Hay grabing culture shock ko. Buti nalng kahit madali lng laundry dito heheh... No sweat. Kahit nga sa washer no sweat din upo. KYa siguro taba ng mga tao dito. HAy pati ba naman sa food . Isang serve dito and dami ng makakakain sa pinas dito isang tao kulang pa wow naman. Btw ung size ng damit ko dito kiddy size. Pinagkamalan pa naman akong anak ng hubby ko wow. I'm soooo young sa mata nila. I need to bring my passport kahit saan. Tingin daw nila sa akin 12 years old . Wow .... Di ko talaga keri ang food nila. Puro meat meat meat. Ayaw ng hubby ko ng vege at walang vege na katulad sa pinas..yay...I'm craving for pinoy food.Pauljoy
lol. Yung serving nila dito sa resto pwd co nang 2 or 3 times meal hehehe. ang dami kace eh. hehehe

oo nga kakaiba pusher nila dito, buti na lang may dala ako. kakaiba din dito sa fastfood, sa pinas iniiwan ko lang pinagkainan ko kasi may tagalinis dito hindi. rude ka pag iniwan mo yun hahahha. enjoy din ako sa movie house, pasok lang ng card lalabas na ticket mo. sa airport naman di na kailangan bitbit ng ticket, online check in lang and presto, lalabas na boarding pass mo! halos lahat card eh, bumibili ako gamit debit card then click ng cash back hehhehe.
Ozzzzzzzzzzzzzzz naalala ko nung kumain kami ni Rodge sa Jolibee...tumayo na ako agad...nanlaki mata niya kasi bakit ko raw iniwan yung pinagkainan ko...hehehehhe ang ginawa niya niligpit niya pinagkainan namin....laking tawa ko tapos ask ko siya sabi sa US hindi ganyan....ehhehhehehehhehe

I thought when you paid delbros early..everything is going well..but its not...there are some excuses..and so on ..don't just rely what Richard told you ..He told me that mine was 1-4 weeks before my interview...and then i call again before my interview and he said..15 working days and wait at the embassy...but after my interview..I found out that my DV is not yet done and it was still at the nso!..ive got white slip!..
So I make a calls to the embassy even my fiance too..and Grace told me that the process was 4-6 weeks...omg...then we call up again at the nso..and Richard told me that i have a common name...what!..everybody has a common name and they are not just relying only on my last name and how many people will born on the same date, day and place ...and the parents...
I don't know how are they doing the right process...and why it took so long ... he told to my fiance that it will take 4 weeks ...my fiance said ..it already been 4 weeks!
The thing is..Ive got my latest cenomar and bc from the nso..and already filed for verification for four weeks ago.
what are the process are they doing to verify a simple document to one person if they have a database...So all in all its gonna be 8 weeks! ..
and in the end he told us to call back on friday and we'll see what is the next excuse..

I just want to let my VJ family that (after 6 days in manila) I’m done with my medical and interview and everything went soo smooth! Thanks God! My interview with the CO was so easy and I guess it takes just a minute or two. Overall, it ended around 9:30am.I’ve also have a chance to met some of our VJ family like jas_noel(jasmin), LizScott(Liza), God’s girl(Lyn), frostysoftyeaton(addy) and Christopherandevan (geline).
LizScott (Liza) – congrats Liz.. Don’t worry about your white slip. U got it since your DV is not yet at the embassy. If only your DV was done before your interview, you’ll also (only) got pink slip. Anyway, nice meeting you Liz and your pretty daughter
God’s Girl (Lyn) – lyn, sorry we didn’t wait u anymore coz I knw it takes a little bit longer if we’ll wait u.. BTW, how was it? Plz let me knw what happened that day.. I hope and I pray that everything is ok. Nice meeting u too Lyn..

hello my name is rachel and i fell in love overseas with an iraqi local. And i want to marry him. Ive looked over the process for the I-129F and the K-1 just here and there and for the past 2 days now. I understand most of it, but i want to know before i dedicate myself would he even have a chance of getting in the US. Also i want to ask if he gets approved, and the NVC starts the process of sending the packet to the embassy, they have to have a way of contacting him, but they dont have a mailing system where he lives. How do I deal with that? Right now im kind of all over the place in my thoughts, and i just need help.

He went back to Germany yesterday and I'm really sad being without him, especially knowing I won't see him for many months while we wait for his visa. I can't travel to see him until New Year's. . I'm 33 years old and from the Netherlands and my fiance (from the US) and I have filed for a K1 visa last week... so the big waiting has begun!
Well, actually we are waiting since we first met, almost 2 years ago. Nobody said it would be easy and it sure isn´t!
But reading the stories of people who went through the same, sure helps a lot! Thank you all for that.
When I (hopefully soon!!) get my visa, i'm gonna live in Virginia... so of course if there are already dutch people living there,
I would love to hear from them.
We have filed our visa request through a lawyer, but I'm still not sure if this is making it better or worse... time will tell.
At least it's filed in Vermont, and I saw that it's going a little faster than the other service centers...

I can't tell you how releived i am to have found this forum, It has lifted my spirits sooo much, I really am alot more relaxed since reading just a couple of your stories.
I am From Ireland, My boy is in the US, I'm only back in dublin about 3 weeks, and i spend every second i have trying to find ways to make things go faster.
We were told yesterday (and correct me if this is wrong) That if he were to come here and get married here in dublin, that if we then apply for our papers and i go back with him, it will take a shorter ammount of time??
I'm willing to try anything to make it so we dont have to wait forever to see each other, Obviously we want to do things properly and with in the law. I want to spend the rest of my life there.
Its all such a scary process. I am terrified right now.

Hi, my name is Andrew and I've found this website after doing some research, and becoming very overwhelmed!I'm 21 years old and living in the UK. My girlfriend is the same age and living the the US. We've been in a long-distance relationship for nearly 6 years now, and we just want to finally be together! But not being terribly smart on this topic, I have absolutely no-idea what our options are.
I don't know how I can legally be with my girlfriend or how much money I'll need. I was hoping to find some direction or advice!
I have lived in the US, 2 years ago I applied for a student visa and studied at university. But the tuition costs got the better of me and I was forced to return home. For the past year I've been working full time as a Senior Web Developer, (in the UK) with skills that I can use where ever I am. I'm hoping this will help us and our case.
I've also been able to put away some savings to start our life together - but its difficult to really gauge how much money I will need to carry this out.
Its a really scary and exciting time, I love my girlfriend very much and where I believe this long-distance has really strengthened our relationship we both feel it's time to move to the next step.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My named Elizabeth! My fiance & I have decided to finally bridge the gap between us. He lives in the UK and I in the USA. We were friends for a few months before he came to visit and we hit it off immediately. Another visit soon followed, before I went to London for a week and he came home with me and stayed last summer(getting to know my family, getting a feel for the country, ect.). This past yeah has been tough since he had to quit his job to come over here and hasn't had much luck in a better one. I haven't seen him in nearly a year. We're working on getting everything together, but I'm a bit overwhelmed and highly paranoid that something will go wrong. But anyway, hello!

For me i believe that's part of a relationship. We experienced that also and once in awhile we still experiencing that, since we are now together everyday sometimes we just sit together and have run out of words to say, we ended up stare and cuddle each other. Lol. Don't think that you bore her. There is no such space for boring in Love.
