  1. yehey!!!

I just got my visa this very moment!!!!

    im so happy..

the other guys from may 12 will be receiving it too!!!

Congrats! Wow! that was fast! it only took two days for you! did you request to the consul for the quick visa issuance? Just curious, thanks

  2. Hello Shape! Really? All this time Robbie at Delbros keeps on telling me that they send my doc verification last April 28? Oh no! I better call him on monday morning because what I texted and faxed to them before was my married name, I'm sure it will happen to me too, thanks for the info...I better call Robby on monday, I just read VJ now because I just got back from my medical today, thank God it's fine, I passed it, I haven't read VJ for 3 days now.

    Pricila

I was told the same thing and confirmed by Robie that on May 5 was my docs forwarded to NSO, but when i called again yesterday, Robie confirmed me again its only May 12 they submitted mine to NSO. A lot of us here told same thing and will only find out it's not being submitted yet.

As for the name, it's Robbie who told me that the letter that USEM sent them was my name when i was still single along with my case number. That's the request letter that USEM sent to Delbros to be forwarded to NSO for verification of my Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate.

    Hi Shape:

I talked to Robbie earlier and was informed that what they sent to NSO is a letter of request directly submitted to them by the USEM which specifically asked them to deliver this notice to NSO requesting for our documents to be verified correct and authentic. He also told me that the name written on the letter corresponds to the exact details they got from our text message which in our case is our "married name".

My point of view is that changing our names to officially use our married names shouldn't really post a document verification delay given that NSO is the only legally authorized records database owner that has access to this documentations and can easily identify the discrepancy between the names used regardless if it is our maiden or married name just by looking at our respective Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate or CENOMAR.

What I think triggers this setbacks is USEM's timeline in coordinating or sending the actual document verification letter of request to Delbros which in effect is the main bottleneck of the process knowing that Delbros can only forward this appeal to NSO once they received an input from USEM and of course, NSO can only start verifying our docs once they heard from Delbros. Bottomline is, if USEM fails to forward a request to Delbros, then Delbros will not be able to move forward and so is NSO.

Anyways, I found out from Robbie that they already sent our petition’s document verification request to NSO last May 5, Monday and confirmed that our certificates are now being verified at this point in time. If this is the case then I am leaning towards the idea that our case will not be subject to documents verification delay given that NSO normally takes 1-2 weeks to actually finish the documents verification process per case. But I am still keeping my fingers crossed and continue to pray that everything will run smoothly and as planned.

I am wishing everyone the best of luck in their respective visa applications. Keep the faith and pray earnestly. God Bless.

    Hi Shape:

Thanks for sharing this with us. The details I sent through text also specifies my married name and was wondering if we can still correct this at Delbros standpoint. I plan on calling Robbie later as I will also fax him the copy of my Metrobank payment slip together with my interview appointment details. I'll ask for his inputs regarding this matter.

Btw, I remember Robbie (Delbros) asked for my maiden name when I called him up to correct our Manila Case # on their records database.

    Hi Cass,

Yeah that would be a great idea to talk to Robie about this. Basically, Delbros still wait for request letter from USEM for document verification for a particular name.

  3. Hello fellows,500831bpsu96c9te.gif

Finally, i'm done with my tension for now. 369315rg7t2lcr0p.gifI had my interview at USEM Manila yesterday May 12, 2008. Arrived before 6:30am and my first fell in line at security to enter the embassy, where they posted IR1/Cr1/K1/K3 Non-immigrants visa applicants. It wasn't long line there compared with the other two lines (for other applicants). There were different lines also for "seafarers", that's probably the some people said who had had previous interview at USEM where they said we should arrive so early. But there's nothing to worry about that. Those long lines were different from us.(who has scheduled interview at the consul).

At this security check, he asked for my appointment letter that embassy sent me, i told him i didn't receive any packet from USEM, what i have was e-mail appointment letter that they sent us right after I scheduled my interview, i told him briefly this is what i showed also in St. Lukes and the guard noticed that there's St.Lukes marked on my appointment letter, he just uttered "hindi co yata alam yun ah, ok cge patingin nalang I.d mo", i showed him only my postal i.d, and he let me in.

(Hey guys, don't bother anymore to bring your cellphones or any gadgets, because there is really no way you can store it in USEM, though there are this outside people who will charge you P200 for you to give them your cellphones and you will be given by number for you to claim it later. Well , this people are not working at USEM. It's up to you guys, either you entrust your phone to these outside people and pay P200 for them to keep your phone while your still inside the Embassy or just leave your phone in your house, for me i didn't bring my phone, i just left at the hotel.)

At second security, the guard asked again my appointment and i showed him and he instructed me to window 3, it's where I put all my things to their x-ray machine for security check. After this, the guard instructed me to embassy pavillion. (geez! this was a wrong instruction he gave me, been in pavillion, fell in line for almost 40 mins and when i was almost finished at the line, when the staff checked my ds156 and ds157 he said, ma'am You should be at the immigrants section. There were few of us also in K3 and K1 there who got wrong instructions from the guard from the window 3. So, the staff told us to to go to immigrants section. When we got there, there were many people already, wow, just because of that wrong instruction. Those some applicants who were scheduled for 8:30am were ahead of us already. But it's okay. It's past already.

Ok here's the steps i have done yesterday inside the Immigrants Section. (don't worry guys we won't be going to different floors here, its only in this Immigrant Section big room that everything will happen from the 1.checking of ds forms, 2.finger scanning, 3.pre-screening,4. consul interview, and 5.delbros- payment of visa delivery, unlike in St. Lukes different floors to get all things done so we won't be needing back and forth from time to time at USEM.)

    1. GIVING NUMBER. Fell in line to window _ , they asked 2 sets of ds 156, 2 sets ds 157, and appointment letter.(Since I am K3, i didn't have the DS156k, for K1 you will be asked for this). After the woman check mine, she gave me number, this number was important so don't lose it. I then took sit again at waiting area.

2.FINGER SCANNING. From the window where I gave my DS forms and appointment letter, its here where we will hear if our names will be called already for Finger scanning. When i heard my name i went to window _ for Finger scanning.(if your palms perspiring just make sure you dry it before you put it in the finger scanning machine, don't worry also, there's staff here that will assist you and hold your fingers for the scanning.) After finger scanning, i then took a sit again at waiting area.

    3. PRE-SCREENING. My number flashed at the board and the window where i will go. I then proceed to window _ for pre-screening of my docs. Here, the guy only asked to give him first: NSO Birth Certificate, NSO Marriage Certificate and NBI.

After he checked what i gave him, he then second asked me again to give him the following; Affidavit of Support (134) W2s, and Tax Transcripts. ( i gave him 2005,2006,2007 W2s and 2005,2006,2007 tax transcripts, Affidavit of Support and Employment letters.) After he checked it, he gave back the employment letters to me.

    * with pre-screening here i was asked, (my pre-screener was a handsome gay and he seemed nice)

    -who is your petitioner

    -when is his birthday

    -what's his work

    -how i met my husband

-when i first met my husband in person

-how long he stayed in Philippines

-what date exactly he got here in Philippines

    -when did we get married

-how long my husband stayed in Philippines

    -were you married before

    -were your husband married before

    -do you have kids

    -does your husband has kids

The third he asked me to give him were pictures. I gave him pictures, of me and my husband with my family and with his family. The pre-screener then asked "Is your husband a muslim?", i answered "No, he is not, he is american.", by flipping the pics, He also commented , "he is still young and handsome like you, you two are meant for each other." I said "thank you sir", and then he asked me , "have you experience to travel abroad or international flights", i answered "No, not yet Sir."and then he gave me some advises about nothing to worry about , it's important that i get a good sit at plane so i will be comfortable with the flight. I said "thank you sir for that tips". Once again he looked at our pics, and then i asked him, "do you need anything or any proofs Sir?" and he said , "No, this is enough already" , "Ok, you can go back to your seat and wait again for your number to be called. Thank you", I answered "ok sir, Thank you po."

At the waiting area, i sighed and i felt something a bit upset because they never looked at my evidences, i brought so much of our proofs and evidences that weighs almost 7 kilos, geez! until now i have back pain for carrying this.613970ys7jg1sagg.gif

    1_189596709l.jpg

4.CONSUL INTERVIEW. I couldn't say i have had a friendly consul, unlike others had. What i had was a tall American woman with i think in her 30's with very short hair. I greeted her "Good Afternoon", she didn't greeted me back though, she just said "have a seat." She asked me the same questions what my pre-screener asked me. Plus she asked me some additional questions. She even told me "i think you need to be grilled", then she smiled. She also gave some comments, "So you were 23 or 24 when you met your husband". i answered her, "i am 23 when i met my husband." She asked me, "what did you like most about him?", I answered, "He is so thoughtful, no matter how busy he was he always finds time to give time to me even when he was still in Afghanistan. " She then uttered, "oh he is a Military" , i said "Yes Ma'am".

Then once more he flipped our pictures, and she said "i think everything is all fine."

Then she explained brief about the document verification. She asked me if i paid for it, i said yes i did. And she said, The USEM requires document verification so to make sure there are no fake marriages or no fake identities to all applicants. She then said "Ok, i think everything is okay now. You will need to wait for your name to be called once again for one last time." And i said "thank you Ma'am", and she said "thank you"

I then took a sit again at waiting area. After few minutes my name has been called, i went to window_ and the girl gave me back the appointment letter plus the instruction to pay the Delbros visa delivery.

    5. DELBROS Visa delivery payment. They gave me form to fill up for visa delivery and i paid P400 for delivery fee, i put my address in Bataan is why P400, if only Manila area it's only P250. (I saw some someone from Cebu she paid more than P500.)

Finished before 12pm. And was so tired and exhausted because of too much pressure the past few days. The first days of my mens period came the morning of my interview, because of the nervousness i felt i think. haha.

At 5pm i met Relyn at MOA and check the possible place for Eyeball meeting. Will be posting about the infos at the eyeball thread.

    Thanks everyone.

  4. one thing I would suggest... :) bring plenty clothes as you can ...

I have regrets now why I did not just pay for excess baggage.... :(

We went to mall yesterday to buy some interview clothes for me.. it's really hard to find sizes that will really fits me, coz I'm skinny..

So we ended at LOFT... and it was made in PHilippines.. ahah im proud though coz it's famous here... it's really nice clothes... BUT OMG.. it's so expensive here... the slacks is $129 :( then the coats majority $79 and the inside blouse $36..

In PI, I'm fan of branded clothes too but not as expensive like this,,, :( hayz if I only buy formal clothes in MAnila it will not cost me $200 for 1 pair..

I arrived here May 9, we applied for SSN yesterday.. but my name was not in the system yet, but they encoded my docs already, and they will just mail my ssn card when they will see my name in the system.. everything is so easy here in states..:)

P.S we're married already :) in the courthouse... but this is for legal only, so that I can adjust my status right away, get ssn with my married name, cellphone and other bills in my married name, .. BUT our wedding ceremony, reception etc will be on july 12 pa...

Congrats on your wedding, wow! Thanks, that's a good suggestion, I will surely bring and buy more clothes here eventhough my husband is preventing me to do so, he said he'll buy me new clothes there so no need to bring my old clothes, I knew that's not really a good idea because what if it's so expensive there and what if I can't find my size or the styles of clothes that I want. Thanks for a good advice.

  5. Hello, I need your help on the question number 8 on the I-134 affidavit of support form. #8 Question is- The following persons are dependent upon me for support: Place x wether the person named is wholly or partially dependent upon you for support. My question is. do we have to leave this blank since we don't have children yet, can my husband include me there and put x on wholly dependent since I believe I'm his dependent now since I'm his wife and I'm wholly dependent on him for financial support. My husband thinks to leave that number blank and not list me there since he said he did not put me as dependent on his latest income tax. Is it right to leave that question number 8 blank and not list me there his wife? Thank you so much...you're replies are highly appreciated.

Be accurate and truthful at all times. Your name should be listed there, yes.

If the question were, "Who did you claim as a dependant on your last tax return?" the answer would be different.

Thanks for the quick reply, and thanks for enlightening us.

  6. Just wanna share my interview experience this morning..

I woke up around 5 am to prepare for my 7:30 interview, left the house by 6:30, arrived at the embassy before 7 am.

When I arrived at the embassy people are already falling inline so I hurriedly went to k1 line.

I think it doesn't matter if you arrived early or just before your interview time as long as you're not late..hahaha

The guard asked me of my interview confirmation, i thought it is the email that the embassy has sent me but he's looking for the letter that the embassy sent with your case number and an id...but you also need to bring your appointment letter.

Went straight to Gate2, one by one you have to pass by the metal detector and put your things at the xray machine...got no problem at all as I don't have any gadgets. After the xray, you have to go out and turn left to go to the immigrant section. I thought k1 visa are non-immigrant but there's no one in that room so i went inside the immigrant section room where there are lots of people. (Also asked the guard if i'm in the right room)

The room was also full so I just sit near the seafearer's section, waited for my turn to get the ticket number...

While waiting for the guard's instruction, a lady came and told us to prepare the ds forms and make sure to fill them out correctly and completely.

As she said, if you leave some numbers blank it's like hiding something from them..so if a question is not applicable to you..just put N/A.

Also in DS-156K, which is under "DO NOT WRITE BELOW THIS LINE"..she said fill it with your fiance's name and sign it while waiting.

When the guard asked for those who are on 7:30 schedule to fall in line at the ticket booth..i hurriedly went there..gave them all the DS forms: 2 DS-156, 2 DS-157, 1 form from the bank, 1 DS-156k, and my appointment letter.

I was asked how far my pregnancy is. Then she told me to sit down and wait for my name to be called for fingerscanning. that's STEP 1.

    STEP 2: Finger Scanning

You should be attentive while waiting for your name to be called..around 8:20 my name was called for fingerscanning at window 33.

It was fast and easy as the lady who's assisting is nice and smiling so it didn't last for 5 minutes that's including waiting for your turn and the finger scanning itself.

Sit back again and wait for your number...

    STEP 3: Pre-screener

My number was called at 8:40 am at window 25, the prescreener is a nice lady..she's accomodating and smiling..

    She asked for my:

    1. NBI

    2. NSO BC

    3. NSO Cenomar

    4. Affidavit of Support

    5. Pictures

(She didn't asked for emails, letters, or any other evidence, maybe she thought my being pregnant is enough evidence at all :P )

Here are the questions she asked:

    1. Is the father of your baby the petitioner? I said yes (obviously)

    2. How did you met?

    3. What's the job of your fiance?

    4. When are you due?

    5. How many times did he visited? For how long?

After that she said, just sit back and wait for ur number to be called again...

I think it just lasted for 5 minutes only.

    STEP 4: Consul Interview

My number was called at exactly 9 am at window 32..

But I needed to wait outside because there's still an interviewee inside..

I waited till 9:20, while waiting I thought I will have to take that long to finish the interview..got nervous again..hahaha

    So here it goes..

Went inside, i thought the consul was a little bit far from the door but then just when you entered the door there's 2 chairs in each side then it's the consul's window already..He said Good morning and i replied back..didn't take a sit until he told me to do so..

He looked like a nice american guy..maybe in his late 20's..a little chubby....he looked nice.

Here are the questions he asked me:

    1. Who is the father of your baby?

    2. How did you met him?

    3. What is he doing?

    4. What I'm i doing?

    5. When are you due?

    - at this part he was like counting the months and then asked his collegue about how long is the validity of the visa...so he said it's 6 months then he's like..oh ok i think you can still make it..just make sure you get the baby's NSO BC as soon as you deliver so that you won't have any problem if you wanted him to be with you when you leave..as I know that it will take 3 months to get an NSO BC..I told him it's just 2 weeks to 1 month..and he said ok

then he paused and enhale deeply...and typed something in his computer..while he's doing this I can't help but notice how his stroking the keyboard..(hmn..i don't want to think he's a gay..hahaha..) after typing something..then checking back the documents..he said..OK, you're approved! Just wait outside and wait for your name to be called..Goodluck for your baby!!! I said thank you! and i gave him a big smile. :D

As I walk going outside the consul's room..i'm like floating in happiness..thanking GOD for the gift he's given..

While waiting for my name to be called..i could feel baby Rohan kicking inside me..maybe he's happy that we're approved..and i know that he's my lucky charm!!!

Then my name was called at window 38, this is the releasing window..he gave my pictures back..gave me pink slip..then asked me on how far im i..then suggested that i should get a boarding pass for baby before leaving the country. I thanked him and went to the delbros area.

At delbros, i filled out a form for the delivery of my visa..then paid 250 pesos..then went out the embassy..

    NOTES:

I wasn't asked for my baptismal..letters, emails..and document verification..I think it's because i paid last March 25 and it's enough for them to verify my documents.

I also saw SHAPE at the embassy..it's just that we have to be separated because she's on k3..but did saw her just after my consul interview.

 I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL..FOR THE INFO'S THAT YOU'VE POSTED...IT MADE MY JOURNEY EASIER!!

GOODLUCK TO THOSE WITH UPCOMING INTERVIEW!!!

Hello Francis Rohan! Congratulations on your interview! God is so good as always...thanks for sharing your interview also...that's a great help for us whose interview dates are still to come...for me very very soon...God bless all of us.

  8. hi there fellow VJyers, i need your help...US EMbassy sent me a letter requesting written letter of explanation from NBI. If somebody out there who has the same case with mine, please help me what to do. :crying: its been almost two months since my interview and still i got no visa.please help...

Hi, While reading your posting today, I just remember what I read from the USEM Manila website about the NBI, I printed out that one before and now I'm reading it, it says, "An official letter of explanation from the NBI is required for any notation of "No criminal record", "No pending criminal case" or "With derogatory record", it didn't say however what they meant about this notation, I suggest you try to look at your NBI Copy again(personal copy) if you happen to have this notation there. Try to look at it closely, who knows, maybe they made a mistake on the notation of your NBI clearance. I hope everything will work out fine, I'm sure it will, just always pray to God. God bless

  9. VJERS... i wont share anymore my interview experience coz all of us have the same experiences. ill just share to you how i got my visa with no sweat at all, no worries, no fear, no doubt and not once did God failed me coz i always make it a point to concentrate more on helping how others can get their visas. to tell you honestly, im spending more of my time sharing infos, inspiring people, praying for them, answering private msgs, answering fon calls than thinking of what i can do to speed up the release of my visa. it's much easier to think of others than to think of myself, i dont need to think of myself anyway coz i do believe that im already in good hands, I FEEL LIKE A BABY CARRIED BY GOD. my close friends vjers here can attest that i even offer to God to delay my visa in exchange of the release of other's visa. unbelievable right? but it is true.

I told you yesterday that my next post is visa-on-hand. Richard said, he would only book my flight when i get the visa on hand...deal is a deal. so i challenged him, ok honey im gonna get it tomorrow... to make it happen, i prayed so hard before i went to bed, i said, dear God.. i pray that You will send me my visa when i wake up. i really need to have it coz the plane ticket is getting higher each day. You are my only hope oh Lord. give me a sign that im gonna have it. amen.

i slept around 7am then i woke up 9am, coz i want to call up delbros and confirm if my visa packet will be dispatched today. unluckily, it wasnt redrose on the fon. the girl who answered my call wasnt that accommodating. so i cry out loud to God again and told Him,God i will not dial the visa delivery dept again after i say this prayer to you. ill just go on answering private msgs and replying to posts.. after an hour, 10am, BELIEVE IT OR NOT...whoooaaa i got another text confirmation from delbros (this is my second text confirmation).. and i knew right there and then that THAT'S THE SIGN!!!

12:30PM MAY 7 VISA-ON-HAND or it's just proper to say REWARD-ON-HAND THANK YOU OH LORD!!!

ISN'T THAT A MIRACLE???!!! ISN'T THAT ENOUGH PROOF THAT PRAYERS ARE POWERFUL???!!!

I can imagine now the big smile on Richard's gorgeous face if he reads my text to him when he wakes up later. LOVE YOU HONEY!

    keeping my faith stronger-Loterly

vjers, i wont stop praying for all of you yet dont stop praying for as many as you can.

    PRAY, BELIEVE AND CLAIM IT!

congrats loterly! Indeed God is so good! Because you believed, you have faith that's why you're rewarded. God bless you and goodluck, thanks for helping everybody out here. Have a safe trip!

  10. GOOD NEWS GOOD NEWS GOOD NEWS....

LIKE I TOLD YOU GUYS, IF I CALL TODAY, THIS IS WHAT IM GONNA HEAR...

" YOUR VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR PRINTING TODAY"

AND GUESS WHAT, THAT WAS EXACTLY WHAT GRACE TOLD ME..:dance::dance:

SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?? CALL NOW, BLESSINGS KEEP ON COMING DOWN FROM GOD, CATCH IT NOW!!!

WHEN I SAY I BELIEVE, I TRULY BELIEVE NOT BY MOUTH BUT BY HEART AND SOUL, I DONT ENTERTAIN NEGATIVE THOUGHTS COZ NEGATIVE THINKING IS NOT FAITH. THAT ANSWERS THOSE WHO ASKED ME TO WHY I AM KINDA SURE OF EVERYTHING I SAY... ITS BECOZ I TRULY BELIEVE IT WILL HAPPEN. PRAYERS ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN WORRYING. BECOZ GOD IS WITH ME, NO ONE CAN DEFEAT ME, NOT EVEN THE STRONGEST WIND CAN BLOW ME DOWN

    .

THANK YOU GOD AND IM GIVING BACK ALL OF THIS GLORY TO YOU AND TO NOONE ELSE.

    Pricilla

  11. Everyone here who got pink slip were approved. She should get her visa soon. Glad she didn't get a white slip which accordingly means a long wait for doc verification.

    -Riza

Why can't people read what's written on the pink slip..

It doesn't say approve!! It even says if visa is not granted Visa Delivery fee is entitled for refund..

Really? Are you sure about that? I really think they're approved.

  12. around 11:30 am today,i was eating my lunch,..then my sister called me that joyce you have the delivery of ur visa...i got surprise cause i did not expect it today...i was thinking nextweek pa...god is always good...god never fail us...

    joyce and peter

    Congrats!!!

  13. Hello guys,

I had my interview today and visa approved! I got a pink slip and nothing else. Consular officer didnt ask too many questions. He said, "You're good to go. Your visa has been approved. Welcome to America!" Music to my ears. :P

BTW, in the middle of the interview, there was this lady who talked to the consular and handed a document. She said, "Sir, this just came in today." CO said, "Really, what a coincidence! That's good. I'll add this to her file." Then what I saw was my verified document (CENOMAR) from NSO! It was just riiiiiiiiiiiggggght in time baby! Whew! Thank God. I am included in the April 14th list of names from the USE requested for document verification (according to Delbros when I called two weeks ago), so if your name is on the April 14th list it is more likely that your verified documents are there already. Wooooohoooooo!

Just waiting for my visa now. Cant wait to be with my hunny.

    To God be the glory!

    Hello,

congratulations!!! Goodluck on your trip!!! I know you'll receive your visa soon!

  14. Philippines-K3 Filers please share your interview experiences at USEM-MNL. It would certainly help us to know more about the pros & cons of the interviews specially the CONSUL/S way of interrogations to the applicants/respondents of the K3 petition/s. Your shared experiences, comments & expertise would be greatly & highly appreciated, specially to those hopeful filipina spouses still waiting for their coming interview/s. Thank you in advance!

I DON'T WANT TO GIVE HIM MY PASSPORT BECAUSE I WILL HAVE MY MEDICAL THIS MAY 7TH(EARLY), AND EVEN IF I GIVE HIM MY PASSPORT I DON'T KNOW IF HE CAN GET A TIN NUMBER FOR ME. 21. woot woot

after 1 month of being approved ,my husband called the NVC last 4/22 and we got the case number for both petition..

but I called the NVC again to ask if they forward the case to manila embassy and then , she said they sent it a couple days ago..

i asked her also if i can call the embassy for interview appointment and she said wait for the embassy to receive it..

but, yeah.. that alright to wait coz i know that im too close to be with my husband.

im just happy knowing the case is moving..

    goodluck to everbody!!!!

hello Rose, Congrats, now that they've said they already forwarded it to USEM couple of days ago, just count 5 more days before calling USEM Manila call center for your interview date, or to be safe just make it 7 days before you call USEM, in our case it's kinda quick when USEM Manila received and reviewed it, like NVC sent it Apr 03 to USEM Manila and when I called April 10, USEM Manila said to me they actually received it April 08, so it only took 5 days, I should have called USEM Manila for my interview appt 2 days earlier, I thought I need to wait for weeks, but I only waited for 5 days, so you can call after 5-7 days from now for interview date. Okay..God bless.

  22. and so i had my interview today..

my interview appointment is 7:30am, i arrived at the USEM 5:30am (nde nman ako bibo! :)) lotsa peeps offering visa picture and seat services. don't be surprised by the peeps offering u seats and askin for the P30 seat fee..

around 6:15-6:30am the guard started to call peeps that are scheduled for 7:30am interview, and so we immediately walked towards the line near gate 2.

at the gate 2, we were asked to show appointment letter and an ID, after passing the guard, we passed through a door where all your bags and stuff will be scanned, then pass through pavilion, and we entered the USEM.

inside the USEM, we were asked to sit on blue chairs and wait til the guard call our row. then we waited for several minutes then we were asked to stand on line where they gonna ask for your DS forms and in return they gonna give you a number that you’re gonna use the whole time you're there. (note:make sure u have filled them out correctly and completely, hassle kse pag nde). after u got the number you have to wait for your number or your name to be called for the pre-screener or finger scanning.

    (note:pinoy lahat ng pre-screener.)

then, i was called for finger scanning first, i repeated it for 3 times since my fingers seem wet and that when i try to push it down the scanner it wouldn't show perfect prints.. after that i was asked to sit for a while and wait for my number to be flashed on the screen.

and so my number was flashed and i was asked to go to window2 2. the guy asked for my birth cert and nbi, but insisted that he gets my cenomar.. he did :) he asked my questions about my birth cert.. then he asked for the affidavit of support and income tax return 2007 but i gave him 2006, 2007, and w2.. then asked for pictures and emails, i said we hav no email since we chat everyday, i also told him i got phone bills of my fiance.

so all in all, with the pre-screener i submitted birth cert, nbi, affidavit of support and income tax returns w2, 2006 and 2007, pictures and phone bills and chat logs.. also with the pre-screener i was asked some questions like when is my bday for several times.. LOL! then i was asked to sit at the waiting area and wait for my number to be called.

and my number was flashed for the final interview.. WINDOW: 28

i entered the room and he greeted me good morning..

i sat and said "hello, good morning!"

he asked me to swear that all imma say is true.. i said "YES!"

here are the questions : (note:this is how i remember the order the questions were asked to me)

    1. who is your petitioner?

    2. when is his b-day?

    3. where was he born?

    4. was he ever married?

    5. how did u meet him?

    6. when was the first time you talked to him?

    7. what does he do for work?

    8. what do u do for work?

    9. how many times did he come to visit

    10. for how long?

    11. when was the last time he visited?

    12. how many times did he come to visit you?

    13. why didn't he come back?

    14. did he meet you parents?

    15. why would you wanna marry him?

then he looked at the phone bills of my fiance, our pictures and he read some of our chat logs..

then he said.. "well, everything is fine.. we just need one more document from you"..

my face became serious and he said "u don’t have to worry, here's what i need you to do.. when you go outside, wait for your name to be called and pay for your visa delivery"..

i smiled then asked if that is all.. he said "yes" then i said "thank you"..

outside.. my name was called after around 2 minutes, the guy from window 37 asked me if i already paid delbros for doc verification, i said yes and he asked me to show the receipt, i showed the receipt and he gave me a pink and white slip, i dint ask why i got the white slip since almost all girls got them and i heard from the girl infront of me when i was standing on line at window 37, she was advised that its for document verification..

this was my experience and hope it will help..

  24. (F) Loving Heavenly Father,

You know all my worries and fears regarding this interview! You are a most loving heavenly Father and You understand my innermost feelings!

Yes Lord! I am so nervous thinking about the outcome of this interview. You know my limitations Lord, but Your word says that Your strength is enough in our times of weakness. I admit that I have no wisdom or knowledge of my own. But I have confidence that I can do every thing through Christ who strengthens me. I do not know what is in store for me but I know that my future is in the hands of Lord of Lords, Who has made me. So Lord be with me and help me to find grace in the sight of the concerned authorities. I need not be afraid of men because I have the Lord Almighty beside me. Please go before me and let me answer the questions boldly and intelligently. Please remove all the unwanted fears and worries and fill me with courage. Let me never be put in shame.

I thank You Lord for listening to my supplications and filling me with Your peace. In Jesus' name I pray.

    Amen.

    (L) Michael&Maria

Thanks for the interview prayer, I just said that prayer to the Lord our God...may all of us here will be approved. :innocent:
