    Hello all!

Just a little update. Attended my biometrics appointment 04/17 in Alexandria, VA. Took a grand total of 5-10 minutes to go in, find where it was, check in, and have my fingerprints and photo taken. It was incredibly fast and there were only 4-5 people in the waiting area. I am going to guess it was because it as mid-week at 12pm. My cases immediately changed to "actively reviewed". I saw something on here that made me check my USCIS account and see if anything had changed - turns out my I-765 has already been approved, with the approval date being 04/19. This whole experience is surreal as the K1 process has conditioned me to think everything takes years.

Hoping for quick approvals for everyone else too!

Did you get any updates? My standalone approval notice was sent 4/21 and my status remains the same. According to the notice they take 1 to 2 weeks to produce the card.

took exactly 2 weeks for me. Mine was received on March 29th, and it changed to biometrics appointment scheduled yesterday April 12. Now I just have to figure out when the biometrics appointment is because I don’t have an online access code yet.

You should talk to Emma on Monday, the USCIS virtual assistant, and type "live agent". She will connect you with someone who'll ask you questions about your case, then you can ask her for your access code. I did that yesterday and was able to reschedule my biometrics appointment to an earlier date.

Hi guys, I had my medical appointment yesterday morning and I submitted my paperwork to the embassy afterward. They specifically asked for the I-134 form, my fiance's tax transcript, and a few other documents. However, I did not realize I needed to submit her pay stubs with the I-134 and not just her IRS transcript (which we included with a note about her 2022 IRS transcript not reflecting her total annual income). I had everything with me, but the thing is when she asked for specific evidence (I didn't really understand what she was referring to) I just started turning the pages of my folder and when she saw her IRS transcript she said that should be enough (and I didn't know it wasn't enough).

Do you think I will be able to submit the rest of the paperwork at my interview date (January 30)?  Or do you think I should try to contact the embassy to let them know that some paperwork is missing?

Thank you so much, my girlfriend is worried we will get rejected.

    Anyone?

Your visa has not been approved in Aug, your petition was.  It is important to understand this in order to get accurate answers.

Since the medical has an expiration date, i would be cautious about scheduling a medical to far in advance of the interview because the date of the medical will impact the visa expiration date.

Yes, that's true. We just don't want to wait unnecessarily one more month since the process itself is already draining enough, but perhaps it would be wise to just be patient (again). Thank you for your answer.

  6. Hi guys. I want to know your opinion about something. So, after our visa was finally approved in August, now we have to make an appointment at the Embassy. Yesterday they released new dates and they're all for December. Problem is I'm flying to the US to see my fiancé on December 20st, so my appointment at the Embassy must take place after that, ideally in January, when I'm back. On the other hand, you can't schedule a medical appointment before making an appointment at the Embassy. Would it be too impudent of us to make an appointment at the Embassy for December with the intention of rescheduling it? Otherwise, we will have to wait at least two more months and have our medical appointment in January and interview in February, provided there's dates. Our biggest fear is that they don't actually release dates every month and we have to wait even longer. Thank you very much.

Fiancee finally has her interview on NOV16. After such a long wait our time has come. I was actually pretty excited but she is so nervous about it that its getting me nervous now. Isnt it safe to assume that if the 129F got approved thats what matters....the interview is just a formality shouldnt be a problem? Or can she still be denied for XYZ

Was it an issue for her to make an appointment at the embassy? So far for me it's been impossible, I wonder if the dates are available only certain days of the month (Madrid embassy in my case).

    Good evening!

Our case is still at NVC, and should be sent to the Embassy in Madrid on November 7 or 8, with case being ready on the week of November 13.

Today, October 30, they emailed me Packet 3. We have all documents ready, except for DS-160 which I have to wait to do until they receive it.

Based on Elena and Chao's timeline, they got an interview within 5 weeks. Hoping for same so we can be ready by Mid-Jan.

I would email Embassy using their Google Docs form.

Are you part of the WhatsApp Group?

Keep me updated with the interview dates.

    Best,

    Jared

Thank you so much for you reply! Mid-Jan is also what we're aiming for as I'm visiting my fiancé in December. I'm going to follow your timeline to stay up-to-date.

And no! I wish I was in that group, are you in it?
