im just wondering if there's any one aside from filipinos who believes in evil eye hex (usog)??

I think i still believe with that. Somewhat.

Where can I download the DS-3025? I can't find it anywhere on the Dept of State website, and the other immigration help sites like VJ have old versions that have already expired.

I believe I am able to have my fiance (Mexico) bring the DS-3025 for the medical exam, where the doctor can fill out the form for adjustment of status.

It's a vaccination record given at the applicant after the medical exam. You can't download it.

I met a girl yesterday. She came to our house with my dad-in-law. She is 23 years old. I am showing her my family pictures taken in the Philippines in my friendster and all of a sudden she asked me, how did you get that pictures? I said i took that pictures. And then she rephrased it and asked me, Do you have digicam or cellhphone with camera in the Philippines? ( I was like Lol! Of course we do have that.) But i hold my laugh and i just answered her "yes, we have."

I told my husband about that incident when he got home and i told him about my visitor's question, how funny stupid question is that for thinking no digicams or camphones in Philippines. Lol.

Just how much proof should be presented in providing evidence of our relationship? I've got hundreds of photos, approximately 873 pages of YM chats (legal size paper, back-to-back...and that is just from May 2007 to May 2008), about 300 emails, 4-inch thick stack of letters/cards, the guestbook from our wedding reception as well as the financial details of it, joint bank accounts and credit cards. Oh...and a 128-picture wedding album. My husband and I had been debating a bit on this issue, especially with the chats. We need some insight.

I was on K3 too and what my pre-screener and CO concerned more were couple of pictures of me and my husband. It won't hurt though if you want to bring that all. I am just suggesting that make separate pictures that's not placed in a thick album coz the window where you'll insert the evidences are just small and narrow, the same what envy_me posted on her thread.

I think depende sa place cguro. Here in my place too bad i don't have a permit yet, i am getting couple of job offers already. Some of them told me it's okay even if i don't have the SSN yet but since i am afraid i will have problems with immigration if i work without permit i just told them i need to have a work permit for me to start working.

I am so happy, at 3pm today I received my visa. Last July 3rd was my interview, and it took almost 6 weeks for it to arrive. I never thought it would ever get here, and I am beginning to think I'll have my baby here. Now, my baby will be born in Chicago. My husband will be here on Sunday evening to pick me up. We will be leaving for US on September 3. To all vj members, I extend my heartfelt thanks and God bless to all who is still waiting for their visa. You'll all receive it soon.

I decided to have my medical exam yesterday even though i just had a hard cough and colds.It went alright but when i got the result this afternoon,it turned out that i need to undergo a sputum test,i never knew about it until the medical staff explained it to me,she said that i need to go there for 3 consecutive days between 6-8:30 in the morning to do the test and they will just be the one to call the embassy to re-sched my interview date.this is so disappointing,i always had a yearly PE but never had this before.i was told that it'll take 2mos to get the result ,does it really have to be that long?

i thought it'll just be a few weeks away and me and my fiance will be together again,now it'll take more months.sometimes i think life is unfair but oh well,what can i do.

You might want to consider talking to Ninfa, you can book a flight now and just confirm it when Ting's visa arrived. Or you can just re-schedule the flight if the visa won't make it on time.

I got my ticket from Ninfa. Everything was easy if you made yours arranged by a travel agency like where Ninfa works. When it comes to payment, i just deposited in their account. No hassle. Good luck.

Congrats roserick, wow that's quite a wait for GC, they said only two weeks upon arrival in US. But at least you have it now, Congratulations again.

We finally received my wife's green card...

It took nearly 3 months!! So disappointed with USCIS..

On the DS-230 they asked you a question on where do you want the green card to be delivered and my wife answered that correctly with our correct address.

On the Visa Data Summary sheet our address was wrong.. So we called the US Embassy Manila and they said its going to be fine, no hassle.

Upon POE we told the POE officer also that the Address is wrong on the Visa Data Summary sheet, she took the correct address and entered it on her computer.

After a month and still no welcome letter and of course no green card. We called USCIS and they told us, they have sent the Welcome letter to the address provided and I asked them what address was that and they told me the wrong address..

So incompetent.. I had to argue my wife's case stating why ask the question on the DS-230 if their not even going follow it.

Well the bottom line is this fairy tale story has finally ended and we finally got my wife's green card..

Thank You all for all your help... This was a great forum to share my journey..
