If I have my way , I would never go for K-1. back in the day maybe , but Now K-1 is costing more and take longer.

it's take 15-months holly #######.!!! are you filling for K-1 ? was there an issued or just normal process time frame.

He Entered to JFK Oct-18 , Got married at the courthouse Nov-7 , wedding Nov-24 , submit Only I-485 (not all the other forms) on Dec-4 To Chicago lock box "elgin, IL 60124-7700" so confused about where to send the package ( for me anyway), today Dec-11 the check cashed. Let see how thing move from here. !! just want to share the lock box location for New Yorker and time frame for December-2024 AOS K-1.

Today 10/16 he got his visa in hand. flight already booked for Thursday 10/17. he will arrival to New York JFK Friday Morning. now we have to deal with wedding and the next set of paperwork/forms/fee....ect...ect are you back to the states with your Fiance ?

You actually received your Visa on 10/6 (Sunday)? I was looking to have him leave on Wed 10/16 , but Monday is Holiday so hopefully Tuesday he will get the Visa. Still waiting for case tracker to change "ISSUED".

After 10-months today we got the approval , just wait for the visa.

that is weird, K-1 you can not upload but you have to mail in the photo for via. you should check the request letter from them. We were in AP for 7-months and got the letter that we needed to send in new medical-visa photo and passport. (maybe each country is difference)

3-months after the phone called, we are get an Email "R1" to submit new visa photo and medical " since both have been over six months" and passport. almost there....!!!

Every case is not the same. no one know what the embassy looking for, bring everything that you have and you are right if thing not upload in the I-129F much chance you will get the blue slip.

So the After the Interview He got the first blue slip "R2-E" , we submitted all the documents requested, 1 week later we got a new blue slip "blank don't have any code" deliver to the house. Is this mean we are done. is anyone have any input or experience or ever get this type of notice "blank not code R2-V, R2-E ...ect." I look everywhere couldn't find any advised of what are we up to next and how long to get the final answer. Thanks
