  1. Hi  to all 🙂!!! Almost a year, finally I got my green card approval notice today thru My USCIS account.  I will just wait in my mailbox the actual letter and my green card. This website helped me a lot in processing my papers from K1 to green card approval (DIY). No interview, thank God.  I appreciate all of you who shared their experiences., I learned a lot from you guys.  Once again, thank you and good luck to all of us in the next processing (ROC).🙂

Nice, does seem to be yet more unknown amount of time but at least it isn't sat at the NBC.

Nice! Tried to get my driver's license at the Michigan SoS and I am stuck waiting for my SAVE to be verified/checked/whatever it is they are doing. 😕

I applied last February for AB 60 driver's license because I can't provide my legal  residency when I applied. I already passed the written exam and need to pass the behind the wheel test. I am also waiting to be verified. No calls yet from them.

Also, my husband got an email yesterday from the field office nearest us. It was a courtesy email saying our case has already been transferred and to submit the 693 and substantial proof of marriage if we want. Hoping that's a good sign that things are moving with our green card case!

Hi! Got a courtesy notice too via email. Are you going to submit I-693 and proof of marital status? Actually, this is my second time to receive courtesy notice, first last November 2022 via mail and now via email. I did not respond to the first courtesy. Thanks

Yes from K1. My status says Card is Being Produced. In the Document tab for Form I-765 in my USCIS account there is an approval letter. In the Form I-131 is says there Case Closed.

I got 5 emails 4am today saying "we have taken action on your case". Hopefully they are also working on my AOS. But anyways I still happy having my EAD approved.

Good for you!! Are you adjusting from K1?
Mine was delivered yesterday after a whole week of no status updates whatsoever. It went straight from “card was produced” to me got it in the mail.

Yes from K1. My status says Card is Being Produced. In the Document tab for Form I-765 in my USCIS account there is an approval letter. In the Form I-131 is says there Case Closed.

The first expedition was on 02/14/23. I got an email requesting additional documents a few hours after referral number was created. I faxed all docs later on the same day.
Did not hear anything in the meantime. I decided to fax the same docs 2 more times a few days after.
Half a mont went by, decided to give another try. Second expedition was on 03/01/23. Got the same email I got the first time within a few hours. Faxed THE SAME docs I did the first time right away.

    Got it approved on 03/06/23.

Hi! Got a good news today. I checked My USCIS account and my EAD and Advance Parole were approved after a week I faxed the evidences. Thank God. I can start searching right now for work 🙂

I've faxed 3 times and still no response yet, it has been over 7 days for me too (7 business days too). 😕

Hi! I contacted this morning the USCIS to expedite my EAD due to financial loss, after 3 hrs I received an email asking me to fax the proof. Im going to fax the proof tomorrow. Would that be okay if aside from faxing them can I also upload the proof in my uscis account to make sure that they received it or wait their response in my fax? Thank you.

Hi, they asked for the evidence of our martial life as:

    - doc of joint ownership of property

    - lease showing the same residence

    - joint bank account, joint utilities bills, joint insurance policies, etc

    - birth certificate of children together

    - photos of wedding and other events

    - sworn affidavits from people knowing our valid marriage

    What is your field office?

@confusedsoul hi, just wanna update you, I received an official request for evidence letter. And they don’t ask for the form i693. So maybe you don’t need to worry about it.

Hi! Thats great at least you can reply now to them. Unfortunately, i haven't gotten any letter from them. It's been 2 months since the courtesy letter. May I know what they asked from you in the rfe

@confusedsoul Hi, I was in the same situation and received the exact courtesy notice.  My vaccination record DS3025 was dated in May. I filed AoS in October and got that notice yesterday (dec 30). Did you end up filing the i693? Is your application based on spousal relationship, if yes, have you submitted the martial relationship evidence on your original application and what were they?

Hi Thuyle !  I contacted USCIS thru Emma and the representative I chatted she said I will submit the information once the USCIS sends a request  or I will take that to the interview . I came here as a K1. I just included marriage cert and some wedding pictures when I submit my AOS. I really want to do the medical now and submitted it to expedite my AOS as what the letter says but what I am worried now is that if I do my medical and submitted it to them then a week or a  month I will receive the request then I will do another medical because the doctor will not give me another copy of it. Please try to contact the USCIS next week and let us see if they will say the same thing to you to wait for the request of evidence then kindly updated me here. Thanks in Advance and Happy New Year.

  11. I just received this notice in my mail dated Nov. 22, 2022. When I filed my AOS last Sept. 16, 2022, I included my vaccination record DS-3025 which was dated May 5, 2022. It says here if I have not yet submitted the form I-693 I may do so to expedite my processing BUT it also says here that this notice is not the formal request for evidence. Anyone here  got this kind of letter? What did you do guys? Did you submit without the formal request of evidence? Do I have to wait for the formal request for evidence so I will know what kind of vaccines do I need? Thanks in advance for the reply

    I'm very sorry for you.

You also have another issue. You cannot stay in this relationship just for immigration purposes. Buying time to get AOS and not have him catch on that you are already planning to leave is immigration fraud. Either work on your marriage or get out, do not stay in it pretending to be a happy couple. This will come back to bite you.

    Thanks for the advice

  13. Just give an update . I confirmed that my husband is not really working at night, he sleeps in the house of his ex.

Is there anyone here who could help me because I have a video recording of our conversation, it is 45 mins long. It is too large to upload in my email. Is there any app  or procedure so I can put it in my email because I don't want it to keep in may cellphone for long he might see it. Thanks in advance.

Hey Confused.   Really sorry to hear your situation.   I don't really know all the options, but I wanted to just provide some encouragement to you.    So first of all, you have not been here very long and sometimes it can take a couple time to adapt to being married.   Hopefully, all is going to work out for you and your husband, however, you need to keep your spirits up during this period, and plan out a strategy so you are prepared for anything..

Someone else had suggested maintaining evidence of his behavior.   I would highly recommend you take that advice.   If you can get emails legally, then yeah, get them or any other evidence such as a picture of the phone with the other woman.   My further suggestion is to document any conversations you have with him where you feel belittled or slighted.   Write down the date and the conversation and the important points of the conversation.   If you need this in the future, it will help establish that it's a frequent and long running problem.   Make absolutely sure that you keep that information CONFIDENTIAL.   You found his phones, don't let him find your documents.

Someone suggested getting a job.   That's a great idea too.   Sounds like he works an awful lot and that could be putting pressure on him.   Having your own job would provide you with some independence and may help take some pressure off of your husband since you can help with some of the bills.   Put something away for yourself too in the event you need it in the future if all does not go well with the marriage.   You should see your work permit very soon.

Your AOS should process fairly quickly too.   So bide your time until you get that since that likely does afford you some protection.   I have seen enough documents that ask if you're still married or divorced.   So you're definitely not the first person to have encountered this situation.   I believe you'll have some level of protection from being deported in the event of a divorce.  You'll need your own money, however, since completing your process is going to cost a lot.  Obviously you'll need a job and income to pay for an apartment, food, transportation, etc.   So think about those things, hope for the best, but plan for the worst.

Good luck.  So sorry to hear this happened for you.

Thank you!!! I will take your advice. I will suppress now my emotion and think the best for me right now.  Like what the saying goes "keep your friends close and your enemies closer".
