  1. I think its so WEIRD that they make them get a Gyno exam!!

maybe because all those damn Carnivals and std's? J/K

    :innocent:

Ginecological????? for myt K1 in peru that was not necesary. maybe in Brazil the medical is different i dont know....... in peru they check you have certain vaccines according to your age, also chest X rays to discard TBC and blood test to know if you have at least aids.... i am not sure about siphilis but if you have aids you wont get the visa.

the medical is a fast review.... i have allergies, had one hernia operation, take birth control pills (permanent medication) but all that is common and not reason to discualify.

yeah... it also sounds to me like you guys are trying to hide something.......

    K.

  2. gynecological exam NO!

and what are u hiding ? or are u being just curious?

Couldn't find the info on the archives, so I am asking.

How much medical history - if any - do you have to provide at the medical exam (this is for the exam prior to K-1 visa interview)? If asked, do you have to be truthful and mention diseases/illnesses/accidents/etc... that will not be discovered during the test?

Because the medical exam (and tests) is to try and discover anything that would meet the guidelines for refusal, I am wondering why they would ask for medical history anyway.

To you women out there who went through the medical test, is there a gynecological exam and what is the doctor looking for (if he told you)? I was reading on this forum that one doctor only wanted to check that the woman was indeed a woman and just took a quick glance.

  3. yes I didnt want to wait any longer, it says on the USCIS page that they will take the version updated in may, worse comes to worst, they will send an rfe and u just send that to them updated and theres not really a big delay, i sent that one i dont think they will put in a new one soon, it takes a while for them to make changes sometimes, and i didnt want to wait =)

HI there.. I will definitely file my AOS this month. Makes me a September filer! I wanna ask... what I-765 form you submitted? I am waiting for the new version coz I am afraid of RFE. YOu think its ok to use the old form which expired last August 31,2008!

    Thanks!

    Vida Taylor

  4. Hi all:

I figured this will help whoever is filing AOS soon and is also sending and EAD, the form expires on aug 30th However, it can be used as long as the edition on the bottom left side reads 05/27/08 , in the uscis page says the following

Application for Employment Authorization I-765 $340 05/27/08. No previous editions accepted.

so even if it expired on the top as long as is the new edition we are good to go ;)

    bye  and good luck

  5. typo error thanks im sending the marriage certificate copy though!

    Thanks for noticing

You mention the Marriage "license". It's not actually the marriage license you need to attach, it's the marriage "certificate".

The license is what was needed in order to "get" married, the certificate is what shows you "are" married (from the court house after the wedding).

Good luck for a speedy approval.

  8. yup thats it! Thank u !!!

    i found this as well

6.2.1)....I-485 - Adjustment of status.... I am asked for my Nonimmigrant visa number, is this the one under the control number or is it the one at the bottom of the visa ??

A...On the adjustment of status forms, there is a box for the visa number. This is the red number printed on the K-1, not the visa control number. I know this because the interviewer went over the forms in front of us, and crossed out what I wrote in there (the visa control number) and replaced it with the red number.(Note: this is on the lower right side, under the "expiry date". It is not the long number written along the bottom edge of the visa.)

    back

Yes, the visa number is the red 8 digit number on the visa, lower right corner.

Hello, I have my Husbands passport and im trying to find the visa number to type it into the I 485 application form..

The visa has a control number that starts with 2008 and another number that it has is a number with red letters is that it?

the other numbers are his peruvian passport number and his A# ... sooo? is the red letters the visa number???

    Thank u !!!

    :help:

Do, you have his I-94 or your NOA2 the A number is there. The number starting with 2008 is the passport control number.

sorry, i was looking for the visa number not the A#

    Thanks anyway

  10. It all depends when i get the damned transcripts !!!!!!!

and then off we go, what if i can send them until after the 31st ? its their fault if they dont have a new revision isnt it?!

Im sending my AOSpaperwork god willing by the end of this week, just waiting for transcripts and we are ready to go !

My question is, the EAD fORm expires on Aug 31st 08, i will be sending the aos by the 27 th when they get it im sure it will be around the 31st or sept 1st , is that a big deal will it be rejected?!

    Just curiouS  s

Hmm tomorrow is the 27th , I think you'll be fine just make sure its the new REVISION look on the lower right of the EAD form and it must be the new revision which is 5/27/08. Good luck

  11. I was very OCD with my I 129 F....

I made so organizedthat at the embassy later on asked me if i did it because it was better that what lawyers do .. =)

anyway u wont need the i 134 yet however i included mine in the package just for the sake of it... they liked that

make sure u use fasteners not big clips and separate each evidence with colors so its more fun=)

make sure u put the pics on little plastic folders so they can see them ..

I saw some post on the other website regarding k-1 petition documents some were sending I-134.

Do i really need to send this?Because i dont see it on this site and can some one tell me a little idea on how

you put the documents all together?did you use a folder, binder etc. to make it look neat and well arrange?

  12. Im in the middle of hte same process, you wont need that unless is required by them if u get to have an interview!

Just send whatever the guides and uscis intrsuctions ask for..

You wont need pics or common residence proofs at this point!

    Good luck

Are documents such as joint bank account ect ect for proof of common residence and things such as marriage photos and proof of genuine marriage needed only at the interview stage or do they need to be included in the AOS submission? Thanks
  13. dont freak out im waiting for mine as well!

trasncripts are th ecopies of ur files taxes !

I ordered my Tax Transcript from IRS yesterday, and it says would be delivered in 10 days.

If someone ordered it, what was your experience?? Have it really took that long?? Is anyone tried to expedited it for a fee?

The reason I need it fast because I soon to be in a stage to send my AOS to NVC, and I thought that I am fully prepared. But then I decide to ask operator- if I filed them electronically would the copy of it be OK, and she said that I need to order Transcripts.

However after that conversation I realized that I have not filled them electronically. I've done my Taxes through Tax Preparer.

And now I don't know if I can send that ? Is it different copy then if I filled electronically??

I ordered transcripts, but afraid that it will slow me down...

Please share your thoughts on it!

correcting the fyuguy post .. NO if u send transcripts u dont need to send ur W2'S transcripts are enough and YES they accpet them , and it takes a week or so ...

Printed copies of your tax return are the same ...... regardless of filing method... the difference is how the IRS received them...

Thanks, I understand that..., however it does not answer my question....

How long it REALLY takes to get them (based on real people experience) and if someone sent copy of it and NOT Transcripts, and it was accepted ?

The SAME (as long as you include your entire Form 1040 & W-2's\1099's)

  14. Im talking abt if i send irs tax transcripts i need the W2's

I read on the instructions u dont, so be careful with ur answers, i went back and read it to make sure.

    thanks

    Hi all!

We are now Aug filers, too!

    A couple quick questions......

further to the last couple posts....are you talking about including w2's with copy of last years Tax filing? where does it say that w2's are needed as well?

...and - has anyone had (or heard of) more problems with the I-765 application for EAD form expiring soon (as someone noted earlier)??

    Thanks!

    Annie

  15. I didnt see this thread!! i created one too =)

    im filling mine next week!

QUESTION if im sending tax transcripts for affidavit i dont needx w2 right?

Woo-hoo! I got my biometrics appointment letter today! Less than two weeks after sending off the AOS package! My appointment is September 9th at 10:00am! I can't believe how fast that was. *__*

    I'm nervous already. Haha...

OOPS! That's supposed to be September 2nd, not the 9th!! *headdesk*

  16. ha ha i just read the shoutouts =)

I just remembered how it felt being sooo happy!!!

From now everything flows soo fast!

I remember calling the embassy in peru and asking for the interview daate, give it a couple of days and call the NVC center here first and ask if they sent ur paperwork to peru if u did, they were supposed to give u NEW CASE NUMBER.... with that u wait a couple of days and call the embassy in peru and ask when will ur interview will be =) its quicker than waiting for them to send him the packet 3

have ur fiance start his paperwork antecedentes penales judiciales y policiales ready

if u have any questions HOLLA back at me lol!

    Besitos amiguita
