The tickets were for me to fly into the Philippines to attend (or wait outside) the interview appt and then we all fly back home together.

They are not refundable but changable with a fee. Hopefully since our medical is today and the interview appt isnt until Dec we will have enough time to get it resolved.

Thank you...we still plan to attend, just not sure what happens after and if we will be able to have my son tested in time for the interview.

I'm not sute what happened but suddenly I was able to create an account and schedule the appointment.

My fiance and son have the medical appointment today and I just saw this posted on their website. If I understand this correctly this means because of the shortage of tests he (9 years old) cannot have this test and therefore we cannot go to our embassy interview. Is that correct? Our embasssy interview is currently scheduled for Dec 5th but because of his age he is not even required to be there. If I understand this right once they get more test in they will notify us to reschedule? I dont trust them to reach out to each and every person to let us all know and all the appointments will be booked very quickly if/when they do. Has anyone ever see this before? What exactly is the IGRA test? If they do not release the medical report are we stuck because we cannot have the interview? We have purchased our tickets already and i have taken time off work so I am concerned about the timing of this announcement. Has this happened before and does anyone have any guidance on how to proceed?

This is what I think is next She pays the fee for the appointment visa first (MVR). Then she takes the receipt number and books the appointment online at ustraveldocs Once the visa appointment is made online then she can book the medical appointment Yes? or do we have to wait for a letter from the embassy with instructions

ok so I have been going in circles about this and we are a little lost so here goes...... We are already "READY" on the CASC status website I completed the DS-160 for both my fiance and a seperate one her son We already registered at SLEC for the medical (didnt pay yet) she has an appointment for oct 11 We already registered at ustraveldocs. c o m to schedule visa appointment but didnt pay yet. We have not gotten a letter from the embassy with any instructions or invoice number. When we try to walk through paying we get to a page that asks for a reciept number for ther DS-160. I dont know where to get a MVR reciept number and I am stuck there. When I try to walk through the payment steps to get a reciept they ask for the receipt number and I am going in circles. What am I missing?

I've actually been on there all last night and this morning trying to make an account but keep getting an error message. sooo frustrating

oh....also mine is showing in transit already...maybe i already had a case number and they didnt let me know.

We just got our case number this morning...its just so crazy how things are processed our of order but as long as we all get to the finish line I think that is all that matters. Cheers

my case is at NVC but we have no case number yer. our NOA2 date is Aug 22

I am a little confused...... Are we supposed to fill out the I-134 (affidavit of support) or the I-864 (affidavit of supoort)

Right exactly, I was referring to the medical records. If he had a mental health crises those records would be held within the facility and not with the court or police department.

Unfortunately this is not enough information to make an inteligent guess and doesnt show a disposition. Even in dismissed cased it shows the disposition on the FBI report. So to be clear he was arrested, charged, held in the mental health facility and not the jail? then released from the mental health facility? The precinct/procecuter could have dropped the charges IF they deem it to be a mental health crises and not a crime but the charges do not appear to support that assumption. It appears that this is a case that has not yet been ajudicated so you/he can order the official police report to get some clarity but the courts may not have anything further at this point.

is the arrest date the same for both of these charges?

Hmmm everything left blank could indicate that he was released on PR (Personal Recognizance) did you see 30.01 anywhere on the records you saw?

The mental health records I do not believe are releasable under HIPPA rules regarding medical records.

Another alternative is that they arrested him, charged him and then bail was set but he didnt have the money for bail or a bail bondsmen to get out. A few days later he or someone else may have come up with the money for the bail boindsman. Either way there is more "there" there. IMO

How do you know they received your case already? My NOA@ was approved on 8/22 and I am dying to know but cant find where to look and see that NVC received it.

So.....just so that I am clear. Upon receiving my NOA2 while waiting for my case to be sent to NVC there is no way to track it or check anything? Do I just wait for something in the mail? Can I use case tracker? We are gathering our documents, etc but I feel like I am stalking my mailman and there must be a better way to check that my file has been sent to NVC. No?
