  1. You’ve correctly seen that I haven’t arrived yet. My I-94 should still be very lengthy as I’ve visited the US around four times a year for the past two years. It’s very odd that no record is found.
  2. It isn't showing so that does sound like an issue... if anybody else has every experienced this, please let me know!
  3. Hi dear VisaJourney community, I am currently preparing my AOS documentation so that when we are ready, we can file them as quickly as possible. One of the requirements for Form I-485 is to provide my I-94. I have an extensive I-94 as I've been hopping back and forth between NL and the US every few months. I provided it during my K1 application. However, when I tried to pull up my I-94 today...the website said there was no record of my travels. Which is very odd. Is this normal after a status change (from VWP to K1)? Should I send a message to the CBP? (I checked if I had filled in my details correctly...five times)
  4. I was able to make appointments that were a week away up to two months away. Your mileage may vary.
  5. Absolutely yes it will very much affect their future visits or visa applications. Staying longer than permitted is taken extremely seriously and can result in a ban from entering the USA for up to ten years or even permanently. Even staying for one day longer than your visa permits could result in a ban or at least make it very difficult to obtain a new visa. Do not overstay.
  6. I did not wait, and I am glad I didn't as I never received the packet. All the information is available online so go for it.
  7. If you did your medical at the IHCH, you can e-mail them and they will send you the DS-3025 to you digitally. That's what I did for mine.
  8. Congrats! The most excruciating part is most probably over. Unfortunately , the system does not care about fairness. It looks like you still have some waiting to do.
  9. Not sure what you mean by 'the live scan person'. The question is, do you actually need a 'live scan' for your visa petition? Probably not. Please note that most forum members recommend you file your own petition and application, as simple cases are better done by yourself. It tends to prevent issues because you care way more about getting it right than third parties do. If you'd like professional assistance, you could approach some of the organisations that are trusted by VisaJourney members such as Boundless. As you are the applicant, you will probably need to disclose your arrests even if you were not convicted. Copied from the form:
  10. I don't know anything about the embassy in Morocco, but in general this seems to be taking a little longer than usual. Has the passport courier service been taken care of? (you paid for it, the service knows the address)
  11. You're not even close to getting your NOA2. There's still quite a few months of waiting to go..
  12. Did you wait three business days for a response? (your message doesn't specify when you emailed)
  13. Depends on the embassy. Check your embassy specific instructions. Standard is English but sometimes they can do it in the native language of the country that the embassy is in.
  14. Make sure to send a copy and not the original!
  15. I suspect it won’t be a problem. I think it would be smart to provide an official record of your name change with your petition so that they can verify it’s you.
  16. You said yourself that it was. Withdrawals are irrevocable and the petitioner sent a request for withdrawal. So it was, uscis just hasn’t processed the request yet. You have to start all over again. Send in a new petition and make sure you check the box asking if you ever applied before.
  17. Processes pertaining your application (i.e. background checks). Usually an embassy keeps your passport if they expect processing to be relatively quick. It's the only indicator we have. Unfortunately, the only thing you can do right now is wait (as far as I know).
  18. Usually when nothing is asked, it means that some processes of the embassy have not been finished and it is nothing you can influence (otherwise, they would have asked you to provide it). Did the embassy take your passport?
  19. It really is nothing to worry about. My approval took 222 days. Don't look at the approval estimates, it'll only ramp up your anxiety (as it did for me and I regret looking at it so much).
  20. Which was not an answer to the question you posed - I was trying to stick to the subject. I'm convinced you've already made up your mind. I wish you all the best!
  21. Hi OP, you asked if people on this forum believe whether it’s worth it to fly to Manila to be part of the tourist visa interview. The general consensus seems to be no. You can try, though. Who knows, you might be lucky. Either way, you got your answer. lets move it along, y’all
  22. Even though I'd give the beneficiary another chance, I'd be very critical of this situation. Not only due to missing the interview, but also the concerning situation where the beneficiary in question is starting a new food business a few months before leaving the country and their business behind? This is a confusing course of action to me - unless the business in question is immediately taken care of by someone else and the beneficiary acts as an angel investor of sorts. OP, please be very careful and weigh your options.
  23. If you are referring to the embassy specific instructions ( see here for Frankfurt ), all the required documents on that list refer to the beneficiary, except the I-134 (Declaration of FInancial Support) and the evidence required for that form.
  24. Vaccinations will be checked during the medical exam. If the vaccines are not complete, the doctor offers to administer the required vaccines. So you get the vaccines during the medical which is usually before the interview (but not always).
