  1. :crying:

Because Iraqis are now required to have a G-passport, we applied to get one months ago for my fiance. When it was received, his name was totally wrong. His middle name was listed as his last name and his last name was absent completely. Also, his first name was spelled wrong.

    what a #######!

i sometimes think that monkeys would do better job than some of those f***rs!

feel free to vent anytime you want. hang on there!

  2. The birth certificate is not mandatory, but many people do include it. We included my fiancee's birth certificate in Spanish, along with a certified English translation.

One passport-type photo of each of you in a clear plastic bag, attached to your respective G-325A's.

Thanks kid.. What about her foreign passport. It is not mandatory but should I include a copy of it with the I-129F?

if she's got any visa in it than it's good to submit a copy!

  3. my wish is that we handle this, and all future challenges, with love, determination and fortitude.

Bsides, I still think we'll get 20 January approvals this week :D

So much strength in your words...

God will not make bad things not to happen, he will only help us go through them.

You know, Blake, you are GOD'S eye and word and hand on this site...

I'm thinking about each of those who're still waiting for the approval. It's anytime now!

  4. Hi everybody,

I was just wondering if you ever get a RFE, does it delay the processing of your case?

For an example, if you first applied in february, and got the RFE in mid march, and then they received the evidence back in march as well. Will your case be considered as applied in march or still in april? Or it is just random that they don't touch your case because they are other ones as well?

    Thank you

    Jessica

    hI!

It sure does, but usually the petition is approved real quickly after you send them the missing information!

  5. I know, Its just great news to know that our case has been at least 'touched' in less than a month  I see that you sent your petition to Nebraska at first. we did that too but were fortunate in the fact that we got it back a week later telling us to send it to CSC. Was annoying though

Congrats in getting your NOA2!!! 5months right? happy news

4 and a happy half! thx

but the first 2,5 months lost

    anyway- that's in the past!

    and touches really are great!

  6. Hi All,

    I hope so!!

    One more qs...

Hope this prosess is quick. My fiancee left after visiting yesterday and it sucks  Ahh well, every day brings u one step closer

We got our NOA1 through on April 22nd 08 and i checked the website today and it had been updated yesterday!!

I know that all this could mean is that it has been moved from a desk ect but am i right in thinkin that this update is pretty quick considering its been less than a month?? Could CSC be speeding up?

it's a great feeling  , but don't get too excited as it could hurt.

people are talking about a hard copy of NOA1/2. Is this just the paper that comes through the post? We already have that, but was wondering if it was anything else...

    yep, that's it! congratulations!

  7. We Got approved  however the printer is down in the consulate ! We will be able to go in the morning at 6:30 am  to pick up the visa. Thank You all for your support and your prayers. We stood storng with the back bone of your prayers and good vibes. We have fought for what is right. Now soon very soon we are headed home to be married. God Bless you all. Chuck and Teresa

    :dance::dance::dance:

    wow! cool! congratulations!

was it the same officer  ?

  8. Most applications fail at this point. So getting it is seen as a victory because at least someone believes you :) Also after the NOA2 the process speeds up dramaticially. Consider it a substantial mile stone rather than a victory within itself

The hardcopy NOA2 is very important as it will be required when you go to adjust status later on - save it!!!!

:o now, that's what i never thought about the NOA2!

I thought it would be like a nice memory of the past

    thank you very much, Blake!

    hey! we're NOA2 pals :star:

  9. I was beyond upset! I went back to the waiting room and took a sit for 1 loooooooooooooong hour, I waited and waited and went crazy, trying to figure out where did she got all that ####### from?

but I'm still wondering why does the Consulate has this type of local employee's and does not even mind, about explaining them the rules! And the worst part is that this guatemalan lady, is the same person who replied to an email I sent to the Embassy a long time ago, where she gave me the wrong requirements for the interview (she thought I was applying for residency) I know because I asked for her name on that ocassion after I was aware of her mistake, and today when I saw the yellow paper she filled out it had her name on it too!!!! :bonk: I wonder if the Consulate ever realizes what kind of inepts the have working there!

well, at least you did it!

    wow!

    congrats!
