We are leaving on a jet planeeeeeeeeeeee!! Tomorrow we will be soaking sun in KEY WEST!!! then we are heading ot south beach for a couple of days and then ORLANDOOOO WE are so excited ..

Since he cant get out of the country yet we figured we will go to USAs little islands and have a fabulous honey moon!

I just want to let you know that our wedding was this last saturday. The ceremony was at our house. It was simple but beautiful. My husband's family, some friends and of course our sons. We took many pictures and we will be sharing them with you as soon as we can. It was the happiest day of my life!!!!!!!! . And I want to share this happiness with you.

Now we will start with the paperswork.

Hello we're sept filers!!! woohoo!!

LoL...packet was sent Sept 20, and received sept 22, check cashed sept 26...........still waiting for NOA but I'm almost positie we're getting it this week. I'm just amazed at how fast things are going for the AOS.......for the K-1 EVERYTHING was slooooooooooooow, especially since I filed in July, right before the price increase......anyways everything happens for a reason, I'm just glad that things are finally coming along

anyone going thru the miami Office?? Don't know if we'll be transferred there but since we live in S. Fla, that is probably there, either that or West Palm, I highly doubt we'll be transferred to Orlando...

EXCITING !! My Hubby got his biometrics done today ! no problems!

they asked him for the appointment letter and his state ID

he was out of there in 20 minutes

now waiting for the approvals!!!!

Filed for EAD and AOS.

Congrats, everything is fine. Isa went to Dr. Lari and and was just told everything was fine when she got the package. Just make sure he does not open it up. Congrats again and good luck with the interview.

no matter what people say u dont have to take antecedentes to be legalized to el ministerio del exterior because u are in peru and this doc are being showed at the embassy there,, so WATCH out..

the only thing that neeeds to be legalized for el ministerio del exterior is ur birthcertificate the one u will bring here when u are travelling for future purposes like AOS =)

From the USCIS webpage: (update from aug 18)

The correct version of the Application for Employment Authorization (Form I-765) is dated 05/27/08.

That one says expires aug 31 in the corner. but I think they mean the old version not that version so you should be okay.

Yesterday I talked to Luis & he told me that the embassy scheduled our interview for October 2nd.

I'm so excited and nervous!! Most of all, I can't wait to see him again, I miss him so much.

It looks like he'll be in NY with me for my birthday and for his in November!

Hi everybody and all september fillers!

I got married last sunday and sent the AOS/AP/EAD on friday... So here we go!! I hope I filled everything ok and that I provided all the required documents

I just want to share a pretty bad experience: The I-693 vaccination part signed by a doctor. I had all the required med exam and vaccinations, and TB and everything, so the doctor just filled out the vaccination record of I-693 and signed the form. It took maybe 15min in total. And they charged me.... $313!!! Can you believe that?? God I was sooo angry, soo so angry

So an advice to people who haven't been through all that yet and don't need to retake any med exam: Don't bother seeing a doctor, just send your form to doctor Arnold in TX as a lot of people did and you will save a lot of money!! I mean, I was kind of worried about doing that, and that is why I didn't do it... And now I can only cry because they charged me so much...

Oh well, it is life, right?? And hopefully soon, I will remember all that like a bad dream... Because it will be worth it!!!

I agree, it's frustrating to go through all the stress and worries to finally arrive at such an expensive anticlimax...

I've had bad experiences pretty much every time I filed for a work visa or reentered the US. So now that I'm filing for the GC, I'm extremely nervous and worried that something will again go wrong.

i used the old one as long as it is updated on 5/27 u are good to go !

Vida, I checked on the USCIS website a moment ago and the only form available for the I-765 has the expiry date of 8/31/08. If you are worried about using it, maybe a call to your local office to ask about using that form would ease your mind. Otherwise, if that's the only form available, I can't see why they wouldn't accept it.
