  1. Yeah i think i will send them the long form Finnish and english version, and just in case get it translated too. So hopefully that's enough ๐Ÿ˜…
  2. Yeah, i rather do some extra work than get denied, so thank you for the advice!๐Ÿ˜Š
  3. Just add, we can order our birth certificates in english from digital and population data service agency, but there is no translator information, so do i need to get separate translator to my birth certificate? or is that version enough?
  4. Hello! We received RFE about my birth certificate which kinda confuses me, since i added it our i-485 application. RFE said: ''Submit an English translation with the applicantโ€™s foreign birth certificate issued by the appropriate civil authority. If the document is in a language other than English, you must submit a copy of the foreign language document and an English translation. For the foreign language document, we will only accept a long-form birth certificate which lists at least one parent''. I checked the requirments from uscis website and i did send english version of my long form birth certficate with stamp. So should i order my Finnish version of my birth certificate, since i didin't add that. Could that be the reason why we got RFE? Thank you in advance! ps. can't update my timeline for some reason.
  5. Thank you for your reply, im happy to hear that! Best of luck for your interview! ๐Ÿ™‚
  6. Hi! We got the exact same RFE and we are very confused what we did wrong, we double checked everything. What did you end up doing? What papers, proofs etc you were adding on it? Did you send the RFE back fixed thru mail or thru the USCIS account?
  7. Yes i really much recommend to have everything with you, becouse you never know what they need haha ๐Ÿคฃ
  8. Thank you!๐Ÿ˜Š They only asked my printed ds-160 confirmation page, birth certificate, police certificate and medical examination, in the interview even tho i had prepared all the papers with me haha ๐Ÿ˜ The list of documents they asked in mail was: Ds-160 confirmation page Passport 2x photos, passport style Birth certificate Police certificate Evidence of support Medical examination Evidence of relationship Court and prison records Military records Marriage termination/divorce degrees There you go ๐Ÿ˜Š
  9. Hi! Sorry for taking such a long time to write how it all went in Sweden etc. I've been so busy planning with my moving, but im finally here in the Usa, so happy to be here! Whenever you have your interview date, book asap the medical since there is only 2 doctors that do that in Helsinki and usually they are pretty booked. I was able to get my medical 11 days before my interview, and they told me the results will take 2 weeks. Luckily my doctor was extremely nice and send my papers right away, so i was able to go pick them up, day before i left to Sweden! Also yes, you need to go pick the medical envelope from their office in Helsinki, they don't mail them. You need to have your vaccines up to date and have them printed with you. I had to take one booster and it was indeed quite expensive there. I traveled to Sweden few days before my interview, and spend long weekend there. Embassy was very easy to find and everything went super quick there. They first collected my papers and took finger prints, after that i waited and then i had my interview. Very basic questions, when we met, where, when he proposed etc. And then they took my passport and told they will send my things in 2 weeks. All that took like 30 minutes ๐Ÿ˜… They sended my passport and my envelope less than a week thru UPS. If there is anything you want ask, i'll do my best to answer!๐Ÿ˜Š
  10. Im not sure, atleast they told me when i booked my appointment that i need to have all my vaccines on date. And if not they will give them to me in the appointment and it's extra fee. That's how it was in Finland and my experience.
  11. Yes it is a must. I just went through the medical in Helsinki, it was very simple, but you do need to have all the vacciness up to date, they were very strict about it. You need to have all the vacciness printed out from "omakanta", or if you still have the old "neuvolakortti", you can have that too. I had one vaccine that i needed to take in the medical exam, and it was quite expensive to add on it, so i recommend to have everything ready before the medical exam. But yeah it's mandatory to everyone who applies visa in US.
