  1. Exactly! There's an urge to re-check, to update, to ensure. In my research I noticed a lower rate of RFE / a higher rate of approvals for those who kept trying to change things - name, address, an expedite. While I'm by no means suggesting we flood Emma chat with expedite requests (a queue for those is up to 2 months now), I have to admit that they might signal that the relationship is ongoing.
  2. I have not. I've done everything to the letter. But USCIS is now asking for more things than the original form had provided. Here's an RFE that a friend of a friend got recently (attached). This is the data I want to provide. I haven't actually sent any letters yet. But I want to prepare one this weekend. And I booked an unexpected extra trip to see my beneficiary just to build up the time spent together factor.
  3. It probably will. It likely will. I refuse to give up. So I will keep doing it anyway. I intend to prepare 3-4 pre-RFE packets using the very same way. My only reason for delay, my beneficiary failed at an even prior step, so we're working on a Schengen packet.
  4. It's amazing to have someone like you by our side. It's extremely sad, that 99% of folks aren't listened to the same way, though.
  5. Resend the entire form, ensure it's signed, to California USCIS center. Now. Would it help? Unclear. Am I using the same process to pre-provide data before RFE or a denial? Yes.
  6. Nearly all expedites are getting frozen nowadays. It's as if the stop-valve was turned off mid-April 2022. Even those approved are sitting still in that stage.
  7. First of all, what a great example of thorough research. All I have to add is, Biden has just promised to exit U.S. out of all Covid measures by May. Some good news for those unwilling to participate in vaccination (I'm treading very carefully down the middle here, not expressing support for either option) may be coming.
  8. I would too! If only because it would be first for USCIS Instead, my timeline fell back by a week in the last week. 🤡 Either we're celebrating a dead-cat bounce or VJ algorithms (based on everyone faithfully updating their timelines) are off.
  9. So, here's something interesting that I have found: it is possible to go from an RFE Response back to an Additional Evidence Requested status. In other words: use this waiting time to make your case ironclad. 2290001551 RFE Response Received 1/6/23 1/13/23 2290001551 Additional RFE Sent 1/24/23 1/31/23
  10. I've read stories on here about people being turned around for expired documents. I would do my best to ensure everything is valid.
  11. Ah, I see. Just a thought: have you considered meeting her in Turkey? It's easy for Americans and it's rather easy for Russians too.
  12. Man. What is your itinerary? I've had brutal ones, but none that took 2 days. Have you checked Air Serbia?
  13. Do I know that for a fact? No. Do I utilize a plethora of alternative sources? Yes. Yes, I agree, there is a deafening silence from those receiving RFEs. Then again, having been a subject to one, there's literally zero data to respond to as to who, why, what, when, where. It's a genuine cluster... mind... to answer to.
  14. Precisely Your curiosity is justified. It all comes down to the most politically-appropriate way of writing that hey, all'a'yall don't do nothing on time, so what am I supposed to provide... Be gentle and don't quote me 🤡
  15. I will be honest: I am preparing a hail-mary letter to USCIS outlining a post-I-129F meeting data submission. Will it succeed? I do not know. But I intend to overflood USCIS with evidence of the relationship.
  16. - Proof of the beneficiary's parents and friends being aware and consenting of the relationship - Proof of the wedding ceremony being pre-planned in detail That's what Oct '22 and Nov '22 RFEs had been like.
  17. A'ight. So, html code for that page is "<!--Last updated 05.08.2018-->" No idea how long they've been hanging onto that, but whatever. Let's proceed: Uscis.gov --> Tools --> Reports and studies --> Immigration and Citizenship data --> FY22 Appropriations Reporting Requirement - Application Processing Data for November 2022 (CSV, 3.54 KB) Are you all seriously not seeing how USCIS is falling back every quarter? Have you not seen my prior forms on this very forum proving as much? Look at their end-of-year report yourself! USCIS Fiscal Year 2022 Progress Report So please don't whine at me - and do bridge the gap in your own research. Talk to your senator! Talk to your representative!
  18. RFE cases spend anywhere between a week and an infinity (or application expiration, 2 years) before being decided on. Some RFEs genuinely linger on forever. Which means, prepare for an RFE now and build up your case iron-clad in advance.
  19. USCIS levelled at under 800 cases thus far in 2023. Please check their latest reports: the 6-month cycle mentions are nowhere to be found. The current goal is working on I-485s.
  20. That is a VERY wrong thing to say. An RFE is an indicator that not enough evidence was provided. As processing times increase, the rate of RFE will keep on growing as USCIS is under burden to prove that a USC and a foreigner's relationship is ongoing. As RFE percentage rate grows (and let's not forget about denials), every I-129F applicant better be compiling their folder of proof, to be submitted on a moment's notice.
