  1. Yeah there is a new ambassador to pakistan. Can we send him letters or send our Congress letters to speed up the processing for pakistan? India has caught all the way up and is almost current now but it’s almost a 2 year wait for Islamabad. Guys if we don’t voice our opinion nothing will change.
  2. This separation and delay caused so many issues between me and my wife. Now unfortunately we are getting divorced and this is all the fault of US IMMIGRATION
  3. This was resolved. I logged in today and they reset the pay option and now it went through. Just took some time. Thanks
  4. Ohh I see it’s AoS. Affidavit of support fee. I’m the petitioner and wanna pay the fee. Yeah ok I’ll have the spouse start the ds260 and I’ll keep trying to pay. thanks
  5. Yeah but I can’t start the adjustment of status paperwork only the ds260. And I can’t submit anything for them to review until the AOS is submitted also. I am unable to click on the AOS field. It’s greyed out.
  6. Guys I need some help. I am not able to pay the AOS fee, when I tried it gave me some error saying “unable to complete form, please try again later” but it got stuck as status “in process”. That was days ago and I was able to pay the IV fee and it went through. what can I do? I don’t wanna do public inquiry since that’s a 2 month wait just to be able to start this process? This is a BS system and I can’t even call them to fix this. doesn’t this warrant an expedite based on clear NVC error?
  7. Sorry that all of you guys are going through a tough wait but I just got my approval notice. My NOA1 was 1/31/2022 NOA2 8/6/2022 so mine was approved in just 6 months. That’s crazy fast. Not sure why but I’m really thankful.
  8. After 10 long months in administrative processing after IR1 interview in November 2021 and 3 times inquiry through congressman. Islamabad embassy finally reviewed my aunts case and emailed her to bring her passport for her visa. Alhamdulilah, but what a slow and lazy embassy.
  9. I have been following this nonsense for a long time and my uncle is stuck at this terrible embassy and my wife is also stuck in Pakistan. She’s still in the I-130 phase so you guys can imagine it’ll be years before she can come here. Very very terrible process. I wanted to add in some info that might explain why Islamabad moves the DQ dates so slowly. This is all originally stemming from president Trump, all delays and nonsense was caused by him. He was the one who shut down all consular processing in 2020. He also implemented the Muslim ban from several countries and people don’t think pakistan was effected but trust me it indirectly was because: my uncle, his wife visited Iran once and when her interview came along they rejected just because of this Muslim ban on Iran. Even though she just visited, now that Biden ended that ban. Many Pakistani applicants who were originally denied during 2018-2020 are trying again and getting interview dates since their cases are much older than those DQ’d in 2021 and 2022. Also many petitioners who were originally not citizens now have become citizens have upgraded their cases to IR, and they all have much earlier DQ dates. This embassy is choked and clogged with so many qualified applicants and they are working so slowly it’s never going to get better unless some miracle in policy changes or the new ambassador does something. lastly wanted to add the last piece of disgusting news from this embassy. My uncles wife had her IR1 interview back in November 2021… but she has been in administrative processing this whole time till today!!! My uncle contacted congressman and he inquired to the embassy but they sent back generic response saying your case will be handled when we get to it blah blah. What a terrible embassy. Such a broken process. Separating loved ones from their families for years. Shame on them and this whole American immigration process.
