  1. Hello VJ Guys and Gals! Here I am again, I just want to share to all of you my happiness and excitement now, up to now I can't sleep, it's almost 1am here(lol!) and to think I have to go to the CFO guidance counselling seminar later at 10am(lol!).

Almost three hours ago, I just tried my luck and called to NVC to see if they received our I129f approval and to my surprise , it's there already, and the guy even told me the MNL case number..whoooo! another answered prayer! Thank you Lord, We exalt and praise you! I can't wait to tell the good news to my husband..he's still sleeping right now..on the other side of the world(lol!) but it's almost 7am now for him...maybe he's already up by now..I'm sure because he have to go to work..anyways..I already texted him a message about this good news ^_^ . So guys, how many days from now should we try to call the USEm for our medical and interview dates? I can't wait to know it now...hope you'll respond :P . Thank you guys for reading and replying. I will sleep now. :D

  2. Good day guys! Just wanna know if anyone of you here had the same case/problem like Dora2x and me here. We're just worrying that our birth certificates with supplemental(we didn't have our first names on the front page of the birth cert, but after we fix it and have it supplemented, they just put the name on the right side of the secpa paper, NSO told me that's their system of fixing it) will cause a delay in the document verification process since our annotated/supplemented birth certificates are always in their NSO East Ave, Q.C. office(yes, we can't get another birth cert copy in their other branches).

Anyone who had the same situation like us here? Please share your experiences...let us know if this will really cause a delay. Thank you so much guys for your valuable inputs here. :)

  3. Has anyone here having a supplemental report in their Birth certificate? Coz if u have supplemental report in your BC, U can only get a NSO copy of it at west q.c. branch only w/ the corrected BC . so im just wondering if it's gonna make the document verification slow?

Hey sis! We're actually on the same boat! I mean I have exactly the same situation/problem as you are now, I didn't have a first name too on my original cert at the NSO so I had it corrected/supplemented too(however my birth cert from the local civil registrar where I was registered had my first name on it). So, everytime I get a copy now from the NSO(Q.C) my birth certificate is still blank but my first name is on the right side(not on the bottom like in your case) they said that's the way they correct the birth cert..all the additions/corrections are on the right side. And I have to go on the different counter too, everytime I get a birthcertificate now, that's the counter they provide for all those with birth cerfificate corrections, marriage cert corrections, etc. But the last time I went there to get another one, I finally asked the lady from the counter and told her I'm kinda wondering why after my birth certificate was corrected/supplemented...why after one year of fixing it...I still have to fall in line on that counter... and wait for like a week before they release it...she said because their system is still manual, she"s saying my corrected/supplemented birth cert is not yet on their computerized system, I even asked even after one year? She said yes! But when I finally came back there for releasing..my birthcert already have a bar code...another lady told me, with that bar code..it's already on their computerized system, so it means..next time...I can get my birth cert with annotations/supplementary on any of their NSO branches..it's just that I've been busy this past two months so..I didn't know yet if that lady was telling the truth.. I better try and get a copy from other NSO branch..like you. I'm wondering too..if that situation will cause a delay on document verification..I hope not..now that they said to me mine is on their computerized system now...hey! why don't you look at your latest birth cert too and see if there's a bar code too at the bottom of their paper. And try to get it from the other branch too. Hope we'll have a clear answer on this problem of ours, hope there's somebody here who had the same situation on their birthcert and tell us if it did slow their documents verfication process.

  4. Hi,

My husband already called for correction of his wrong spelled name during the Noa1 arrival of our 129-F (Feb. 20, 2008), however, our hard copy 129-F NOA2 still have the same wrong spelled name.. The person he talked to now at UScis Hotline said it's being taken care of the person working on the case and its being forwarded..

Is anyone here experience this before? Im worried about the spelling.. :(

    Thank you..

Hi, congrats for early approval of your noa2! you're only approved almost a month from your noa1 receipt, wow! compared to us who waited almost 7 months for our noa2 approval since our noa1 receipt for I129f and almost 8 months for our I130..well, that's life! Um, same thing happen to us just 5 days ago when we received the I129f noa2 hard copy, I even posted here about it, on the approval form my middle name(benificiary) is wrong, you know the middle initial letter. We're so worried and my husband even called the NVC for correction..but they said our case has not reached there yet, but same thing, they said they will just make correction when they receive it..but there's no guarantee to that..right now we're planning to call the USEm here but we have to wait until our case gets there..everyone here is telling us not to worry because what matters most is the DS forms that we will fill-up-we should never make mistakes there, and they said as long as the passport and the birthcertificate of mine is correct..no need to worry. I suggest you call the NVC too and I'm sure you will get a more clear answer. Right now..we're still worried about it..but everyone is saying that that can easily be corrected...not a big deal..but like you..we're still worried that's why we have to call the USEm when our case gets there. Hope I can at least ease your burden.. :star:

  5. Thats a easy case. That incident happen to me also. Just write a letter to NVC if your case is already forwarded to them. or USCIS if your case are still there.

Write a letter saying that your middle name is wrong. Clerical Error. give them the original Birth Certificate or any evidence that can prove your middle name. :)

Thanks XPS, my husband already called the NVC but our case is not there yet, and yes my husband just emailed them too, they told him that the USEm here will correct it...but we don't know yet how will the USEM correct it..I guess we should call the USEM Manila too. Thanks a lot for the help.

  6. Call CSC and let them know, it's not that big of deal. Especially since the other forms are the correct format. As long as your original app is correct, your good. Just call CSC and ask them, If it already went to NVC, then talk to them. If you just got approved, it will still be at CSC for a few days. I've never read anyone denied at the interview because of a typo on the letter.

Thanks, my husband is trying to call NVC now..because it's almost a week now since the approval..hope he get somebody on the phone, thanks.

  7. Hello guys! I hope you can give us some advice on this, six hours ago I was talking to my husband, he just off from work and was so happy because he finally got the hard copy of our noa2 approval in his mailbox. He was smiling when he was holding it and telling me that maybe we can call the NVC now to know our case number and probably try to know if our case is already forwarded to the embassy eventhough we know it's still too early to call them, I said he better keep it in a safe place and even told him to send me a scanned copy of it through email so I can see it too, afer receiving the scanned copies of both forms, I130 and I129f, I zoomed and looked at them closely and I noticed on the I129f approval form, my middle initial there is wrong! :( it should be letter J intstead of letter C, I told my husband about it and he looked closely too and yes,,it is indeed wrong :crying: how did that happened? we both felt sad after that and we immediately looked at the other noa2 approval form, the I130 and we're both relieved to know that that one is correct. But that still remains our problem now, we're wondering if that will affect our visa application, we don't know now what to do, we're not sure if we have to call NVC or USCIS regarding this problem, how did USCIS approved both forms on the same day without checking on the different middle initials of the beneficiary? We're really worried on this now..we're afraid this might affect our interview at the USEM in Manila, we're positive that this will be fixed but we just really need your opinions on this guys, thanks so much to all of you here in VJ :help:

hopefully we could say its a mistake due to error. probably the uscis had it wrong... as long as the next docs you'll gona fill up (all the DS-forms), you'll type your name eligibly and correctly coz that will matter most during the interview... noa2 will be needed in the AOS most likely, so i do think no need to worry that much coz its still can be corrected when filing for aos... just fill your names in the form correctly coz they will base that info for your visa. good luck!

Thanks so much ronmay..I'm a little relieved now...I can go to bed now..I wonder if my husband is still sleeping now...

  14. Please tell me I'm not the only one still waiting on NOA2 that filed for a I129F at the California Service Center at the end of August 2007. Please.....

Cheer up guys! Me and my hubby are long been waiting for our NOA2 since August 21, 2007! Although we're really getting impatient now... but always at the end of our conversations, we're always positive that we will be approved soon, very very soon...after all, we know that we're not alone is this long journey..I know it will be worth the wait. I know very soon we will be reunited again to our love ones. I know K-1s are approved faster than K-3s, so cheer up! You'll be approved sooner than us....Good luck to all of us here. ^_^

  15. HI!IM FROM LAGUNA.HOW ABOUT YOU GUYS.....

Why don't we all filipinas here always get in touch until our visa journey is over ^_^

  18. hello VJers!!!

whose goin to POE HNL???? MNL-HNL-MAUI........ im leaving first of march..

    Hello Mel & Richard,

I can't help to reply to you because I can feel your happiness..believe it or not, I feel happy for you too, maybe because we have something in common..it's just that we're applying for K-3, like you..my husband resides in Maui Hawaii too. We've been waiting for our NOA2 approval for K-3 since Aug 2007, six months have passed and we're really getting impatient now...it's like we've been waiting for nothing. It's really hard to be apart from each other for so long specially if you two are already married. We really miss each other so much (even if we talk on the phone/pc everyday), we even thought that have we known that this K-3 process will take this long, we should've not planned to get married here and just applied for a fiance visa(K-1) and just get married in the US, but we did not thought about that before, at that time, what is in our mind is to get married as soon as possible because we don't want to be apart from each other anymore, because we really love each other like everyone here in VJ does. Soudns like I'm kinda whining now..I know I shouldn't feel like this. I know God will always give the desires of our hearts. I just have to pray a little more and be more patient..I know very soon...I'll be reunited again to my husband-my one and only love. I know very soon..I'll experience what you're feeling now...I'll be happy too, like you...I have a feeling...very very soon. Good luck Mel..I know your husband is very very happy now and excited to be with you again. Good luck to all of us on our next journey. ^_^ . P.S. May I know what particular are you residing in HI, we're in Kahului bch rd.

    Pricilla

  19. Cool, thanks for doing this Igor. I'm not an official member of the club yet, but I'm hoping it'll happen in a couple weeks!

Glad to help with anything I can. I'm sure you'll be joining us very soon :)

Thanks so much for that very helpful timelines..I'm under K3 visa application(I'm on the list too) and like most of us waiting for so long already-almost six months since we got the noa1 for I1-29f, your listings are kind of relief to us who are getting a little impatient right now for waiting so long. Thanks for giving your time and updating that lists. I just hope the couples are really updating their timelines to make it more accurate. Keep up the good work. Right now my husband and I are just hoping and praying hard to God to be finally approved(noa2). :):clock:

  20. Hi There:

I'm a teacher in Hawaii. Many filipina Teachers here. I believe they had to send their transcripts and such to an agency that evaluated them. I think you best bet for the teacher credentials would be to ask your State Board of Education; as far as the Chemical Engineering Credential, I would contact the your state bureau of Licensing--in different US states it's called by different names--but they are the people that give out licenses for Doctors and Nurses. To find out more, just google your US state into google, and search for the state website. Look for Licensing. For the State Dept. of Ed do the same thing. If you do not want to search for this stuff, the real easy way is to call your local state representatives office, usully in the phone book under local government. OK. I hope this helps. I did a little research on this for my filipina wife who wants to get her accounting license. ;)

    dave

    Hello,

I was just checking some sites and I was interested into having evaluation of credentials but wondered where is the best one since it cost a lot of money as well. I am a filipina license chemical engineer before coming here i taught high school students in Math and Physics as well and I am also a license secondary teacher but only in the Philippines as it seems ... So anybody who have the same experience please help me to where should i have credential accredited? Thank you for any insight...
