  1. Yes I’m ir1 too. I didn’t send anything nor did they request muchThats why im wondering what they will ask at the interview Ir1
  2. They may not ask for it but what I think you should do is have another joint sponsor fill out the 1864 and have your wife take it with her. That way if they do ask then just tell the truth and give it: but i can ask for you because I know someone working there
  3. Its good news for alot of people. Thank you for keeping me updated it really helps so that I prepare
  4. Thank you hun . I appreciate it. Yes i believe so. My brother works there but you know due to conflict of interest theres nothing he can do but he did tell me they have new workers and a new chief
  5. Thank you for keeping me updated. I really appreciate it. I guess I can cross my fingers to really hear something before the end of the year since Im october
  6. It all depends on when the person Dq.. they usually do it in order. When it goes out of order it can either be even though you filed before that person all their documents were verified and approved before yours based on when it was sent in and another reason could be that their case was expedited after putting in a expedite request. This happens. But what I can say is the Jovenel situation only put things back by like a month. Nothing major. Covid was the culprit .
  7. Yes I’m aware . My brother is an immigration officer that works at the embassy in haiti
  8. You are absolutely right. The Americans in the Haitian embassy do not want to work
  9. My priority date is june 2019 and my dq date is october of 2020 which is why I still haven’t received an interview. If they went by the priority date . I would of had my interview long time ago .
  10. No its not your priority date. But your dq date is what the embassy goes by . Your priority date is determined by uscis but dq date is by nvc
  11. Ok im sorry the immigration preparer misinformed you. There’s both an approval date which is the date your case got approved and then there’s a dq date in which all documents that are received are verified and approved. They schedule the appointments based on the dq date.
  12. No your dq date is the date that nvc accepts and approve all the required documents that they ask you to send in
  13. Would you be able to ask your husband what other months of ir1’s are having interviews besides may 2020 if any please as far as the group goes
  14. Gsanon is it only may dq that received ir1 interviews in the group you are in. Congrats by the way
