on that account would raise concerns (I usually would just post silly tweets) and tbh i wouldve been paranoid if i wouldnt have given it too. i cannot win
  6. I have an interview at the montreal embassy for a family based visa in july. What class visas are ds5535 usually given to? Im getting nervous because I used to use a edgy name on social media and now im paranoid itll be the reason i get served a DS5535 =_=
  7. I'm a canadian woman derivative in a family based green card application. In 2020 I had to give my social media's, and being as honest as possible I listed my twitter and instagram usernames which are definitely considered "edgy". i would've been paranoid if i wouldn't have listed them either. Now that Ive got my interview I'm paranoid that it will be scrutinized when I am in fact not a criminal and have never been associated with anything criminal. Would this username be seen as grounds for visa denial?
  8. date of filing was 10 nov 2015 approval of i130 was 22 november 2020 turned 21 dec 2018
  9. Hello! I was born in Canada. My grandmother is a green card holder in america and filed for my mother's petition back in 2014-2015 (unmarried adult) which put my mom in the F2B category. She filed my application alongside hers, as i was underage. (applicant of a child under 21) who will be immigrating with main applicant. That being said, when we applied I was under the age of 21. Now, 9 years later we finally have our interview. I am 26 years old and was wondering if I will be aged out at the interview or if they will use the CPSA age. (i've figured out my cspa age before and it said i was ok but i'm not sure if the montreal embassy evencares) I'm writing this fast because I'm very nervous but alsoexcited. If you have any info that could help that would begreat.
