  1. Update 😃 Got a email saying my processing was completed, and at the same time got a message on my WOM case that there was a appearance by the Defendant, so looks like the law suit did have a affect on them completing my processing, took like ~1 month since the filling Heading back to Canada next week to get my passport stamped and finally heading back to to US after 6 month. Did an estimate that overall i have spent/lost close to ~$35-40k, 6k on suit, ~3 months of lost wages (on leave of absence), ~1 month of hotels/airbnb in Canada, Flights tickets to and back from Canada (~$2000) and my home country. All while still paying for rent/car/utilities back in US
  2. yeah spent a month in hotels between ottawa, toronto and monteal, and finally decided to head back to my home country (Pakistan) and have been staying with parents for last 3 months. All my stuff is still in US and i am still paying all my bills (rent, car, insurance etc)
  3. Filled my WOM today, Embassy (Ottawa) has 9 weeks to reply back. Been 4 months for me since i went for my interview, i was told i have a good case to get approved by WOM because i have been living in US for 11 years and all my stuff is still there and i have been paying for rent/car and other things for the last 4 months while been out of country. Already spent more and potential could spent alot more to move my stuff and cancel my contracts than not going the WOM route Let hope i don't have to wait the whole 9 weeks
  4. So its been almost 4 months for me now since i went to renew my H1b visa stamp and i am thinking if going towards the WOM route, this is the 3rd time getting a admin processing, last two times it took ~ 3 months and this time it been longer. At this point my company has allowed me the max amount they can to work from aboard and will need to go on unpaid leave (while also paying my apartment, car, and ultites back in US ~$3000 per month) and getting married next month. So its either leave US (pay heavy fines for cancelling contracts), cancel my green card process (which was recently started) and move to another country or file a WOM and hope for the best. I have went through the thread and looked at the options for lawyers for WOM, can someone recommend me the best one in their opinion and roughly how long it takes them to file it? Thinking of going with goldstein but reading their communications isn't that great or nimerlaw
