  1. Good point! Thanks for letting me know, I'll keep that in mind.
  2. I work for the airlines. The way I check in and get on flights is slightly different. My main concern is CBP entry points, not so much the airline's procedures and personnel.
  3. Thanks everyone! Exactly! That is why I'd rather avoid the ADIT stamp, if I can. When I called USCIS yesterday, the agent offered to set up an appointment but I stalled and said no. Sounds good, I'll wait. From what I'm reading, the whole issue about needing a I-797C for travel is that airlines want to see the original copy to allow boarding. CBP, on the other hand, doesn't seem to care about it, and I'm reading that using a printed copy is fine. If true, this would make my life a lot easier
  4. Ok, fair. I applied on 10/03/2025 so I still a while to wait, I guess
  5. I already did as I mentioned in my original post. I also posted the reply I got via email to my request for a duplicate. I guess I am not sure how to interpret it. Should I wait for the duplicate notice in the mail and get the ADIT stamp in the interim if I urgently need it? Or are they telling me that the duplicate will never come and that the ADIT stamp is my only option?
  6. Hi all. I'm dealing with an annoying issue. My conditional green card expires on 11/06/2025. I put in for removal of conditions on 08/11/2025. I have an online account and I can find the Receipt Notice I-797C, Account Acceptance Notice and Appointment Scheduled Notice there. I also received those notices in the mail, except for the I-797C containing the 48 months extension. I do need this original notice for work as well as travel. I got in touch with USCIS several times. Initially they told me to contact LockboxSupport. I did, but they replied saying they don't print notices and to contact the center processing my application. I started a case for Non-Delivery of Document requesting they send me a copy of the I-797C on 10/03/2025. Yesterday (10/22/2025) I received the following reply The status of this service request is: You or your representative contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) about the non-delivery of your extension notice. The local field office can provide you with temporary proof of your resident status. If you are need of temporary proof of your resident status, please request an appointment to receive an ADIT stamp. You may contact the USCIS Contact Center for an ADIT stamp appointment at 1 (800) 375-5283. This is not what I am looking for so I called USCIS again today and the agent told me a Notice was sent to me in the mail and returned back to them as non-delivered. I find that hard to believe since I never moved from this address and I received all other notices. She said she can see my non-delivery request but that they will not issue another receipt and that my only option is to get an ADIT stamp. Has anyone else experienced this and successfully managed to receive a copy of the I-797C in the mail? Any tips or suggestions?

In and out in 5 minutes. By the time I got home the case status changed to Case is Still Being Processed by USCIS. I expect (and hope) to hear nothing until I'll put in for naturalization next year. Wishing everyone a smooth case processing

  9. We are still waiting for the receipt to show up in the mail. The check was cashed so we know things are moving. Kicking myself for not including the G-1145 form in my packet, but we are past that now; just have to be patient. As soon as I get the receipt in the mail I will upload it to my online profile and take it from there.
  10. Hello all! 08/19/2025 Mailed to Elgin, IL PO box with FedEx 08/21/2025 Delivered Did not include the e-notification form, my mistake. I’ll keep an eye on my bank account to see when USCIS cashes in the check, use that as a very rough tracking tool. Apart from that, the long wait begins. Hope it goes smoothly for all of us.
